Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location.

Great place to stay. Loved the creek running and sleeping with the windows open to hear it. Easy location. Parking snug but doable.

Relaxing shady brook side condo

if you enjoy the water babbling outside your bedroom, if you like having great water pressure with a rain, shower and a comfortable bed with a cute little kitchen and sitting area, relaxing after a long day of gallivanting, stay here! We were grateful to come back and relax here at the end of our long excursions!

Nice Place and Location

Arrived 4:00pm, obvious unit not cleaned. Pile of wet used towels on bathroom floor and kitchen counter, all trash containers full and not emptied, looked like just got out of bed. Contacted vrbo, two people came out and cleaned from 7:30-8:30pm. Otherwise, nice modern kitchen appliances, bathrooms are small and the only useable shower upstairs is different. The second bedroom mattress is too soft and the window in that room needs a screen, by end of day it gets really warm and if you open the window you get bugs flying in. Easy parking, good location, can walk into Ketchum.

Fit our Needs

Nice unit with top end appliances. One bed comfortable and supportive, the other more soft. Reasonable price and excellent location. Trouble-free TV & Internet. Ample hangers. Responsive support. Minor foibles: Some cookware was put away dirty. Temperamental keycode lock. (with responsive live support). Outside entry light out. Narrow stairway without handrail. Photo is much brighter than room in person.

Bait and switch

After we’d already booked and day of arrival I received a voice mail that the upstairs shower was unrepairable. When we arrived it was clear it had been that way for a long time. Yet, no info in the listing. Also, the blinds in the master bedroom upstairs wouldn’t close so… no privacy. Furthermore, the vaxasa check in process was really confusing. Stood in the snow for a while trying to download their crummy app.

Affordable, good location

This property has a great location that is easily walkable to everything in Ketchum. The condo itself is tired. There are stickers all over the shower telling you not to adjust any knobs (including water temperature??) due to leaking, no toilet paper holders, and very steep stairs with no handrail. The unit was not very clean when we arrived. The bathroom was dirty and there were dirty dog food and water bowls left out. Also vacasa manages this property and sends way too many texts and emails and want you to download their app instead. Lastly, it wasnt very secure when we arrived. The sliding door was unlocked and the upstairs balcony door was left open. Overall not impressed but an affordable stay.

Ok but needs attention

The location and setting is top-flight, but the unit itself was a disappointment. The Jacuzzi bath flooded the unit on the first night. We reported it, but A Plumber took five days to get there and posted the bathroom as unusable. We did receive a small refund as a result of our complaint. But the plumber said this had been reported before and had not been fixed. Also the narrow and steep stairs really need rails. This would be a code violation where we live in a rental unit. There were virtually no instructions on where to find things or how the various appliances worked. The push button doorway entry was difficult to use, the buttons are too small and seem to be wearing out as the code often did not register correctly. Also, the code could be much much simplified, it’s something like nine numbers and that’s just unacceptable. I feel like VRBO should vet units like this so clients are forewarned about shortcomings. My sense is that the absentee owners don’t spend any time in this unit and don’t care about the people who rent it. It’s disappointing because it has kind of soured us on Vrbo and Vacasa, which , particularly at premium rates like this one charged should make sure that the unit is up to spec.
