The property was clean and fit our family well. When we had an issue the owner was prompt, accommodating and quickly responded keeping us up to date on the fix to the issue. Would definitely recommend and use again.

This house is so precious and has so much charm! It’s very close to Riverside and Five Points, which is where we spent most of our time, so the location was perfect. The neighborhood was nice, there was plenty of parking, and the house had pots and pans for cooking, which was very helpful. Communication with the host was fantastic throughout our stay.The only feedback I have is that the small apartment in the back had a strong odor, similar to fresh drywall, so we chose not to use it during our stay. It wasn’t an issue for us since we still had plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, but it may be something worth looking into for future guests.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this house!

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay to attend a wedding in the area. The house provided plenty of space for our 6 kids and 3 of their spouses. It was clean, well appointed, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. The location was close to the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, the wedding venue, and close to anything you might need convenience wise. A little added bonus was the little studio area where the kids played fuseball and pool. Overall a great rental with a warm homey feel.

Great Jax Experience

This place was absolutely perfect for our trip to JAX for a football game. The house was spacious with plenty of beds and the space was super clean! The host, Lipsy and her team were very responsive and friendly. I feel like they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed the space. Will definitely look for this house for my next trip to JAX.

Incredible Weekend Getaway

The perfect place for a getaway with friends. A very comfortable home with lots of space. Our group of bridesmaids got ready for a wedding and the home was perfect. Absolutely incredible water pressure in the showers.

Short stay but just what we needed

Our family was in town for a funeral and the house gave us all that we needed. Location was ideal. the beds were comfortable and despite the heat we were able to enjoy the outdoor space. The host was more than accommodating and for that we are thankful for that.

Excellent Extended Family Gathering

The property exceeded our expectations and was as described by the host. The house was spacious and accommodated 7 adults from three families with adequate space for privacy and was very comfortable to gather as a group.

Lovely Riverside getaway

This spacious and updated home in a quiet Jacksonville neighborhood was exactly what our family needed when visiting grandparents who live nearby. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor backyard space. The host was communicative and responsive and made our stay relaxed and welcomed. Great place for families!

The host was great! Communication was clearly and she responded back in no time! The house was AWESOME! Clean, very convenient location and well equipped with everything we needed! We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo home! The host was quick to reply, clear in communication, and very accommodating throughout our visit. With six bedrooms, the house comfortably fit our family of nine, and the fully fenced backyard was perfect for our dog.The location was ideal—very close to EverBank Stadium for attending the football game, and only about a 30–40 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Amelia Island. We also loved being near the charming Avondale area, which has great restaurants, unique shops, lovely parks (including pickleball courts!), and beautiful scenery.One important note for future guests: the sixth bedroom is a detached “studio,” and both bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) are located in the main house. This worked fine for us, but it’s good to be aware of ahead of time.We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces, with great seating on both the deck and patio—perfect for relaxing together. Overall, a fantastic home and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful long weekend

Very nice property. We had 12 people, so the two bathroom setup was a little tricky, but we made it work. Important to know the sixth bedroom is actually in an outside studio unit- so anyone sleeping there will have to go outside and in to the house to use the restroom. The host was very responsive to any and all needs. We enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the time we had together as a family.

Wedding Stay

House was very nice. Really had only 2 issues-no air conditioning unit upstairs so the first floor was cold to keep the upstairs fairly cool. And only 2 bathrooms, which we knew from the beginning. And there was not a closet to use in the downstairs bedroom, which we did not know when we rented. Four of the 10 guests did not come so the bathroom arrangement worked, but if they had come it would have been very frustrating. Also, we were there for a wedding and there wasn’t any usable mirrors except in the 2 bathrooms. We did enjoy our stay and the property was clean and comfortable. All in all it was a good stay!

Absolutely FALSE that there is no AC upstairs. The home has central AC & Heating and there are vents in every bedroom upstairs and hallway. When you were asked to check if AC vents were open, we did not get a response. I would have happily sent someone to check. This is Florida- record heat this summer- and hot air rises to second floors. Thank you for the mirror suggestion, we will add some in the rooms.

Nice house with decent ammenities

Can't complain about the overall experience. House was clean and had decent amenities. Communication with the property manager was excellent and responsive. Had it been presented differently; I would have no issues. It's just the way the home was presented which left me a little confused. Setting the record straight, I don't believe it should be advertised as a lavish estate. It's a nice house, with only 2 bathrooms and a decent but small outdoor space. Your neighbors are basically "right there" The guest house has no bathroom so you would have to use the master bathroom. Some of the beds were rock hard with metal frames that squeaked badly. Plus, the 2nd picture that shows a golf cart at the beach should not be used since you are far from a beach and while you can get to the river, it doesn't look like that. Again, I'm not trying to take away from the house, but you are literally 2 or 3 blocks from train tracks and they start running about 2:30 almost every morning and the train horns are loud.An estate would be something more remote with a larger property and lavish would be over the top amenities. While again trying to be fair the home is nice, but by no means lavish. Small TV's in the bedrooms, tight little bathrooms, etc. So I guess my issue was more truth in advertising, than really an issue with house. Had it been presented in a more realistic light, I would have taken it for what it is and been even more pleased.

The golf cart photo symbolizes nearby recreational opportunities, including local golf courses and the chance to rent other beach gear. In regards to our property name, we describe the home as “Lavish Riverside Estate in Avondale” to reflect its historic charm and spacious layout (sleeping 12 guests), but we intentionally price it under comparable properties in the area to ensure great value. We’ll revisit the mattress quality and ensure all frames are squeak-free. We appreciate your honesty about the train noise—Avondale’s historic location near tracks is part of its character, and how much the guests hear it is a very personal perception.
