Beautiful property, right on the pond and a short drive to Lake George. We had a great time using the canoe, paddle board and pedal boat. The house is very clean and the host is very helpful and responsive. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful location, Quiet and Peaceful. A Rustic, but also warm and cozy cabin We enjoyed the fire pit and canoe. We were able to watch a lot of wildlife including a couple of busy beavers. A Perfect location for our Labrador Retriever. Also great for enjoying the fall foliage. The Host Linda was extremely accommodating and met us at the house to answer questions w/o being imposing. A new propane grill is needed, but we were able to use one that they substituted that worked well. A 10/10 , we hope to return next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's a beautiful home with an old school cabin vibe along with all the modern essential needed for a comfortable stay. The highlights for us were the screened in porch which was perfect for morning coffee or a glad of wine in the evening while overlooking the beautiful pond. We also appreciated all the watercraft options, and all had some fun getting out on the water. Linda and John were great hosts, who clearly love their property, it's very well taken care of. We can't wait to come back for some more serenity.

This is my second year renting this property. Linda and John are very accommodating hosts. My five grandchildren enjoyed the waterfront area with all of the paddle boards and large deck area. We really enjoyed the large front deck. There are plenty of deck, chairs and room for the two cabins

We love hosting you and your family! It's wonderful to see the kids having so much fun in the water! And I agree, everyone loves the large screened-in porch, including us 😀 Did you see that fish the boy in the cottage caught? I heard those kids loved hanging out at the waterfront with your grandkids, bonus!

We had a lovely time with our dogs in this peaceful cabin. The views are beautiful. The owners were very responsive and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed.

They thought of everything! What a treat it was to vacation at a house that has all that you need.The view was spectacular from both the screened porch and the dock! The SUPs were so much fun to use on the water. We enjoyed trying out the pedal boat and canoe too! The water was easy to get into, and the sandy bottom was clear to see from the dock. The hosts were lovely and very responsive. The house was clean and cozy. So happy we stayed here! I definitely recommend!

If you are seeking the quintessential ADK getaway without the jet skis and crowds - this is the place! Cozy clean cabin home authentic to the land with amazing views for morning coffee and evening drinks. We experienced quiet, peaceful surroundings with only the sounds of Hummingbirds buzzing by, bullfrogs and large fish jumping. 15 minutes to Lake George attractions; though rte 149 has anything you need on it- farm markets, ice cream stands and mini golf without the LG lines. Be sure to take the paddleboat out or bring an inflatable tube to mosey around in! Hosts Bill and Linda are very nice and accommodating. We are super relaxed from our 3 night stay here :)

We were so glad we got a chance to meet you and your family. Don't forget the canoe and SUPs as well! I, personally, prefer snapping on one of the seats and using a SUP like an open kayak. They glide like silk around the lake! We certainly hope to see you again!

Our family had a great time! What a beautiful setting-so scenic and serene on the lake. The hosts were very nice and welcoming, the house was very cute and very clean-we loved the screened in porch. We look forward to visiting again : )

Linda was a Great host and wonderful property. Cute cozy cabin. My family really enjoyed the property. They supplied everything we needed for an amazing vacation. Location is quiet and beautiful. We loved fishing off the dock and the supplied boats.

Linda was an incredible host, very smooth check in process and beautiful location. It is quite dark at night so if you are arriving would recommend coming during the day!

Rustic and quirky log cabin next to the pond. Excellent communication with the hosts. Pictures are representative of the property, it is older, but has everything that you need. Host have also provided thoughtful touches such as s’mores fixings to use at the terrific campfire and dog treats and dog towels for when your pet finally gets out of the lake! We spent a ton of time inside the screened in porch, enjoying that nice space and the beauty of the lake.

This property and location is amazing. Close enough to everything but far enough away that it was sooooo quiet. Loved every minute of it!!!! Manager of property was awesome.

Great weekend at the camp

We had a great long weekend, the cabin is rustic as described but comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the big screened porch and easy access to the pond, where we spent most of our time. Nice fire pit too!

I'm so happy to hear what a good time you had! That huge screened-in porch is one of my favorites also. There's not much that relaxes me more than time spent sitting in a rocking chair enjoying the hummingbirds and the view of the pond. I hope you visit again!

Great family getaway

We stayed at the cabin this summer with our two kids and our dog and had a great time. The boys loved the paddle boards and swimming in the pond. The location is quaint but close enough to Lake George or Fort Ann to go out for dinner after enjoying some peace and quiet all day. The cabin is well stocked with everything you’d need to make a meal - honestly probably the best equipped rental property we’ve stayed in.

Great rustic cabin

Perfect spot. Right on the lake with a great dock for fishing/relaxing. Very quiet. The cabin is definitely old (not overly modernized) but I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unwind and still he able to make short jaunts to Lake George or Vermont.

Yup! This cabin was built and used as a vacation rental in the 1930s until 1954, definitely rustic and unique with an open outdoorsy feeling. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and the pond and all we have to offer. We look forward to you coming back again!

Relaxing and fun week

The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The screened porch had a lovely view of the pond, fun seating choices, and a large table for meals and games. We enjoyed the paddle boards, pedal boat and canoe. The dock also had many chairs for lounging and enjoying the view. We would definitely return if ever in the area!
