Executive Condo in Bear Valley Village W/Garage +Kid Friendly

Executive 3bd / 3ba Silver Mountain Condo located 100 yards from Bear Valley Lodge. Park in garage and take elevator up. Kitchen has granite counters, Bosch stainless steel appliances and is stocked with new pots, pans, plates and utensils. The living room has a 46" Plasma TV and Blu-Ray disk home theater with surround sound. The bedroom on this level has a custom bunk bed with twin sleeper sofa couch and the bath has a jetted spa tub. The two upstairs bedrooms each queen sized beds and they both have attached baths with large showers.

There is no better place to decompress after a long work week or for a memorable holiday. Park the car after a short drive from the Bay Area and enjoy Bear Valley at your door step. Walk to the lodge for a latte or food, catch the shuttle to the ski resort and ski back via 'Home Run'. We take our kids sledding just outside the building. It's the perfect hill for toddlers and eliminates the hassle of having to drive somewhere.

We purchased almost all the furniture new from Macy's and stocked the kitchen with excellent equipment and utensils. We love the place and are confident you will too. Rent and Enjoy!

This was probably one of my best stays ever. Excellent location, communication and the condo is just so convenient, clean and well equipped, especially if you have kids. I hope this cabin remains available for rent for future visits.

This was an amazing place to stay for our family snow trip and one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. The condo is spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped. My daughter loved the generous selection of toys and snow-themed books. I loved the boot dryer and indoor parking with EV charging. We all loved the well-stocked kitchen and short walk to the lodge and store.Richard was very friendly and responsive and communicated everything we needed to know. We'd be delighted to stay here again in the future!

Great stay!

The property is very conveniently located in Bear Valley village with undercover parking. Generally space in the condo for our family of 5 inclusive of great toys for the kids to play with when not skiing. Great time had by all.

All you want in a BV condo

Condo was great! We had an awesome stay, the place felt like home. When we weren't on the slopes the kids enjoyed all the board games, my husband enjoyed the boot warmer and I enjoyed the lovely spa tub in the downstairs bath. This unit is a find! Hope to stay here every time we come back to Bear Valley.

Excellent condo!

We love everything of this condo. The place is well equipped and super clean. We enjoyed radiant floor heating, boot warmer, stainless steel cookware (my preference)…everything is in great condition! In addition, covered parking is a must. Our family felt very comfortable. Richard has done above and beyond. He provided detail information, monitored weather conditions, and offered exceptional accommodations. We will come back for sure.

Best place in Bear!

This is my second review for Richard and his condo over 5 years. My family has stayed here several times with our little kids - it’s always perfect!! I never have to bring toys, a crib or dishes for them. This home is exactly what any family needs for a trip to bear valley. Everything is exactly as you expect and more. Perfect amenities, great and cozy condo with comfy beds and always so super clean! Love love this place and can’t say enough good things!

It was a great experience renting from Richard. He provided proactive communication and I felt I was also in the loop on what I am supposed to do. It was also the perfect location being just across the street where we needed to be.

Great Unit for Your Stay in Bear Valley

Great condo unit. Clean, updated kitchen and appliances, unit is well stocked with kitchen items, games, etc. Very comfortable and in an ideal location. Owner was great to work with and very responsive. Plan on using this unit again next year.

Perfect home base

We had a fabulous time in Bear Valley, in large part because we had such a comfortable home base to return to each day. The condo is so well-appointed, and has everything to make you feel right at home. Because we make our meals every day, we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the high end appliances, and the dishwasher! There is every pot, pan, and gadget you might need to put together a perfect dinner. The place is super spacious with high ceilings both upstairs and down. More than enough room for the four of us. Super quiet, convenient, with covered parking, a handy elevator, and so close to the slopes as well as the cross country trails. Great bathrooms and showers, comfy beds, and lovely fireplace which provides the perfect place to read or play boardgames. And it's on the 3rd floor, so even though the snow drifts were high, we had gorgeous views out the windows, and none were obscured. I would love to return someday and would not hesitate to return to this unit -- summer or winter, it's bound to be beautiful.

Super convenient, well-appointed, and comfortable home just a few minutes from the ski resort

We had a great weekend stay at Murphy Condo--it was modern, convenient, and cosy. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking equipment you need. The owners are very communicative and thoughtful. It's the best place we've ever stayed in Bear Valley by a long shot, and we plan on coming back!

Fantastic Condo!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. We have 2 small children and the condo was super kid friendly. The condo is in great shape and all the amenities are top notch. It is perfectly located across the street from the Lodge with restaurants and the general store. It is a short drive to the ski mountain.

Wonderful Place - Kids Loved It!

The condo is super clean, very conveniently located and kid-friendly. When we stayed we had 2 days of snow. Underground cover parking was a super feature, especially with two little kids. The condo has everything you need to rest after a day of snow, and is equally cool if you do not want to go out the next day ;-) Richard is a welcoming host who is always approachable and answered all our questions in time. Five stars!

Home away from home

We have stayed in the Silver Mountain condos for the last 6 years, and of the 4 units we have stayed in before, this was our favorite. It is the best stocked and most like a home. All of the previous units have the same 3 bdrm 3 bath floor plan. Our favorite finding was the boot and glove rack, next to the washer and dryer. After a long day of skiing or playing in the snow, you hang your wet mittens/hats/etc on this rack, which blows warm air in them to dry them. Other happy findings:an unusually comfortable bed; a stool in the bathroom for little children to wash their hands; a rice cooker, fondue pot, crock pot, and salad bowl (with matching salad tongs) in the kitchen; tissues in every room (sounds insignificant, but most of the places I have stayed have no tissues anywhere to be found). If you’d have one at home, there is probably one here. The only downside was really the lack of a working TV. We met and talked to the owner the day we moved in and discovered that the home theater system had just broken right before we checked in. While we weren’t there for the TV, we were there for New Years’ week, and we missed the football games, NYE countdown, and Rose Bowl parade that we usually would have watched. It might have been nice to have more closet space. The closets had relevant things in them (toys, games, stuffed animals in the kids’ room; extra soft sheets, blankets, pillows in the upstairs bedrooms), but I was expecting a place to hang my clothes. We loved staying in this unit and would stay at this condo again.

Love it every time!

Love staying at this condo! The owner is super nice, always checking to make sure we are happy and comfortable with our accommodations. We will stay there again for sure. The place is clean, owner really cares about his property, and the condo has everything you need to have a great time at Bear Valley.

Great place to stay for a family

We loved our stay at Richard's condo. It was very clean with a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and family room (games and movies). It was perfect for families and even more so for a family with young children as the host provided many useful items for kids. Before we even arrived at the condo, Richard sent us a list of helpful tips and places to eat/see in the surrounding area. Whenever we had questions he got back to us right away and was always kind and helpful. We were there for an outdoor adventure camp called Pursuit and the condo was in the perfect location in proximity to that event--easily walkable. I have an oversized van and there was ample parking in front for us. We never had an issue finding a space. You also get a reserved spot in a covered parking lot underneath the building. While we were there in early August the condo was nice and quiet. When we attend our adventure camp next year we hope Richard's condo is available to rent again since we loved it so much. Thank you, Richard, for a truly wonderful stay!

Great value condo

This property served our purpose very well. Even though there were only 2 of us, we wanted to have space for friends to come and stay during the Bear Valley Music Festival. The property was well appointed and had most things we needed. Our biggest disappointment was that we could not get outside. There was no balcony or deck so we felt very shut in. We are very outdoors people and like to be able to eat outside. There is a large communal deck on Level 2 which we utilised but it was a bit of a nuisance having to carry chairs, table, and food down a level. The other thing to be aware of is that this appears to be a pet friendly property so you may well encounter dogs in the corridor. We could not leave our door open otherwise the dog along the hallway would wander in, as would the stray children. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owner was a pleasure to deal with.

Immaculate and updated property

We absolutely loved our stay! Centrally located to everything in town, and the unit itself and relatively new and we loved the granite and stainless steel appliances. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and perfectly functioning.

We have lived and worked in Silicon Valley for over 10 years and Bear Valley is the perfect escape from a hectic week.

Easy drive to Bear Valley from the South Bay. Only 3.5 hours by car. We leave in the evening and drive up while the kids sleep. At the condo we pull into the garage and take them up in the elevator. Most of the time they don't even wake up.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Park your car in the garage and enjoy Bear Valley. Ski from condo to cross country center. Downhill resort is only a 10 min shuttle (runs every 30mins on weekends and holidays). Ski back via the 'Home Run' trail to the condo. New for 2019 season the shuttle is no longer free. Please check the Bear Valley Website for more information.
