You will love the view of the Pond from all three deck levels as you eat your meals, sit around the fire pit, swing, relax, sunbathe, or swim in the pool. Very quiet and you have it all to yourself. From time to time, you may see deer, turkey or quail around the property. On clear nights the stars are amazing, and at times the sunrises can be spectacular. It is hard to get any better than this.

Lovely quiet cabin. Clean and very family friendly. My grandson enjoyed toys and sticker books. We had a great time in the pool and grilling, making s'mores at the fire pit.. We found some snake skin that had been shed and I also saw a deer along the wood line. Down near the pond were quite a number of butterflies to photograph. Kitchen was well stocked. Owners were flexible with reservation changes and offered friendly communication. We enjoyed our stay and will probably return if possible.

Beautiful cabin and property. Clean and well kept. Stocked with everything just like home. Communication was excellent with Randy. The pool was perfectly heated for 90 days. Wifi and roku tvs made things perfect for our son with Autism. Very spacious home. Lots yo do nearby. We will definitely be back. Casino is close by and we didn't lose so that was also a plus.

Cozy place with a wonderful pool the grandkids loved. Positioned in a area to allow us to boat, visit Marengo Cave and of course enjoy swimming, kayaking in pond out back ending the night with a bomb fire and smores.

Restful vacation

It was a wonderful place to stay and hope to return sometime. It was very quiet and a great backyard to look out on and watch for the wildlife. The pool was the best. We definitely enjoyed that. Everything was very clean and communication with the owners was fantastic. The kitchen cupboards had several condiments and supplies you might need for cooking. If we do come back to the area will definitely want to stay here again.

Paoli Get Away

Our stay at the Paoli cabin was wonderful. Our family especially enjoyed the heated pool and firepit. The cabin was secluded and very quiet and peaceful. We saw songbirds, bunnies and some cute little lizards. The cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. We made several day trips in the surrounding area and found lots of fun activities to do. Our hosts, Bonnie and Randy were top notch and made check in and check out an easy process. We would highly recommend The Paoli Cabin and would gladly return,,,,Steve & Gwen

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful serene place to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy everyday life. The pool was absolutely wonderful, pleasant any hour of the day. Lots of places for family to spread out yet be close. Hosts were very receptive, generous, and helpful.

Tremendous Property

So secluded yet 20 minutes from anything you would need. This is my 20th year of renting a VRBO property and by far the best. The pool is perfect and the grounds are immaculate. Sister trip

My 3 sisters and I loved, loved, loved the property. It was so clean and well stocked. The pool area was amazing. We spent a lot of time on the upper deck just relaxing and enjoying nature and the beautiful scenery. So peaceful and no bugs. The recliners in the living room were very comfortable too for watching a movie. Randy, the property owner was so nice and addressed any issue we had, which was very minor. We have been doing sister trips since 2010 and this was probably our favorite property. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. Thank you Randy for allowing us to stay in your property. The steps were a little of an issue for me since I’m on oxygen but outside of that, the whole experience was awesome. We traveled from central/southern Illinois. First time for staying in Indiana. Couldn’t have been better!❤️

An Epic Adventure

What a great stay at the cabin! We visited as part of a 60th birthday celebration for my mom and it was all she could have wished for. Loved enjoying the fires at night and look forward to returning in warmer weather. The hosts were fabulous in their communication! You wont be disappointed!!

Relaxing with friends

Three longtime female friends enjoyed peace and serenity in which to relax. Took advantage of the pool. Drove into Paoli for Superburgers ( they were) and visited French Lick and West Baden. Directions from Paoli got us lost ( mention of gravel road we passed twice would have helped). Phone call got us there. Locking code had to be changed with another phone call. Actually easier to access from French Lick. All in all a great time and lots of talking and games.

Birthday Getaway

We rented the cabin for my husband’s birthday and we were not disappointed! We had a great time swimming in the pool and fishing! Our 4 year old loved roasting marshmallows for s’mores by the fire pit. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. We will hopefully be back!

This place was perfect. Beautiful place and location. Had safety things in place for my toddler. The hosts had excellent communication and were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful views and SO clean inside and out!

This property was amazing! The cleaning and maintenance of the place inside and out was top notch! My friends and I do a trip every year for a little girls/moms get away (this was our 6th year) and we all agreed this was by far our most favorite yet! It is well stocked with anything you would need from kitchen needs including paper products, cooking pans, untensils, spices, condiments and much much more! bathroom towels/soaps/tp, TONS of movies if you're looking for a relaxing night in along with other streaming services such as netflix. lots of options for games/cards if you want a day in or get a rainy day. Laundry room with detergent, beach towels, HEY GOOGLES through out the home, 2 areas to have a fire, Blackstone for cooking, TONS of pool floats... Even stuff for kids on the property (kiddie toys for pool, baby gate, little swimmers) Just tons of stuff! All you really need are some clothes and food. If you're wondering if they have something, don't hesitate to ask... The owners are VERY responsive, nice and super easy to stay in contact with. And a nice little touch we loved ... When we got there we had a little note from the house keeper welcoming us and she left a loaf of her homemade bread (YUMM!) and fresh farm eggs! I can't say enough good things about this place! If you're looking for a quiet little get away... Whether it be with a group of friends/adults or a group with some kiddos... You can't go wrong here!

Relaxing stay

My mom, two sisters and I had a very good time at the cabin. They have stocked it with everything you could want. The place was extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. It’s only 20 minutes away from French Lick casino where we got lucky on the Wheel of Fortune machine. We ate at the German Cafe. It was delicious! Can’t go wrong with this cabin!!

Clean and Cozy Cabin/House

We will be back. This cabin had everything and more we needed. Grandkids loved the pool, and private room options. Osborn ramp got us closest to the fast part of Patoka to allow us to tube. Only 15-20 minutes away! We saw Big Foot too!

Perfect family getaway!

This is a really nice place! Plenty of room for everyone. The pool is so nice for the kids to enjoy. And they provide way more amenities than most vrbo rentals. I would highly recommend and we will be staying here again when we are in the area! Fishing and swimming entertained us very well!

Bonnie and I have been married for going on 53 years and have always lived in the Indianapolis area. We always pulled a boat down and have fished the Patoka Lake for many years and absolutely loved the area and southern Indiana, so we decided to have a Getaway place that we could come to. So we purchased the cabin in 2009 and have loved it ever since. We also enjoy traveling, hiking, sightseeing and antiquing.

This is a great cabin that sits on a beautiful property with everything you would want. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors, and you are all by yourself. No neighbors close to you, so you won't be bothered. Strong Internet connection, 16x30 inground pool, 5 acre pond, fishing, firepit, plenty of deck/patio chairs, porch swings, Blackstone Grill, 3 different deck levels to sit and enjoy the scenery. Stars can be amazing on a clear night and sunrises can be spectacular at times. French Lick and Paoli are both less than 20 minutes away and then Patoka Lake and Hoosier National Forest is less that 15 minutes away.

Our family has always loved coming down to the cabin. This is named R&B's Cozy Cabin Getaway because that is exactly what it is. It is like coming into another world and leaving all the troubles of work and life behind. Our family has been making memories here for years and we truly hope your family can make great memories here as well.

In the spring, summer and fall months you have Patoka Lake and all that it has to offer like boating, fishing, skiing. If you like hiking and Mother Nature then Hoosier National Forest is less than 15 minutes away and Hemlock Cliffs is approx. 20 minutes.

French Lick (less than 20 minutes away) offers the casino, water splash park, indoor karting, miniature golf and lazer tag, wineries, golf, museums, trolley rides, the scenic railway, Wilstem Wildlife Park and Zip Line, and multiple different restaurants.

Paoli (less than 20 minutes away) offer Paoli Peaks in the winter months for snow boarding and skiing, and multiple places to dine.

Less than 45 minutes away you can visit Santa Claus, IN and Holiday World, the Archabbey in Saint Meinrad, Sisters of Saint Benedict in Ferdinand, or Marengo Cave.

We have several different brochures available for most of the area's activities on the office desk.
