Our 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Luxury Cabin atop Bear Mountain. Enjoyable sunsets off the covered porch. Stay home and read a book in front of the fireplace, relax in the hot tub or play an exciting game of pool in the gameroom. Intimate enough for a honeymoon yet able to accommodate 4 people.
Enjoy the tranquil relaxing breeze from our porch in the beautiful Smoky Mountains setting. Let our cabin transport you from the every-day hustle and bustle to a place where you may refresh and renew, and then have time to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, antique malls, craft fairs or shop in Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge, or Gatlinburg.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our cabin as much as we do.

Connor F writes: Our stay at Nature’s Romance was everything we asked for and more. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. Jill was very helpful with answering all of our questions before, during, and after our visit. She also gave us great recommendations of things to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would highly recommend booking a stay at this cabin. It was perfectly secluded and the hot tub on the deck was a great touch. The very comfortable king-sized bed was also great after a long day of walking around town. Thank you again to Jill and her family for great hospitality and a relaxing vacation.

The overall of the stay was good! There was some issues. The WiFi wasn’t the best. The outside lights on the cabin did not work. A few outs didn’t work on the inside. The couch that let was listed as one of the beds was very dirty with dirty and dog hair and things all over it so the person decided to just sleep on the couch itself. At check -out there was a little issue. I had plugged my charger into a plug that didn’t work unfortunately and my phone ended up not charging and died over the night and my alarm did not go off and the housekeeper got very ugly with me and my mother. My mother told the housekeeper about the couch and she just looked at her and walked off. The owner messaged me being very rude about check out which I explained to her the outlet didn’t work and my phone did not charge over night and that was my alarm. I apologized to both of them over and over and they both continued to be rude. We let the housekeeper in and let her start cleaning so she wouldn’t be late and all she did was slam stuff and told me she didn’t care if we was ready to clean the bedroom or bathroom she was coming in there to do it regardless. My mom was changing clothes and the housekeeper came in the bathroom with her. No respect at all. Like I said stay was good till checkout. I really didn’t even give her a hard time about everything not working. We just want to have a relaxing week over Christmas.

The cabin was great, we enjoyed the hot tub and view, we didnt mind the gravel driveway up to the cabin but would've like to known that the parking area was on a steep embankment where we had to put it in 4x4 everytime to get up there to park and that its not real truck friendly to turn around which we was in a 1ton pickup, also the master bed was super stiff for us but we did enjoy our stay still

Very clean! No bugs! Sheets should be made for a deep mattress- they wouldn't stay on! Loved the fireplace heater. Would come again!

Nice cabin for two way up in the mountains near the top of a climbing road it is 20 or 30 minutes from most sites which is peaceful however we happened to have neighbors who were louder than us and spent a lot of time outside

Birthday/holiday week get away

We had a really relaxing week. Only left the cabin once. Watched lots of movies and enjoyed the peace of the cabin. Only issue was a short cable outage on Saturday morning. Jill was very responsive and got us back up quickly. Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking supplies you could need. Thank you Jill for sharing your place with us.

Honeymoon Hideaway

This is a gorgeous cabin for a honeymoon vacation. The view from the deck is breathtaking from the early morning mountain mist to the vibrant sunsets at night. It’s a secluded location with quite a bit of privacy despite two cabins not far from the property. This driveway is steep without a flat spot to turn around, however it’s not impossible! While my 4WD Ford Escape made it just fine, we did make sure to use the parking brake and chocked the wheels.every time we parked. Overall cleanliness of the property was good. I can tell it had been spot cleaned from being used recently, but it was tidy and all the linens were fresh. During our trip a severe thunderstorm knocked out the power to the cabin, however a quick response to our text was sent letting us know the electric company had been notified and would be sending someone out. Power was restored expeditiously. 10/10 my husband and I would rebook. Jill was fabulous to communicate with. We needed a pet friendly rental due to our 13 yo senior pit mix requiring daily medication for his heart condition and terminal cancer, I can’t thank Jill enough for welcoming us and Dozer with open arms. As a couple who prefers to be out away from the crowds this is a must see. We will certainly be back.

Perfect getaway

This cabin was perfect for my wife and i. Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable with an exception to the pillows. We were about 20 to 25 minutes from pigeon forge, gatlinburg, and Sevierville which was not a bad drive. YES, it is a kong, windy road to get to the cabin but we were perfectly fine with it as we are country folk as well 😄. Hot tub was nice and clean, cabin was clean, only wish there was a fire pit for evening fires otherwise a great place and we highly recommend.

Beautiful views and fun

This little cabin on top of the mountain was cozy for my husband, dogs and me! I liked the seclusion from the city. The hottub and mountain views were relaxing even if its hot outside. One issue we had was the travel up to the cabin. If you have a truck or suv you will be fine. If you have a 4 door sedan like me....just drive slow and take your time. Overall our stay was worth it.

Serenity Getaway

My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary at Nature's Romance and we are not sorry. The cabin was as advertised in the pictures. Location is fantastic as it is 30 min from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If you are looking for peace an quiet to just reconnect or recharge this is definitely the place for you. You are secluded up in the mountain with beautiful views and nature. We really enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI, do not forget to read through the instructions sent by the host before you get there. We received detailed instructions in June when we booked but our trip was in August, if you are like me and over excited and forget to recheck those instructions you will get lost, some people right? We were able to contact Jill our host who was helpful even though she was annoyed we got lost. Our host stressed following the signs to the cabin yet they were barely visible so I would suggest following the signs for Old Glory they will get you to Nature's Romance. All in all once we got the hang of it all we were just fine. Cabin is fabulous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet surroundings with beautiful sunset views from the back deck. We even got to experience a bear sighting near the cabin. Owners were very helpful making sure we were comfortable with the terrain going up the mountain to the cabin. Perfect mountain getaway!

Peaceful & Relaxing

Absolutely perfect week visiting Gatlinburg for our yearly tradition. However, rather than the usual hotel, we decided to finally try a cabin and will continue to do so now after our perfect stay at Jill’s beautiful property Nature’s Romance! I received a call from Jill literally within minutes of booking our trip in which she was very helpful with explaining everything such as the cabin contract, guidelines, and etc. I will be the first to admit that after reading some of the reviews about the steep roads and driveway to the cabin, I was a bit nervous so we did arrive on our first day to the cabin in daylight as Jill clearly explains in all of her communication which definitely made it easier to navigate and get a feel for the roads/driveway. Drive slowly and take your time, it’s as simple as that and you’ll be just fine. After that first drive up to the cabin, we came back well after dark every night and were just fine. As far as the cabin is concerned, absolutely perfect. We had everything that we needed as far as amenities, washer/dryer, coffee maker, towels, blankets, you name it. The cabin itself had a very comfortable layout and very clean. Also, the hot tub and everything else in the cabin worked just fine and we did not have a single issue all week. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay, this is where you want to be!

We had a great stay. The floors could have been cleaner. Our feet/socks were filthy all the time. But other than that everything was great. Everything as host stated and pretty secluded. We would definitely stay again.

Nature’s Romance Hideaway wonderful

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay. The sunsets from the Hot Tub were epic, especially after a day of hiking.
