Comfortable and modern home on the Alexandria Chain of Lakes. Enjoy outstanding views of Lake Carlos from the home's main level or walk-out level windows. In a quiet area of Lake Carlos, but only minutes away from the Carlos Marina (boat rental and fuel), Carlos Creek Winery, Zorbaz, The Lure Lakebar, Arrowwood and many others.

Enjoy the lake using our dock system to tie up your boat, lounge and relax or jump into Lake Carlos with a hard sandy bottom. Also take advantage of using our paddle boat, kayak and paddle board.

When you're not partaking in the lake life or one of the many activities the Alexandria area has to offer, relax indoors in this beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home. Enjoy the two family rooms, a modern kitchen, charcoal and gas grilles and a gas fireplace. The home also has an outdoor lighting system that can be customized with specific colors for a particular holiday, family event or even for your favorite sports team.

Another Great Stay!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at this property and just love it! It fits our two families perfectly with great space downstairs for the kiddos and upstairs for the grownups. Fantastic location just minutes from Lake Carlos Marina where we rented a pontoon for a day. Shane is always responsive and we are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Summer lake vacation

Very cozy cabin with all the amenities. Great fishing off the dock. Water was perfect for swimming and paddling boarding. We had a great stay. Next time we will have to stay longer.

Wonderful relaxing experience

Family reunion on Lake Carlos

Had a great week at the house. The property was very clean and the amenities were great. Communication with the owner was timely with check in and no issues throughout the week.. The water sports were a great addition. The home was well decorated and very cozy. Room enough to spread out if you utilize both floors. The view of the lake was good from the deck.

2023 Lake Carlos Fathers Day!

Everything was great! The cabin was very clean & organized. Everything outside was amazing, from a new grill and large table on the deck have meals on, to a great dock to park our boat for our visit. Our kids loved using the paddle board and fishing off the dock! Shane was a great host. We can't wait to come back. Thanks, KDLRLR Eden Prairie, MN

Perfect Family Stay!

My family, in-laws, and their families stayed here for the weekend - in town for a Friday wedding at the winery and it was perfect! Plenty of places to sleep, the deck and yard were great for the little ones. We brought meals to cook and the kitchen was very clean and had all of the cookware we needed. This space is very well kept and had a bunch of games and amenities that we enjoyed for the weekend. The location is near the marina, which we used for a boat rental one day, the neighborhood and neighbors were very nice. The host was quick to respond and gave us clear check in instructions. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Relaxing at the Lake

Our three-generation family had a great time enjoying our annual mini vacation together and the accommodations of a modern and well-maintained home right on the shores of a beautiful lake. We appreciated all the amenities provided and only wish we could have had more time to use the paddleboat and other water activities. The Alexandria area also had a lot to offer for families to do. The internet didn't work but Shane was available and albeit even if the fix didn't happen during our stay, we were more interested in being "unplugged" for a few days.

Great Space/Layout for Big or Multiple Families!

We could not have loved this cabin more! We were two families; each with 11-year-old and 9-year-old daughters and the layout could not have suited us more. The bedrooms with the queen and king beds are upstairs with a full bathroom on that level, and then the bedrooms with the bunk beds (and full) are downstairs with a full bathroom. So, we adults had space upstairs and the kids could sprawl out in the lower level family room so everyone had plenty of space. It was updated and very clean. The outdoor area (deck & porch below deck) was also lovely...beach is as described; hard sand bottom and pretty cleared out of weeds right off the dock. We used the kayak and paddle board a ton. And it is pretty close to Lake Carlos Marina which made our boat rental really easy. The weather wasn't the best, so we took advantage of the cabin's proximity to Alexandria and visited Escape Room Alexandria for a fantastic time. We hope to stay again next summer and make this our annual cabin weekend. Thank you for sharing your place with us!
