The entryway of Highland Wood opens into a spacious living room decorated with updated mountain furnishings. You'll love the stunning vaulted ceilings and large, picture windows that look over the Smoky Mountains and offer unique photo opportunities every day. Relax and enjoy the ambiance provided by the wood-burning fireplace. This main living area is an open concept with a spacious dining area connecting the living room to a fully stocked kitchen.
The 4 bedrooms are carefully spread across the first and third levels providing a sense of sanctuary in this 2,000+ square foot vacation home. All beds have high-end mattresses; linens, new wall mounted smart TV's plus exquisite views of the mountains. There is a full bathroom between each set of bedrooms and a half-bathroom just over the living room in the main level. A screened-in hot tub is also located on the bottom level, with sliding glass doors to access. Finally, you have access to a private sauna, located on the same floor, to enhance your relaxation options!
Outdoor living amenities include an expansive deck providing uninterrupted views of the mountains and nature. Breathtaking Views at the top of the Smokies! Sip your morning coffee watching the sun rise from the top of the mountain. Spend your day hiking or visiting Gatlinburg. Take a soak in the hot tub while the sun goes down or relax in the sauna after a long day of hiking!

Finally, Highland Wood is located in Chalet Village, which gives you additional access to even more amenities. Ping pong, pool, foosball, checkers, and chess are found inside parts of the three clubhouses -- as well as a universal gym. Outside you can find paved walking trails to stroll. Bring your own towel and find one of the three swimming pools all with changing rooms. Entertain yourself with horseshoes and other yard games or play a few matches of tennis on the lighted tennis courts.
For children 12 and under, the kids’ playland enclosure is ideal, located at the South Baden Clubhouse or the kiddie pool with the cascading rain drop umbrella at the Upper Alpine Clubhouse. Guests staying in cabins in Chalet Village also have access to the clubhouse banquet and meeting rooms (for a fee) for wedding receptions, reunions or other group gatherings.
