The home was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen items were perfect. The amount of towels and washcloths were abundent. There were even beach towels. My only gripe was with the door that couldn't be locked, the smoke alarm that went off for no reason, and the home alarm system that kept beeping due to the system updates that are needed. There were no check out instructions so i had to ask. Communication with Frederick was good and i never had to wait to get answers. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay here for a bachelorette party! The house was cozy and everyone loved it! Communication was great with the host. I would definitely stay here again.

Fun and

Overall a great stay, the check in and out process could be more clear and probably more convenient for owners with guidelines written down on site vs having to contact them. We had the smoke alarm go off and that was a bit chaotic, and we never were able to connect to WiFi but honestly that was okay - better to be present! Loved the rooms and styling!

Lovely home!

The stay was great! The home is exactly as it appears. It’s got such a unique vibe yet comfy! Would recommend staying here. The host was also very communicative and easy to get ahold of!

Home looks exactly as listed

Sadly when we arrived we discovered there was a pretty significant mouse infestation. The owners were unaware as I'm sure there hadn't been anyone there in a while. Additionally, there was a sewer issue in the downstairs bathroom.. again I'm sure they were unaware. They did have a pest control company come out right away and set up bait traps and what-not and cleaned the kitchen. When we went to bed that evening however we discovered there was mouse droppings in every bed downstairs and when my grandchildren woke in the morning we also discovered mouse droppings in 3 of the 5 beds upstairs. We immediately stripped every bed and started washing what we could. I asked that they take the bedspreads to the laundromat while we were out for the day (too large and just too much for washing machines in the house) but unfortunately they couldn't make that work so we had to vacate. Was really a bummer as it was over Thanksgiving and there wasn't anything available to rent that last minute. VRBO handled a refund immediately and that process did go very smoothly... considering. I'm sure the owners have taken care of the problem now that they are aware. For future renter's the check in was very easy and the home really looks exactly as listed. Lots of space!! Nice neighborhood. Again

House was great but had issues with fridge and heat

We liked the house, it had plenty of room for our family, great location, beds were comfortable, and the decor was nice. Unfortunately, neither of the fridges worked consistently the entire time. I contacted the property owner who said they were “tricky” and gave me a few steps to follow including unplugging them and plugging them back in. I don’t think a fridge should be tricky to use. We ended up borrowing coolers and keeping our food outside. We also couldn’t keep the heat in the house above 63. Most of the time it was at 60 and only when we set the thermostat to 78 would it climb up a few degrees. We contacted the home owner about this twice and didn’t receive a response either time. We noticed that the furnace filter was completely clogged so we changed that but it didn’t help.

Great Property in a Great Neighborhood

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. The property was spacious, clean, in a great neighborhood with comfortable beds. The separate living areas between the upper and lower levels were a nice addition as well.

Great location

A 5 bedroom house with plenty of beds tucked back off from main road. 2 kitchens, one up and one downstairs. Plenty of linens. The location is so close to the 394 to jump on and go anywhere plus close enough to walk to a CVS and grocery stores. Also within walking distance to a few restaurants. A big backyard with fire pit was enjoyed by all. The decor was a throw back to the 70’s which made it fun. We were happy just to all be together.

Great Location, House, Hosts!

This location was central to every place we needed to go and was close to the expressways. The house was spacious and we loved having two separate kitchens and living rooms. Allowed us to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The neighborhood was really nice and not a lot of traffic passed the house, so it was pretty quiet even with being off a main road. Frederick answered all of our questions promptly, and allowed us to check in an hour early, which was much appreciated after a long day of travel from out of state. The only things we saw as having room for improvement were the freezer, which didn't get cold enough to make ice, and the lack of kitchen items (ziplocks, plastic wrap, foil, etc) hand soap in the bathroom, and several of the bedroom light fixtures didn't work. We made due, though, and none of these things were show stoppers for us. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!

Comfy beds

Comfy beds, cotton sheets … was a girls weekend so nice to have twins in all the rooms . Sparking clean. Kitchen was a little sparse for us for cooking.

Dump! Do not recommend! Nightmare experience!!

Yikes!!! Dump of a house and a TERRIBLE host! Do not recommend!!! More things didn’t work than did work in the property and the host actually yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me after telling me to go ahead and leave! We did! Stayed only one night of our week booking. The property smelled and looked like no one had been in it or in the yard in years. Overgrown weeds, cobwebs everywhere and nothing to sit on! Bad from the start. To mention a few of the things experienced in just one night in the property, the kitchen sink was so clogged it had nasty chunks float out and onto our food and, after buying my own Draino to fix it because the host would not resolve until next day, the host was dismissive of the event and acted like that was normal. We tried the first dryer (2 in house) and it didn’t work and started smoking. Turned on oven to bake something and the smoke set off the smoke alarm. Our son punctured his toe on a nail that stuck up through the stairs carpeting (nail is visible). Upstairs fridge would not get cold, when asked host about it, he became angry and told me it was my fault for putting things in it before it was cold. Then told me to “just use the basement fridge if need your stuff cold.” He also said that we shouldn’t run the second clothes dryer while we were in the house because it was so loud. “Just don’t dry clothes at night” Upstairs shower/tub was clogged with hair that came up after it filled with water. Toilet seat in bathroom was broken.

Great place with a few hiccups

What we really enjoyed: Great location, close to attractions, interstate, shopping Lots of space to sleep and beds were comfortable Very clean on arrival Beautiful deck and great firepit Two kitchen areas Room for improvement but wouldn't keep us from coming again: Only verbal details for check-in, check-out process, wifi password - nothing written or sent ahead of time Need to use the electronic passcode lock that is already in place, having to use a key is not user friendly especially with multiple people staying at the property

Engagement Party Accommodations

This property has the most beds in the Wayzata area which was a huge plus for what we needed. Was used to accommodate our guest with a place to sleep for our engagement party. Had all the necessary essentials for our guest to get ready for the day and prepare for bed. Host was tremendously helpful the entire weekend.

Great location on west side!

Accommodations were great - convenient location, plenty of room, nice backyard. Check-in was difficult since we were all traveling into town - host required to meet at property. Would have been smoother for us to have lock box and just gotten code.
