Enjoy Folly Beach from one of its most stunning locations! Located in the heart of the "Washout" on Folly Beach, where the river and ocean are just 200 feet apart, it offers breathtaking views, steady sea breezes, and a peaceful escape you’ll never forget.

The property features nearly 360-degree views of the Morris Island Lighthouse, Cooper River Bridge, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Folly River. The private 400-foot dock is perfect for fishing, crabbing, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying the sunset. A top-of-the-line HotSpring hot tub, two outdoor showers, and multiple seating areas around the property make the outdoor experience second to none.

Inside, the second floor is the heart of the home. The open-layout boasts a 14-foot kitchen island, high end appliances, and on-demand filtered hot/cold/sparkling water. On the riverside deck we have a 4 burner Weber natural gas grill that is a delight to cook on. The living space flows seamlessly into the 450-square-foot screened porch, where you can lounge on premium furniture or enjoy a meal with both river and ocean views.

The second floor layout offers a generous primary king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, featuring his-and-her sinks and a walk-in shower. Two additional queen bedrooms and a second full bathroom are located off the hallway.

The ground floor offers additional living quarters, including a King Bedroom Mother-In-Law Suite with a full bath, a living room, and a kitchenette. Please note that the downstairs and upstairs connect via outdoor stairs.

Technology in the home includes high-speed WiFi (1,000 Mbps download/50 Mbps upload), Apple TVs for streaming, and a SONOS speaker system with three zones, including outdoor spaces.

The riverside backyard yard is ideal for family hangs and play time and features barefoot-friendly grass, low-voltage lighting, and LED lights along the dock. Under the house, there’s plenty of storage space for rented golf carts and beach gear.

The creek on the property is tidal and offers excellent fishing and crabbing at higher tides as well as a fantastic launch point for kayaks and paddleboards. Across the street (three houses down) is a public beach access point with showers and baths. We are located 10 miles (about a 20-minute drive) from historic Downtown Charleston and about 40 minutes to the Charleston International Airport.

This is not your average Folly Beach rental. Our home has been thoughtfully remodeled and carefully furnished because it’s our primary residence when we’re in town. We are seasoned mom-and-pop short term rental hosts who take pride in offering an exceptional experience. We ask that you treat our home with care and respect. Any events such as prom nights, weddings/receptions, retreats or large gatherings will result in immediate eviction without refund.

For your security, the property has three outdoor cameras monitoring the front, side, and backyard.

Maximum occupancy is eight guests. No events and no pets are allowed.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll have exclusive access to the property, with the exception of our workshop in the backyard, which remains locked during your stay.

We do not provide beach towels or beach gear, so please bring your own. Our housekeeping team keeps the home in pristine condition but cannot supply items for the beach.

Public beach access is conveniently located just three houses to the north or five houses to the south.

Golf carts are a great way to explore Folly Beach and can be rented from several local companies.

What is your refund policy? Please review the reservation terms and cancellation policies carefully, as we do NOT provide refunds for hurricanes (unless mandatory evacuation), travel delays, or other emergency circumstances. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance through VRBO or a trusted third-party provider to protect your trip. Things do happen and we will refer you to customer support for any further information should you need to cancel.
