Our faves: Mustang Island, Port Aransas, Hamilton Pool (reservations 90 days out and go FAST), Blanco State Park (a must for the family with kids, and without), Jacobs Well (reservations open 90 days out and also go fast!)

Entertainment at a bit of a longer drive for those with more time/longer stays, well worth it!

Please note there is construction on Rocket Lane, which is the main road to the closest entrance/exit to the neighborhood from the house. The neighborhood does have another entrance/exit. Construction will not be an issue getting to the house as the one way traffic is in the direction leading in, but it will add 3-4 minutes when leaving the house, and you'll have to either take Rocket Lane South to use the detour, or go through the neighborhood to use the other neighborhood entrance/exit. Construction was set to be completed this Summer, but there have been delays. Please let me know if you have any questions.
