House was perfect for our family of 5 and dogs with room to spare. Parking is super easy and on the quiet side. Firepit came is handy for a night of memories and fun. Backyard is 100percent secure well maintained. No complaints at all and highly recommend this house. We would stay again!

Gorgeous cottage

Great for people like me with bad knees and the back yard is VERY secure for a dog. Quiet neighborhood, very close to grocery and restaurants.

Clean and beautiful house. All the small details made us feel right at home. Easy check in and check out process. Delivery and pick up of rental the golf cart was a big plus. We look forward to staying here again.

The perfect spot

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Sea Glass cottage!! It slept 7 people and 2 large dogs comfortably, was clean and updated, a super short walk to the beach, and had a huge fenced backyard and fire pit! We will absolutely be making another trip to Port A in the future and can’t wait to stay here again. It was seriously a perfect experience all around!

Great beach trip

We enjoyed our stay so much! The girls liked the walkability of the house to the beach and local shops. The house is older, but nicely rennovated. AC worked great, bathrooms were nice, kitchen is well appointed. We would happily return!

Family getaway

Great place for me and my adult children—-we had room to spread out and enjoy relaxing after a busy and stressful fall. Close to restaurants and Birding Center as well as the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, including a crockpot, and the refrigerator and dishwasher seemed brand new, We would recommend it to friends.

Birthday Family Vacation

We enjoyed our 4 day stay to celebrate my birthday our anniversary and have our kids and granddaughter to enjoy the special occasion with us . The house was perfect, clean and location to beach and shops were perfect as well . We enjoyed the beach and shops as well as yummy dinner at fins and tortugas . 10/10

Good until the last day. Power went out at 6am. No heat, no hot water, no lights. Cleaned up the best we could in the dark and left. Had to catch a plane in San Antonio

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed staying at this location in Port A. The house had plenty of room for our group and we only encountered one issue and that was rectified immediately with the staff. The only suggestion I could give would be to have something to scoop the ages out of the pits with when cleaning, but otherwise we had an amazing time here.

Cute little house close to the beach

This is a quaint little house with a lot of character, remodeled nicely. The listing was very accurate. The online photos of course make it appear larger than it is as like all real estate photographers use a wide angle lens which distorts the view but fits it in the camera frame. It does have low ceilings since it is an older home, my husband at 6'2" just barely fit under the ceiling beam and the fans. We enjoyed the coziness of it and the fenced in yard with our puppy! The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen was sufficient for cooking our meals. It was a quick walk down to the beach and a short drive anywhere we needed to go.

Great location

The location of this property was pretty perfect. Minutes from the beach, grocery store and shopping. Very easy to get to and a quiet area. The house itself was just as listed. Perfect for our family of 4 and 3 other family members. I enjoyed the fact that there were not a lot of stairs. The AC unit worked just great and I love that were fans in every room. For the most part the house was clean, but like most VRBO's I think some regular deep cleaning needs to be done a little more often. Also, being able to rent a golf cart and have it waiting there for us is a BIG BONUS. All in all, it was a nice place to stay. Thank you so much.

Fun getaway with our Adult kids

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was great. House was clean and very nicely decorated. The location was great, close to everything. We had a few issues, one with the fridge but it was resolved and the fire pit in the back yard needs to be replaced. Other than that everything else was perfect. We also rented our golf cart from New Wave which was great!

Sea Glass Cottage

The staff at New Wave did a great job. I was not that impressed with the house that we stayed at, Sea Glass Cottage. The bedrooms were hot and the air conditioning could not keep up. The house did not have enough cleaning supplies including trash bags. Overall the office staff was great but for the cost of the house for 5 days, I was dissatisfied.

From Port Aransas to Corpus Christi—and every area in between—we offer homes with comfortably spacious floor plans and stunning amenities. Interested in a small condo getaway with your sweetheart? Planning a lavish getaway with your extended family? We have vacation rentals of all sizes to accommodate many different types of vacation plans, each of which is fully furnished with comfortable coastal furniture.
Our Mission is to give back and help Port Aransas maintain its natural beauty. With each booking a portion of proceeds will be given back quarterly to a local non profit. We will be selling and including: Protect Port A bracelets in all guest gift baskets. Our mission extends to our guests through our "Welcome Baskets." Each reservation will find a welcome basket when they arrive at our property. The basket includes items from local business partners as well as a Protect Port A trash bag. Use the bag to collect beach trash, then return the full bag to our office in exchange for a local gift certificate to be used during their stay and help keep our beaches cleaner than when you arrive.

This home is located in town near all of the excitement Port Aransas has to offer, and is a short trip to the beautiful Port Aransas beach. This home is pet friendly giving your pet a vacation to. This home is gold cart accessible, so feel free to rent a cart to drive around the island.
