The Texan is a log cabin located in the Comanche Crossing Subdivision. This house sits on the Frio River and it has a private riverfront for guests to enjoy. It sleeps 19 and has four bedrooms and three baths. It has a wrap around porch which offers great shade to get away from the Texas heat. With just a short walk down to the river this property offers a cement slab perfect for setting up all you need for a day at the river. You can choose to sit and hang out in the river or float down to the house from Seven Bluff. This house has an area for bar-b-queing and a fire pit for enjoying with your friends. There is also a volleyball net and horseshoes for some family friendly competition.

Love this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd stay in this house and won’t be out last! It has everything we need. The best part is being so close to the water. For the last several years the water is too low to float. Because of the location we are able to walk right down and get in the water. I still sat on my float and my grandkids played. Having the water there is priceless!

The property was very nice. only one suggestion. Replace the mat in the master bathroom. It was very dangerious. slid very easily. Otherwise the property met all our desires. WE had no need to contact the property manager, therefore we have nothing to rate them on.

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first year at the Texan. We usually stay at the Bunkhouse; however, with 3 families sharing a house and with the kids getting older and bringing friends we needed a bigger house. The Texan worked perfectly for us. 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and a nice sized kitchen along with an extra refrigerator in the laundry room. The upstairs bedrooms stayed cold which is hard to find. The Texan has a concrete pad riverside which is perfectly shaded. Hippie Chicks is just down the road if you need a cold drink and something to eat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin needs more skillets and especially saucepans. The ones there are extremely used. I realize the renters misuse them. But rust and cuts on the Teflon coating is not safe to use. Decorations are very nice. The main bedroom / bathroom is large and very nice. Needs shade
