It was a very easy stay with many amenities such as cooking and cleaning supplies. The door code and access to the property was very convenient. Parking was no issue and the neighborhood felt safe and comfortable. The layout of the house and the overall design were also very nice.

This is a great place to stay for 2 people if you need to be in the area. The bed is super comfortable and there is plenty of room in the closet to put your luggage. There is one parking space in the back, and plenty of space on the street. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked, could have used a few more coffee pods for a 5 night stay, but everything else was great.

Fantastic place!

Private, quiet, clean and the best bed I've EVER slept on! Linens are wonderful; kitchen stocked adequately and internet was great! Will hopefully book again!

This was a fabulous little property.It was so fresh and clean and had all the amenities. I love beautiful things, so the fact that it was so tastefully decorated was important to me. We are not talking antiques here, but the furniture and decor were very cleverly put together.I was on my own, so there was plenty of room. It is perfect for one or two people.The large closet means that your suitcases don't get in the way. The little garden area was inviting. The bathroom had a spacious shower and fresh, modern fixtures and thick towels.I was visiting my sister in Sierra Madre which is nearby and a charming little town with nice restaurants.Check-in was simple, I just punched in the code at the door and the door opened.The host graciously left Keurig coffee pods which I enjoyed, although I had to look up how to make the coffee machine work on Youtube and then reset it every time I used it by unplugging it for ten minutes.Maybe a new coffee machine is in order, but this is a very small problem compared to the luxurious feel of the accommodation. I did not cook, but the kitchen seemed fully equipped.I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was lovely and the house was clean and full of light. The kitchen was well-appointed. The checkin was easy and there was plenty of parking. A good experience all around.

Favorite Place!

We love this property! Alphonso is the best host, excellent communication and follow up. The property has everything you would want or need.We were there during the fires and had to evacuate for 2 days then go back (no power) and it was all good. We always will stay here when visiting CA if it is available.

Great house

This was the perfect house and location for our quick trip to the area. We loved the little patio in the morning to enjoy our coffee and the beautiful CA mornings. The host was great with communication from start to finish. Would definitely come back here for future visits.

Becky the owner, was Wonderful!. Excellent communication and she worked with me because this was a difficult trip for myself and my daughter to Yosemite. Itā€™s a great little town of Mariposa. My husband and I have stayed here in the past in this town that is and the dining options are really delicious. Her place was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone staying here. A week in Monrovia

This little place was just what we needed for a week. It was well thought out, confortable, with a designer look discreet and interesting at the same time. We would have liked to have more contact with the owner, but we did get answers to our questions. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential. If we need to go back to the area again, we would by all means reserve it again.

Awesome stay in Monrovia

We loved our stay in Monrovia. The place is super clean and the pictures are exactly what you will get. Really nice and well decorated so you can feel comfortable right away. Just be aware that LA is a huge city and Monrovia is a bit far away. I think we underestimated the drives a bit. But then you are also In the middle of pretty and clean suburbia which is a huge plus. We would definitely come back.

We loved it and hopefully weā€™ll stay there again someday.

We had a comfortable stay. My husband's daughter and family live about 3 blocks away on Stedman. So convenient. Only, unable to use the bedroom fan without very bright lights staying on. Toilet seems to be loose on the floor. Just a minor maintenance. Back door could use a covering. Other than these minor comments, everything was lovely. Thank you!

Thoughtfully curated and cozy

This was the most accurately, listed rental we have ever had! Upon arrival the home looked exactly like it was pictured. Parking was a breeze with both street parking and ample parking in the rear of the house. The home was immaculate and very well appointed very comfortable. We utilized the kitchen and cookware as well as the washer and dryer. The back patio was nice to sit and read in the morning while I drink my coffee. The bed was comfortable and had nice linensā€¦ I must have told my husband at least three times how much I loved the way it was decorated and that you could tell somebody put love and thought into it. Really nice shower and high-quality toiletries as well!

Comfortable and Snug

The property is well appointed and comfortable for a single individual. The bedding and bed were lovely and, the shower large although the bathroom overall would be snug for more than one person.The kitchen had what I needed. The updating was well done. There is no central air or heat and the wall units struggled to catch up to the cold outside temperatures and obtaining a comfortable indoor temperature of 72 degrees. Once reaching the temp is was able to maintain. If itā€™s hot or cold the owner needs to ensure the internal temperature is appropriate before arrival. Overall I will stay again.
