Welcome to our Finger Lakes retreat.

Watch the sun rise over Lady Seneca from the wall of windows at the front of the house and enjoy a glass of local wine and the stunning sunsets from the back. Located across the street from Ravines Vineyards, 5 min from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and less than 2 miles from the lake, this house is perfectly situated for whatever kind of getaway you're looking for. From hiking Watkins Glen State Park to see the waterfalls to hitting Bristol Aerial Adventures with the kids to heading in to downtown Geneva for a one-of-a-kind dinner at FLX Table, there is no shortage of things to do and you are right in the middle of all of it at Sunrise Over Seneca.

This house is perfect for families, girls weekends, wedding parties, or just a weekend getaway. With a huge eat-in kitchen and large outdoor patio, it makes it easy to accommodate a group. Leave the doors open and enjoy the breeze...and the view. The wine barrel bistro table is the perfect place for a quiet morning coffee, and the bedrooms are designed for a "comfy cozy" stay. Traveling with your fur babies? No problem! Our back acre is fenced in, and we invite up to two of your furry friends to stay with you.

We strive to make your time with us memorable - from recommendations to reservations - if we can help, we will!

The property is lovely. The house is spacious. The kitchen is well appointed enough for basics. The town is so close for shopping and basic needs. We were treated to the first snow of the season when we were there. Go to Kindred Fare. The restaurant is a must try!The shower in the master bedroom isn’t as powerful as the one in the hallway. But this place is very cozy.

This is a nice house on a beautiful property with great views. It is well stocked and the location is convenient to Geneva and to visiting other towns like Auburn and Skaneateles. The only issue we had was with cleanliness. For the most part the house was clean - no problem with bathrooms or bedrooms - but the windows were incredibly dirty and the screens were dusty and filled with cobwebs. The beautiful views from the living room and kitchen were ruined because of this. In the kitchen, the appliances were not clean. I would suggest finding a new cleaning service which includes window cleaning and perhaps have someone regularly inspect the place to be sure it is clean. If these things were remedied, I would have no problem recommending this house to travelers.

Great spacious house. Beautiful view. Great location to visit wineries and restaurants. Did not bring our dogs but there is a fantastic fenced yard for dogs.

This was a wonderful retreat! I could have sat in the Adorandac chairs for a week! My dog loved the back yard, I got great sleep, so peaceful.

Great location with privacy

Comfortable home with a short drive to downtown Geneva - but situated in a rural spot with lovely views and privacy - the short distance to Hobart William Smith made the weekend back and forth from campus so convenient and relaxing -The dogs loved the large, well fenced back yard!

Great place to stay!

Location was very easy to get to, property was lovely and very clean! Our dogs loved the backyard to run in, too! Beautiful views as well. Property management was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend and will stay again if ever in the area in the future!

Stunning Views, beautiful property

Our hosts were wonderful, and I cannot thank them enough for sharing their beautiful property with me and my family. The surrounding area is so pretty with amenities super close by car. The back garden made for a stress free area for my grandpups. Would highly recommend. The best place to stay !!

We had a wonderful time at this property! The house was perfect, we were extremely comfortable, we had everything we needed, and we had soooo much space. The property and the views from the front and back are to die for. We woke up every morning happy just by looking out the windows. We had wonderful family breakfasts and dinners with our grown children in the kitchen, we played games, and we made very special memories. This was our first trip like this with our dog and she loved it. She had so much fun exploring. The house is in a perfect location. We were close to wineries, breweries, restaurants, marinas, and state parks. Jess and Pat are absolutely wonderful hosts. They are extremely kind, thoughtful, welcoming, and friendly. They thought of everything that would make our stay the best it could be . If you are planning a trip to the Finger Lakes, stay at this property. You will not be disappointed! It has my highest recommendation! Thank you, Jess and Pat, for a wonderful and memorable vacation!!

Girls getaway

Everything was spot on from the listing! We were so happy with the location and cleanliness of the property. We were looking for a quiet weekend with wine tasting of course, but it was a great house to come back to and relax and read. Thanks to the hosts for creating a welcoming and truly a nice space for guests.

Charming home overlooking the valley and Seneca Lake

A very comfortable home, with plenty of room and a great location to Geneva, the finger lakes, craft brewers and vineyards. The hosts made our stay relaxing and pleasant. The home was clean, fresh and very bright. I expect to visit again.

Exceptional Stay in Geneva – Highly Recommend!

This spacious one-story home, in the heart of seneca lake wine country, was perfect. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket featuring a bottle of local wine, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dog, and the vineyard/lake views from the front patio were stunning. The house had everything we needed for a family dinner, and the hosts kindly accommodated our early check-in request. The hosts also recommended Scout Winery for a wine tasting and Taughannock Falls for a hike, which were both fantastic. Scout Winery had great Chardonnays and Rosés, and the Taughannock Falls hike was an easy two-mile round trip to a stunning waterfall. During our stay, we also enjoyed watching my nephew play baseball for the Newark Pilots—which we highly recommend as an inexpensive, family fun activity. We also hiked Watkins Glen, known for its scenic trail with numerous stairs and waterfalls, and enjoyed walking and shopping in downtown Watkins Glen. Additionally, we took a leisurely walk around Seneca Lake and a boat ride from the visitors' center. We also visited Brewery Ardennes, which had delicious beer, nice outdoor seating, and a charming French bulldog theme. We also made a stop at War Horse Brewing, a favorite with its cool complex of brewery and winery and numerous places to sit and relax. Overall, this truly special home offered comfort, convenience, and beautiful surroundings, making for an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Long Weekend

Property was absolutely perfect for our needs. Location was just outside Geneva in the country. Very quiet and a great view across Seneca Lake. Travel to Keuka Lake and Canandaigua easy beautiful rides. Toured the area on Motorcycles in the morning and early afternoon and then went by car for wine tasting later in the day. Jess and Pat were wonderful hosts. Gave suggestions for places to visit and to eat. Responded quickly to confirm our reservation and to answer a couple of questions before arrival.

Queen of Wine trail

We enjoyed the serenity and tranquility of this house a lot during our 3 nights stay. It’s right in the heart of the wine country. Very private and very beautiful. Pat and Jess were extremely communicative throughout the booking and check in process.

Family Visit

Beautiful, large property. Set far back from the road and private on all sides. Newly fenced back yard ideal for dogs. Quick 5 min drive to stores, restaurants, etc. Our corgis loved the floor length windows. Saw rainbows over the lake, plus sunrises and sunsets. Stayed 7 nights while visiting family.

Nice little ranch with a MCM vibe. Comfortable beds, clean, large front yard for the dog who likes to play ball, great location close to Geneva and Seneca Lake wineries. Will rent again when in the area.

Hi there! We're the Greenwoods, and we're so excited you decided to stay with us! As a military family, we've traveled all over, but fell in love with the Finger Lakes and are hoping to eventually make this our permanent home. We love the outdoors - hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, running, biking, diving - you name it, and at least one of us has done it! We have doggos and kiddos and know how crazy it is to travel with both. We love to host and are happy to share our home away from home with you.

We also love the proximity to the lake, to Geneva and Watkins Glen, and to the growing quality in the wine, beer, and spirits industry here. It's an amazing place to explore!
