This popular beach rental boasts a prime central location on Dauphin Island, putting you close to all restaurants and island activities. The open floor plan features generous front and back decks offering Gulf views, a newly renovated and fully stocked chef’s kitchen, breakfast bar with stools, and a roomy dining and living area. There are 4 beautiful bedrooms, each with its own private vanity area and Jack and Jill-style bathrooms. There is also a half bathroom off the kitchen & living area. High-speed Wi-Fi and a small work desk are available in one of the bedrooms if you need to do a little work while there. Every bed is outfitted with fresh, comfortable linens, and each room includes its own flat-screen TV. If you travel with your pets, experience the best of pet-friendly comfort in this impeccably clean, well-maintained, and spacious home. Enjoy a fenced dog area with direct access from the expansive back decks (covered area and uncovered sun deck with loungers). No need to get dressed just to let your pet out! Below the house, you’ll find a charcoal grill, outdoor hot/cold shower, fish cleaning station, and plenty of covered parking. Best of all, you’re just steps from the beach—either via a private back easement through the sand or a short stroll down the street. Dauphin Island, stretching approximately 17 miles, is a peaceful retreat and a true paradise for nature lovers. The dog-friendly beach features soft white sand and ample uncrowded beaches for relaxing in the sun. Great place - so close to the beach! Make sure you bring groceries including coffee. We had a problem with coffee maker but was able to easily communicate with owner.

This was our second stay at Chill Out, and we love it just as much as the first time. The location is peaceful, quiet, and truly relaxing. It’s especially great for traveling with dogs. The fenced yard is a perfect size and made the trip so much more stress-free. Our dog was happy the whole stay. The beach is just steps away, and we loved taking morning and afternoon walks along the shore. My husband enjoyed fishing right from the beach. Loved watching the sunrise from the front porch, then spending afternoons on the back deck or the covered porch, taking in the breeze. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, and the beds and couches are very comfortable. We also really appreciate the thoughtful extras, like the shelf of dog towels and blankets in the laundry closet - such a nice touch for pet owners.We picked up fresh shrimp from Skinner's Seafood and enjoyed Dockside Seafood Restaurant, which made the trip even better. This place has become one of our favorite spots, and we can’t wait to come back.

Great stay

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and the host was very welcoming at check in. The kitchen was well stocked and super organized, which we loved! Friendly neighbors and short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!

This property was gorgeous! Very clean, the porches were fantastic, and our pups loved the fences in back yard! The beach is a short walk away and you even have a small view of it from the back deck. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

Really great trip

We had a really great stay at Chill Out. It was the perfect option for our family trip. Definitely would stay here again. Host was very attentive and communicative. House has everything you could need and a great location.

Beautiful beaches, great house, quiet, peaceful, dog-friendly - we can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at Chill Out. We have 2 setters, and the dog yard was perfect and low-stress. The dogs loved watching the birds. The kitchen is great, and the area is quiet and peaceful. It's an easy few steps to the beach. We can't wait to go back.

Great family stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beach house on Dauphin Island, and it was nothing short of amazing!The beach was just steps away with gulf views from the deck. The host provided everything we needed for the week besides the groceries. Dauphin Island is very dog friendly and the host made it so easy for us to bring our whole family. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations for things to do on the island. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return. I would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation.

Great rental in a great area

We were very pleased with our stay here. The owner had stellar communication and the property was great. We ended up having 9 adults, 2 kids and our senior dog. The island and rental were very dog friendly and the gate on the deck was super helpful. We loved the ocean views from the back deck and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve needed for cooking. We would recommend this rental to anyone but especially those traveling with families and/or dogs.

Chill Out

Everything was great, short walk to the beach. The only problem we had was locking the back door. Lock needs to be adjusted or replaced. It was a nice house and I would stay there again.

Best Vacation

The host was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and she had sweet rolls delivered to us for breakfast. The house was clean and had everything you would need for a fabulous vacation. You literally go out the door and take a few steps and you are at the beach. The decor is beautiful inside the home. Everything is labeled For you. She was a joy to work with!! Fantastic host.You will not be disappointed and I want to rent this place every year going forward.

Everything was great overall! The home is very nice and a quick walk to the beach. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great for cooking. There are a few things that were not disclosed by the owners— there is a new home that was built so close to this property that you can almost reach out and touch it from the back deck. This home also blocks most of the view of the water. There are also cameras on the front and back porches. This was alarming to me and the other guests as we are mostly women who did not feel comfortable sunbathing while on camera. Legally, this has to be disclosed by owners and it was not. Aside from those two notes, I highly recommend this property and Dauphin Island in general!
