Your Savannah House: Picturesque Inside and Out! Walk to Everything

If you've been dreaming of that perfect Savannah brick town house in the middle of the world famous Historic District with private outdoor space and beautiful furnishings.... look no further! "Pierpont House" has it all.

Your group will be able to walk to all the downtown Savannah, Georgia tourist destinations from this home. This 3 story historic house has 4 spacious bedrooms each with a King size bed. The main floor has a living room, powder room, kitchen and dining room leading to a perfect walled private courtyard with ample seating for your group to relax. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom, the 3rd floor has the third and fourth bedrooms and another full bathroom.

This home was originally built and owned in 1856 by James Pierpont who is famous for writing "Jingle Bells".
This is a 3 story historic townhouse (no elevator) so please be aware this is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Parking is free on the street and no decal/permit is required in this area. Sorry but pets are not allowed at this home and smoking of any type is not permitted.

What to expect when booking: We are an "integrated partner" with VRBO/Expedia/HomeAway. Your credit card will show the rent/tax/cleaning portion of your charges under our company name because Integrated Partners are required to be the Merchant Of Record per VRBO terms of service. Only your "service fee" charged by VRBO will show on your credit card statement as a charge from that company and rest shows separately as a charge from our local Savannah GA company. Please be sure anyone who oversees your credit card statement is aware of this to avoid any confusion. If you book on VRBO you will have already agreed to our basic rules and terms (no smoking, no pets, capacity limit, check in/out times, refund policy etc) on the VRBO checkout page. Our system will email asking you to digitally sign a rental agreement with our company after booking through VRBO. Nothing in our company rental agreement contradicts the posted terms on VRBO. If you have questions about how integrated software partners are trusted and approved by VRBO and all Expedia Group websites feel free to call them to inquire.

What a perfect home for a pre-holiday stay in beautiful Savannah. Well laid out, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, the house was just right for five family members. We enjoyed the walk to Forsyth Park and to the river. We also caught the Dot a few times or Ubered from River Street. Close to restaurants and shops, we loved the location, and never had any issues with parking. Any questions about the property were answered quickly and solved any problems. We were so lucky the November weather was warm enough for many talks in the courtyard. Highly recommend the home and would stay again!

Pierpont house was perfect for our girls weekend away. Conveniently located to downtown the house was well appointed and spacious. 5 women stayed here and there was enough room for all of us. We did not cook but we did drink wine and coffee and there were plenty of glasses and cups for both. It is three floors and the stairs are narrow so if you have mobility issues or small children this may not be the ideal place for you. There was a darling patio out to sit and enjoy a drink or glass of wine. I highly recommend this house and can’t wait to stay here again.

The house was perfect for 8 women. The beds were comfortable. The bedrooms were a nice size. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice area to sit outside. Great location. Would recommend this property and stay there again.

Charming

This was our first time visiting Savannah and it was a beautiful rental that made our vacation great! The home was clean, well stocked with linens & towels, the kitchen had everything we could need, and the onsite laundry was wonderful. I would say be aware that the third floor (where one full bath and 2 bedrooms are located) was HOT! We tried to adjust the AC but I think it was just too hot outside to keep up, which is to be expected for Savannah in the summer. The location was incredible, we walked almost everywhere and Tybee was a short drive away which allowed us to enjoy a couple of beach days. Definitely recommend this property if you're coming to Savannah!

Wonderful home in a great location

Overall a great property to stay in when visiting Savannah. Not too far off the beaten path, but off of a quiet square (Taylor) in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of beautiful old homes that make you think of Savannah. The manager was great to work with and helped us out in a big way when she didn't have to. The house, while older, was very nice and had all of the modern conveniences that a family could want. Very close to all of the major sightseeing places, and an easy walk to most areas of interest. Overall no complaints at all

Great stay

Great house and walkable to just about anywhere in Downtown Savannah. We did not move our car the entire trip. House was well kept and clean. Easy check-in process and all amenities listed where there.

Savannah get away

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was in the perfect location to explore the historic district and walking distance to restaurants, shops, the river etc. Your home was so clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. Great space inside and out to relax. We can’t wait to return!

Great stay in Savannah!

Great house with good common space and a cute outdoor patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The 4 king beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to surrounding restaurants and River Street. Would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful House!

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The location was quiet and close to everything we wanted to visit. The rooms are beautiful and it’s decorated so tastefully— we felt right at home immediately. Full of everything we could need from a well appointed kitchen to extra towels and toiletries, instructions were clear and it was all super easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at a great location in Savannah!

Lovely Home in Savannah

We really enjoyed our girlfriend week at this lovely home. It looked just like it did in the photos and was nicely appointed with towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea amenities. It's an old home with squeaky floors...but we didn't see any ghosts. There was a nice outdoor patio and seating too. It was nicely located and we walked everywhere and felt safe. Would stay there again for sure!

Girls Trip

Host was amazing and helped us find a new VRBO when our flight was cancelled due to snow. We ran out of some supplies and the host immediately sent staff over. House is beautiful and well maintained. Four beautiful bedrooms with comfortable king beds. Highly recommend.
