Prayer Mountain View Cabin | Fire Pit

Beautiful mountain top cabin close to Prayer Mountain (5.4 mi) and Big R Orchards (14 mi). Gather around the indoor fireplace or large outdoor fire pit. Guest favorite near Charlotte (70 mi) and Durham (143 mi). 3 king bedrooms and 1 queen/2 twins. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen for 10+, dining seats 10, and a raised deck, this is the perfect place to discover the beauty and serenity of the mountains. 15-minute mountain drive to Prayer Mountain.

You will have a keypad check in for your convenience. We are available through the Airbnb app, Hostfully app and via cell phone. We use Hostfully as our property management platform and our family business is called Vista Vacation Properties, LLC.

--This secluded cabin is located at the end of a 1.4-mile-long old logging road. It’s gravel until you get to our property where it is paved up to the house. The paved section is steeper with one switch back but after a few trips, you’ll be a mountain pro. --The UPS truck makes it and so can you!
--Hunting season is October thru December so please no hiking on the property, especially during those months. There is plenty of great local hiking nearby! If you walk past the end of our driveway you will soon be on our neighbor's property.
--The property was originally logged in the late 1800s/early 1900s and then turned into apple orchards. Few apple trees still remain, but if you look closely, you can still see the terraced mountain behind the house.

You will have the entire cabin for your personal use!

☀On the main level you have the king bedroom with an attached master bathroom. There are an additional 2 king bedrooms with a shared full bathroom with a tub in between them on the main level.

☀Main level living room closet or bedroom closet has a pack'n play with sheets/blanket, high chair and a changing pad.
☀Downstairs bedroom sleeps 4 with a queen-sized bed along with a daybed/trundle with two twin mattresses.
☀Downstairs has a full bathroom with a shower.
☀Bright dining room seats 10 and kitchen is stocked for cooking large meals. Washer/dryer on main floor.
☀Family room downstairs with large smart TV, seating for 10, faux fireplace/heater and games/puzzles.

The closet grocery store is 12 minutes away. Wilkesboro, with restaurants, bars and shopping, is 16 minutes from the cabin. Stay here as a home base for skiing near Boone, Grandfather Mountain and Stone Mountain. Lots of local hiking and water sports at W Kerr Scott Reservoir. Only 30 miles to access the Blue Ridge Parkway at Deep Gap (still closed from hurricane). 20 min drive to Big R Orchards.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆

This charming, remodeled cabin features four comfortable bedrooms to accommodate your whole group. Each bedroom seamlessly blends cozy mountain decor with contemporary touches, so you can enjoy an authentic cabin experience with a modern twist. You’ll find many of the bedside lamps have USB ports and plugs so you can keep all your devices charged easily.

On the main level, you’ll find three large bedrooms with king-sized beds and black out curtains. Each room contains a full-length mirror, luggage racks, and plenty of space to store your belongings. The primary bedroom features a plush bed so you can enjoy a restful sleep. You’ll also find an ensuite bathroom (shower/tub), a cozy reading nook, and glass French doors that opens up to the back deck, providing incredible mountain views!

The second and third bedrooms on this main floor each contain a plush king-sized bed as well as a chair to enjoy a good book. There is another full bathroom (shower/tub) shared between these bedrooms.

Make your way downstairs to the lower level where you’ll find the fourth bedroom. This room contains a comfortable queen-sized bed in addition to a daybed/twin trundle bed that can accommodate two. This room also has an attached full bathroom with a shower.

There are three full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for everyone to get ready! Each full bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, a blow dryer and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

There are two bathrooms on the main floor; one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. Each of these bathrooms features a shower/tub combination so you can choose between a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower. The third full bath is located on the lower level and contains a walk-in shower and plenty of space to get ready for the day.

Make all your meals in the newly redecorated kitchen. You’ll find everything you’ll need to whip up all your favorite dishes, a full-sized fridge and freezer, a wall oven and an electric stovetop.
Start your day off with a hot cup of coffee from the coffee station. You’ll find a 12-cup drip coffee maker as well as a French press. Powdered creamers, coffee, sugar, and tea bags are provided.

The kitchen opens up onto the large dining area. Enjoy all your meals around the large wooden dining table while the modern light fixture illuminates the room. This is a great space for board games and puzzles in addition to meals. You’ll love the carefully curated art pieces and sophisticated touches that enhance your dining experience.

The dining area is separated from the living room by a magnificent stone fireplace, which adds rustic charm to the space. The lounge area offers stunning views of the mountains from the large windows. This main living area is a great place to relax with your group after a day outside. Take a seat on the plush sectional sofa while the heat from the wood-burning fireplace warms your toes. Cozy up and enjoy a good book or some lively conversation as you watch the sunset casting a beautiful range of colors across the sky. The lounge also has a large smart TV for your enjoyment.

Make your way downstairs to the bonus family room. You’ll find plenty of comfortable seating on the sofa or in the chairs so you can sit back and watch a show on the 65” flat-screen Smart TV. Enjoy uninterrupted streaming using the free Wi-Fi. If you’re not in the mood for TV, you’ll find puzzles, board games, card games, and a few toys for young children.

This family-friendly cabin features a Pack 'n Play with sheets, a high chair, and a changing pad in the main level living room closet. There is also a laundry closet located near the kitchen area with detergent and dryer sheets provided.

Step out onto the back deck and take in the spectacular mountain views including part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sit back on the outdoor furniture and see if you can spot Mt. Rogers in Virginia on a clear day or simply relax and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. On nice evenings, enjoy a meal around the outdoor dining table or take a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs and share stories around the fire pit.

This beautiful cabin is perfect for groups looking for outdoor adventures and nature! You’ll be ideally located only 45minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway National Park and 75 minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain if you enjoy skiing in the winter/hiking and biking. In the summer, you’ll find several hiking trails and wineries located within 20 minutes, so you’ll never get bored. Rocky Face nearby is one of our favorite spots to hike!
