Remote workers welcome! Dog friendly.
Enjoy a relaxing time on a quiet 58-acre lake in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Play in the pedal boat, canoe or on one of the Stand-Up Paddleboards, swim or fish. You can even use the paddleboards like open kayaks with the detachable seats.
Spend an evening around the campfire eating S’mores, telling ghost stories and making memories.
This unique property was actually built and used as a vacation rental in the 1930s until 1954.
The soothing atmosphere of the large screened-in porch is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or while gathered around with family and friends over dinner while enjoying the beautiful views of Copeland Pond. Take in the views of the lake and the mountains while cuddled in one of the rocking chairs, or just grab a book and relax.

This is a smoke-free property. The dock, watercraft and firepit are shared with the cottage next door.

We had a lovely time with our dogs in this peaceful cabin. The views are beautiful. The owners were very responsive and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed.

Linda was an incredible host, very smooth check in process and beautiful location. It is quite dark at night so if you are arriving would recommend coming during the day!

Our family had a great time! What a beautiful setting-so scenic and serene on the lake. The hosts were very nice and welcoming, the house was very cute and very clean-we loved the screened in porch. We look forward to visiting again : )

Linda was a Great host and wonderful property. Cute cozy cabin. My family really enjoyed the property. They supplied everything we needed for an amazing vacation. Location is quiet and beautiful. We loved fishing off the dock and the supplied boats.

Great family vacation

This property and location is amazing. Close enough to everything but far enough away that it was sooooo quiet. Loved every minute of it!!!! Manager of property was awesome.

Great weekend at the camp

We had a great long weekend, the cabin is rustic as described but comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the big screened porch and easy access to the pond, where we spent most of our time. Nice fire pit too!

I'm so happy to hear what a good time you had! That huge screened-in porch is one of my favorites also. There's not much that relaxes me more than time spent sitting in a rocking chair enjoying the hummingbirds and the view of the pond. I hope you visit again!

I liked the set up of the cabin, it was clean and homey and so many of the little things were made available such as coffee, utensils. It was tranquil and serene.

Relaxing and fun week

The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The screened porch had a lovely view of the pond, fun seating choices, and a large table for meals and games. We enjoyed the paddle boards, pedal boat and canoe. The dock also had many chairs for lounging and enjoying the view. We would definitely return if ever in the area!

Great family getaway

We stayed at the cabin this summer with our two kids and our dog and had a great time. The boys loved the paddle boards and swimming in the pond. The location is quaint but close enough to Lake George or Fort Ann to go out for dinner after enjoying some peace and quiet all day. The cabin is well stocked with everything you’d need to make a meal - honestly probably the best equipped rental property we’ve stayed in.

If you are thinking of renting a charming authentic Adirondack cabin on a quiet pond this place is perfect - better than advertised as a matter of fact. We read, swam, cooked, and hiked. It was idyllic, rustic without being too remote to run into town for groceries. Clean and well-maintained by the hosts without sacrificing the magic. The hosts were available but totally unobtrusive. It was exactly what we had hoped for.

Great rustic cabin

Perfect spot. Right on the lake with a great dock for fishing/relaxing. Very quiet. The cabin is definitely old (not overly modernized) but I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unwind and still he able to make short jaunts to Lake George or Vermont.

Yup! This cabin was built and used as a vacation rental in the 1930s until 1954, definitely rustic and unique with an open outdoorsy feeling. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and the pond and all we have to offer. We look forward to you coming back again!

Cabin in the woods near Lake George

We found this family-friendly and dog-friendly private cabin for a stay that felt like we were in the woods but close to everything the Lake George area has to offer. Linda was super friendly and helpful. The huge screened-in porch and large family room were perfect! Highly recommend!

Relaxing getway

Only stayed 2 nights with my daughter and her dog. We needed a quick, quiet getaway. Great spot very quiet and relaxing. Cabin was perfect for our quick trip. The hosts provide everything you need inside and out. Could have sat on the porch for the entire time enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Thank you for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise.

On Copeland Pond

If childhood memories of warm summer days spent swimming & evenings watching the stars reflection dance on the water @ your family camp bring a feeling of comfort & nostalgia, then this is the place to stay. Four days in August 2024

We enjoyed our stay at Copeland Pond very much. The owners do a super job maintaining the property. Supplied with all the basics for comfort and fun. Even the hummingbird feeder was full when we arrived. Nice quiet large pond. Good birding, and fishing right off the dock. Highly recommended!

Lake life is the good life

Great stay at Linda’s camp! It was great having access to the water vessels off a very nice dock to relax on. We fished, we swam, and floated around the lake a lot. The cabin was nicely appointed and rustic as described. It should be noted that you share the outside space with another house so your quietness will depend on your neighbors.

A Classic Lakeside Camp

Our first all-family vacation together in the north country was a great success all around. Our hosts Linda and John could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Just the right amenities, a quiet setting on Copeland Pond near Lake George, and a throwback to the summer camps of long ago. We were five adults, one ten year-old, and THREE dogs, and everyone had room to breathe. Looking forward to returning soon!

This cabin is a hidden gem in the Lake George area. Our family of four and a dog had a lovely stay. The inside was spacious and well-equipped. (The water pressure in the shower was not the greatest, but as expected out in the woods.) The screened-in porch was wonderful and offered a gorgeous view of the outdoors. The dock with water access was the icing on the cake. The pond was suitable for swimming, fishing, and using the included water craft. Communication with the owners was always prompt and pleasant. Lake George, Glens Falls, and attractions further west and north were easily accessible. Highly recommend this rental!

Thanks Christina! We loved meeting you and Alex, and your kids are both charmers! LOL! Too bad you didn't tell us about the shower. We just replaced that shower head this afternoon when the next family told us about the poor water flow. We certainly hope to host you and your family again!
