River Rock at Mount Mitchell mountain views

A magnificent home for all seasons. Magnificent views of Mount Mitchell from the back porch. Picture windows throughout the house. Whether you are looking for a clean-air away from the city for your family, or a remote office, this is the perfect place. You won`t want to leave!
If the dates you are wanting are not available please visit our sister home, Riverrun at Mount Mitchell. The homes can also be rented together for large groups or multiple families.

RiverRock is in a private, gated community called RiverRun- across from Mount Mitchell Golf Course. Within Riverrun there are 6 homes. We also own the home next to RiverRock. The 2 homes can accomodate 20+ people if rented together.
There are hiking trails very near our home including trails that start at Black Mountain Campground, just 5-10 minute drive.
There are also many waterfalls near by, the closest is Roaring Fork, which is 2 minute drive away, then a 1/2 easy hike. Also nearby is Crab Tree Falls. Its a 5 minute drive up to the Blue Ridge parkway, then 4 miles on the parkway to the trail head.
***When driving out of the property, keep to the right of the road on the last corner so you activate the sensor and the gate opens.
No smoking or vaping inside the home or around the property

Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning fees.

No burning of candles or incense in or around the property

No parties, events, or large gatherings.

Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
Please be mindful of neighbors and outdoor noise, especially on decks and patios.

The number of guests must match the reservation.
Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.

This property is strictly no pets. No pets of any kind are not permitted on the premises at any time.

If evidence of a pet is found (including but not limited to pet hair, odor, stains, damage, or noise complaints), the guest will be charged a $500 violation fee, plus any additional cleaning, deodorization, or damage repair costs incurred

Report any damage or issues immediately so we can address them quickly.

Furniture should not be moved without permission.

No illegal activity of any kind on the property.

This includes illegal substances, weapons, or unsafe behavior.

Fireplace / Fire Pit
Never leave fires unattended.

Do not burn trash or unapproved materials.

Guests assume responsibility for personal safety.

Children must be supervised at all times.
