Beautiful house with beach view across palm tree tops. All the quiet and privacy of your own place with all the benefits of a beach resort. We loved our family stay here, swinging in hammocks and relaxing, playing games and doing yoga on the deck. Then down to the pool for a dip or the sea for a swim. Stunning white sand beach with great restaurants nearby. Will definitely be back! Thank you Brenda and Brian for sharing your piece of koh Phangan paradise.

Great

We had a great time staying here. The staff at long tail resort where the house is located at the edge of we’re great and long tail resort was a great place for families to stay. Brenda and Brian’s house was fantastic. It had a lovely vibe to it and I loved the high ceiling. The location is placed higher up the hill so you do have to walk for a few minutes to get the beach. I was happy to be staying There which is lovely but also benefiting from longtail resort. Wished I’d stayed there 2 weeks rather than 1!

Tolles Resort-Konzept mit wunderschönem Wohngefühl – aber ein paar Details sollten optimiert werden!Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie einen Aufenthalt im Haus von Brian und Brenda verbracht. Das Haus entsprach im Wesentlichen genau der Beschreibung auf FeWo-direkt. Der Privatkontakt zu den beiden Gastgebern war absolut hervorragend, sie antworteten immer sehr zügig und gaben uns hilfreiche Tipps. Das in der Beschreibung erwähnte Boot konnten wir vor Ort allerdings leider nicht finden.Das Positive: Die Kombination aus der Privatsphäre des eigenen Hauses und der Nutzung der Annehmlichkeiten des Longtail Beach Resorts (Pool, optionales Frühstück) ist ein riesiger Pluspunkt! Die Nähe zum wunderschönen Strand ist klasse. Die Lage auf dem Hügel erfordert wie beschrieben einen steileren Anstieg. Für gehbehinderte Menschen ist das nichts, aber für uns (gesunder 55-jähriger Vater mit Familie) war es absolut problemlos zu bewerkstelligen. Die in der Beschreibung angekündigten Urwald- und Fahrzeuggeräusche haben uns überhaupt nicht gestört – im Gegenteil, wir fanden sie sehr angenehm und es gab uns ein richtig schönes, idyllisches Wohngefühl. Die Küchenutensilien waren für uns ausreichend. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland.1500 Zeichen sind nicht ausreichend!

Super séjour dans cette jolie maison spacieuse qui dispose d'une belle pièce de vie et d'une magnifique terrasse avec vue sur la mer, la végétation et les montagnes. La maison est bien équipée et confortable, et nous avons apprécié son charme et sa position dominante. Elle est entourée de verdure de façon à être isolés des autres logements. Nous avons beaucoup regretté de ne pas avoir prévu d'y rester plus longtemps, d'autant plus que les services proposés par le Resort en-dessous permettent un séjour totalement relax si on le souhaite. Les restaurants de plage sont vraiment bons, la plage est très belle et des balades sont possibles au départ du village.

Traumhaft

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in einer traumhaften Unterkunft, genau wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Die Kommunikation mit Brenda war einfach perfekt. Von der ersten Sekunde an fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. Das Haus liegt am oberen Ende eines Resorts. Den Pool darf man mitbenutzen und die Mitarbeiter dort sind so dermaßen liebevoll, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein absoluter Traumurlaub in einen wunderschönen Haus.

wunderbar geräumiger und luftiger Bungalow

Privater Bungalow auf Resort Gelände, großer Wohnküchenbereich, schöne große Terrasse mit Aussicht. Sehr schöner Strand. Wunderbar für alle, die an einem traumhaften Strand einfach nur chillen, aber auf einen großzügigen Bungalow nicht verzichten möchten.

Tolles Haus mit schöner Terrasse

Abwicklung verlief super. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern vor und während des Aufenthaltes war einwandfrei. Das Personal vom Resort (das Haus ist auf dem Gelände von einem Resort) war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist am Hang, wobei wir den teilweise steilen Weg zum Strand und Restaurant nicht als störend empfunden haben.

Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr nett eingerichtet, einfach und mit allem was man braucht. Super ist, dass einen das nebenan liegende Resort sozusagen mit allem versorgt und sich drum kümmert wenn etwas gebraucht wird. Der Strand ist in ca. 3 Minuten zu erreichen: was man wissen sollte ist, dass es ein kurzes Stück steil begab und demzufolge auf dem Rückweg auch wieder steil bergauf geht. Der Strandabschnitt ist ein Traum.

Maison typique avec vue imprenable sur la baie

La terrasse est très agréable avec vue pleine nature et vue mer, idéale pour les petits déj et repas du soir. Toutes les fenêtres baies sont équipées de moustiquaires. De nombreux hamacs propices au farniente à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. On peut profiter des services du Longtail Beach Resort à quelques mètres : piscine, restau, laverie.... L'intérieur est quelque peu défraichi (rideaux, coussins...) mais tout y est comme le matériel de cuisine (nous avons apprécié notamment le mixer pour se faire d'excellents jus de fruits).

Special place with beautiful view

Very nice and special house, well equipped with hammocks, pillows.. Very nice location, beautiful beach, different restaurants in the village and at the beachside. You can use the resort pool, which is very nice and the stuff is very friendly. The resort restaurant is excellent. The resort stuff is very helpful. We needed them twice and they helped immediately. Our two small children liked to play on the big balcony and we enjoyed the surroundings of the forest.

Traumhaftes Haus mit toller Anbindung an wunderschönes Longtail-Beach-Resort

Das Haus ist wunderschön, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und entspricht dem Eindruck auf den Fotos. Wer zuverlässig ständig WiFi braucht wird Abstriche machen müssen. Durch die Anbindung an das Longtail-Beach-Resort ist jeglicher Komfort gegeben. Dort kann man sehr gut essen und die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr herzlich. Dies ist ein dickes Sonderlob wert. Gegen Ende war sogar der Swimmingpool des Resorts fertig, so dass dieser Komfort nun auch gegeben ist. Es gibt noch einige weitere Restaurants am Strand in unterschiedlicher Qualität. LongtailBeach gehörte unserer Meinung nach zu den Besten. Teilweise war es hilfreich für den Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren, da es entsprechend gut besucht war. Wir haben uns als vierköpfige Familie extrem wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg nach 14 Tagen. Der Strand ist 2min zu Fuß den Berg runter und ist mit der schönste, den wir auf Koh Pan Ghan gesehen haben. Wir würden das Haus absolut weiter empfehlen. Es gibt verschiedene Tourangebote per Boot oder Offroader aber natürlich ist die Insel etwas begrenzt in den Möglichkeiten. Für 14 Tage war es vollkommen ausreichend, wenn man nicht ständig besondere Aktivitäten sucht.

Great place, excellent house, kind service

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is located in a very beautiful place above Longtail Beach Resort with a great view over the beach and the jungle just behind. The house is fully equipped, very cosy, with two large bedrooms and especially a great terrace, where we used to take a rest every day. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, because the food at Longtail Beach Resort was very good. The owners are very kind and we received prompt answers to all our questions and needs. Eine authentische Destination für Koh Phangan !!

Es war unsere siebte Thailandreise, die dritte nach Koh Phangan. Nach unendlicher Suche auf einschlägigen Suchmaschinen im Web, fand ich dieses Angebot und suchte eigentlich nur nach dem "Haken" - ich fand ihn nicht - bis heute! Die Lage, der Preis, die Ausstattung - unschlagbar! Bei 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern wird das Angebot an "bezahlbaren" Unterkünften schnell sehr schmal auf Phangan. Das Haus liegt erhaben über der Thong Nai Pan Bucht mit Blick zum Meer. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als zweckmäßig, es fehlt an nichts. Das Bad ist "westlicher Standard". Die Küche haben wir nie benutzt, da das Essen im Longtail Resort sehr gut und preiswert ist, auch andere Restaurants haben viel zu bieten. Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten p. eMail alle wichtigen Info´s wie Reisetipps oder Fährzeiten parat. Die Belegschaft vom Longtail Resort erwies sich als zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit. Dieses Objekt kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, der Preis ist wie schon erwähnt unschlagbar!

Pure Entspannung

ruhig gelegener Bungalow auf dem Grundstück des Longtailbeachresorts, hier bekommt man den Schlüssel und der Bungalow wird wie die anderen im Resort alle 3 Tage gereinigt. Der Bungalow ist aus Holz und ist auf Entspannung ausgelegt, zu gibt es innen wie aussen Hängematten, wer kochen will findet eine komplette Küche und einen großen Kühlschrank, wir haben immer im Longtailbeachresort gegessen. Einmal hatten wir Stromausfall, da ist man in einem Privathaus normalerweise aufgeschmissen, nicht aber hier, da der Bungalow am Notstromagregat des Resorts hängt. Ende November, Anfang Dezember ist es in Thong Nai Pan Yai sehr ruhig, die meisten Restaurants und Resorts haben zu und der Strand wird durch die vielen Wellen sehr klein bzw ist komplett überspült, wer aber nur entspannen will, ist auch in dieser Zeit richtig hier.

Like in Paradise

We are a family with two kids and had a two-week stay at the Longtail Beach House in April/May 2012. The house was perfect for us! It is clean and lovely furnished, spacious, it has all you need for a nice stay. Cleaning staff very friendly, they also help you organize a trip by car or boat. Great view and just a minute walk to the beach. There a lot of nice restaurants and bars along the beach. We really recommend this house to everybody.

Best place to rent on the whole beach!

We spent almost one month in this very special house, which immediately was a home for us! Everything turned out to be exactly like described and seen on the pictures. The staff of Longtail beach resort was very friendly and helpful, the location is unique - close to the beach, next to the main road but still very calm and hidden. The house was super clean upon arrival, we enjoyed the unique view during day time and terrasse in the evenings. We rent a motorbike with which the three of us rode to the next beach or did the groceries at nearby 7/11. The beach is like in paradise although the sea was quite flat most times (which was ideal for our daughter). A great variety of restaurants along the beach and in the little town in walking-distance. Tours by boat or taxi could easily be arranged. The perfect hideaway for couples or small families looking for something special and typical with alot of comfort! We hope to come back some day ....
