Escape the hectic world to Peyton's Patio Homes on beautiful Lake Weir. Whether your visit is for work or play, Peyton’s Patio Homes is the perfect place for your next getaway. We are located 10 minutes from The Villages, approx. 1 hour south of Gainesville and 1 hour north of Orlando attractions.
Our lake front cottage is located on beautiful Lake Weir. We have a boat slip as well as a dock that are available for launching your watercraft, fishing or viewing the breath taking sunsets. Carney Island offers public boat launch and is only a short distance away. Eaton's Beach and Gator Joes Restaurant's are accessible by boat or land.

Our lake front cottage is located on beautiful Lake Weir. We have a boat slip as well as a dock that are available for launching your watercraft, fishing or viewing the breath taking sunsets. Carney Island offers public boat launch and is only a short distance away. Eaton's Beach and Gator Joes Restaurant's are accessible by boat or land.

Our cottage offers 3 fully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen with appliances along with a large indoor and outdoor living spaces. The indoor living space is furnished with a large comfy couch while the outdoor living space offers a table for dining along with a screened pool, fire pit and an open air lounge area on the dock. Full on-site laundry with detergents is available for our guests stay.

We allow small group family and friends gatherings however we can not allow large events in our neighborhood. Please contact us prior to booking your stay to discuss your small gathering particulars.

We had such a relaxing time at the lake house. The fishing from the dock was good! The house is so nice! Hosts were quick to respond to questions. Great proximity to coffee shop and other fun things. We will return and recommend this amazing place! Thank you!

We enjoyed being inside the house which was roomy and comfortable. The outside areas, porch, pool and covered dock were so nice for enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. Very nice and relaxing!! Great time!!

Much needed escape!

My husband and I selected this property to take my parents on vacation with us. We celebrated a milestone birthday for my mom while we were there, spent every day in the pool while enjoying the beautiful and serene lake views, and were able to secure our boat alongside the dock for easy access to boat rides and fishing. We really enjoyed our time!

Peyton's Place was a nice place to stay and explore Florida.

Enjoyed the house, plenty of room for the family, communication was good, and would stay here again. Neighborhood was quiet with friendly folks that waived when they saw us outside or driving down the street.

Overall the property is very well kept. It would be great if the grass was cleaned out in the shallow area so that we could swim there. Communication with the owner was very quick and she is very friendly.

The house has a spacious feel, is beautifully decorated, very clean, and they have thought of everything you need for a great stay! They even have directions of how to use the lights,tv, etc. The book with a list of places to eat was also very helpful!The weather was turning on the cold side at night and the owner quickly responded to our request to check the pool heater to ensure it warmed up!My husband noted the great smelling towels which was a nice touch!We fished from the dock and my husband caught several nice bass! The rest of us struggled with getting caught in the grass and lilly pads, which maybe that vegetation dies back in the fall. While on the dock we also enjoyed the beautiful lake views, various birds, and even a turtle. We would highly recommend vacationing at this home!

Property layout was great. Enjoyed the patio and pool area. Early mornings on the dock sunning and fishing too. Kitchen was well stocked. Stephanie was quick with responses and reminders. Hope to visit again

Quiet Getaway

Really comfortable house with lake access. Great pool and in a quiet neighborhood. House is good for small family with restaurants and shopping close. DoorDash delivers here too!

Great lake house.

The house was very well equipped. The lanai was a great place to relax. I enjoyed my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view. Would stay there again.

Beautiful home

We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was beautiful. The home is beautifully decorated but most of our time was spent outside in the screened in porch. Beautiful view of the lake and bird island. I’ve stayed at quite a few Vrbo but this one tops them all. Everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom was there. Will definitely be back next year.

Wonderful Weekend at Lake Weir

Beautiful lake view! Lovely, comfortable and well-appointed home with a fabulous screened and covered porch (it rained a good bit that weekend) and pool! Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Weekend

We had the best time and spent the majority in the water. The kids loved the pool! We also took a pontoon ride on the lake and swam at the sand bar. A great time was had by all!

#7 Strong Annual Trip

Adorable house with beautiful view of Lake Weir. Perfect for myself & six of my cousins for our annual trip. Not much of a 'beach', & too many weeds to swim in lake, BUT pool was perfect. Would definitely rent again & recommend.

Wonderful house, lake and location.

The house and the lake were absolutely perfect. Our family had a wonderful time spending the Fourth of July on Lake Weir. The host was very easy to get a hold of and helpful on the few things that we asked about. The house is very close to amenities such as Walmart, Aldi and other shopping. The house had everything we needed. All we had to do was take in our clothes and food. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the dock. I don’t think we could’ve asked her anything more. My husband said the only thing that would have made it more perfect was if there was a recliner in one of the living areas.

Great Family Vacation on Lake Weir!

House was very clean and well organized with beautiful landscaping. There were 9 of us ages 12-85 and the house did not seem crowded. The pool area was great. The owner quickly responds to any questions or issues. We just wish we could have brought our dog with us.

Perfect set up

This home is beautifully laid out, has everything you could possibly need. Beach area for kids to play, nice dock area for socializing, fishing. Paddle boarding, dock for your boat, screened in pool and covered porch with no bugs! We were able to sit out there to play games and not have any mosquito problems. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to do it again

Very relaxing holiday

We are regular visitors to Florida and this villa ticked all of our boxes: comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, heated pool, large lanai over pool and patio. We really enjoyed coffee and meals from the patio, south facing straight onto the lake, very relaxing and at one with the birdlife. Regular visitors were a flock of scarlet ibis, woodpeckers and a pair of sandhill cranes, quite tame and approachable for photos, clearly used to visitors! We lost the first 4 days of our planned 15 day stay as hurricane Milton ploughed through. Host Stephanie was great, gave us good advice on keeping safe and got us into the villa as soon as she could, mercifully there was no damage and the power and internet were OK. Apart from the hurricane interruption we had a really great stay.

Family get away

This house is setup for the perfect family vacation. It was clean, warm and welcoming. Everything and anything one would need or want is right at one’s fingertips. Throughout the entire house there were laminated pages that explained how everything works. The outdoor area was perfect! There were 9 of us in the house and we had family stopping in throughout the stay, never once did we feel crowded. There is a great little coffee shop and a restaurant within minutes. Stephanie was the perfect host and a pleasure to work with. My family will be using this home again for future stays.

I grew up enjoying water sports with my family on Lake Weir so it was fitting that we would raise our family on the lake as well. We have made so many fantastic memories with our children and now our grandchildren to fill endless memory albums and we hope the same is true of you, your family and your friends.
