My friends and I stayed in Anatoly's place as it was located very close (15 min walk and 3min drive) from Vetta Nordic Spa. The space was equipped with the main kitchen necessities that we needed to make our stay more comfortable. It comfortably fit three adults. Anatoly was very quick to respond to my messages as well.

It was beautiful, it’s nice that it’s right by so many different things so if you like hiking or outdoor activities this is the place to stay but if you like a more indoor atmosphere the town of Barrie is about 30 minutes away and it has everything there!

The guest area with the pool was great! Communication with property owner was fine until we had a concern and then we heard nothing back. There were hairs all over the bedding - we were told we could go into laundry and get new ones. The pillow had a blood stain on it - no way were we just putting a cover over it. The bathroom counter was dirty. The worst part was the paper thin walls - we could hear absolutely everything in the room next to us including someone being violently sick all night which woke us up. I get they can’t control their neighbours but we shouldn’t have been able to hear it all. We ended up leaving a day early at 6am because of the nosies and the host never replied to me. The shower has no pressure. The kitchenette was fine but based on cleanliness of rest of the room we were hesitant to use anything.

Great place

I had an excellent stay. The room was as expected and clean. My only complaint would be the shower head, a new one would be nice, however that wouldn't prevent me from booking again. I would recommend this place! It was nice and quiet and it's nice and close to Vetta Nordic Spa.

The property was perfect for what we needed. It was 1 adult and 2 kids and with the king bed and pull out couch there was plenty of room. Really enjoyed the deck to sip my morning coffee. They have a new Keurig machine in the room, worked great. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the water pressure in the shower, I think it’s the shower head. It pinches the skin, it’s too strong. I would stay here again for sure.

The room was clean. Communication with host was good. Kitchenette (very small) but served its purpose. The shower head needs to be replaced. There were people on the upper level and they stomped around quite a bit. Very light water coming out, difficult to shower. Overall, the room served its purpose.

A shower head is new one and has three different settings for a water spray. Some guests complained a shower flow was too strong, others too weak. Everyone should use a switch on a shower head.

Fantastic Experience!

This host was easy to communicate with and he responded quickly to any question or message I sent. The room was very clean and well maintained. This room exceeded our expectations and so did the pool/fitness area. We plan to book with this host next time we are in town.

The unit was neat and clean. Nice property overall. We used the community BBQ, worked well. Pool was nice. Coffee maker (Keurig) was broken upon arrival. 2.5 rolls of toilet paper for a 7 day stay for 2 adults - I might recommend a bit more.The owners were very responsive to emails and communication.Overall, we were happy with our stay. Thank you.

Tracey, thanks for a fair review. The broken coffee maker was replaced with a new one. We always keep few additional rolls of a toilet paper in Laundry room. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Great place to stay while visiting family in the area

The space looked exactly as advertised. It was clean, well stocked with kitchen essentials and one of the best amenities was the free laundry facilities. The host, Anatoly, was very responsive and answered my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the pool was only open from 12pm to 8pm. (I would love a morning or late night swim as we were out visiting family all day). But that's up to the complex, not the host. Thanks so much for the great stay (and affordable price!).

Beautiful location, with all the amenities you need.

Easy check in process, We stayed in one of 2 units from host Anatoly. Bedding was fresh and clean with ample extra bedding and towels. Shower is spacious and we were supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a quaint balcony out front with two wooden lounge chairs for you enjoyment. An outdoor/indoor pool are also available for use with your keycard. The location is approximately 35 minutes from Wasaga beach which was one of the highlights of our trip. Once again our pets were welcomed and this is a third stay for our family with host Anatoly in this location. I look foreword to subsequent bookings for what seems to be an annual event. Cheers!

We had an overall positive stay, largely due to the excellent property manager, who was very communicative, responsive, and professional throughout our visit.The location is great: close to the ski area, spa, and amenities, and not far from restaurants, which made getting around very easy. While the unit itself could benefit from an upgrade, that was not an issue for us.However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness upon arrival. The kitchen and bathrooms were not clean. Glasses and cups had visible dirt from past use and needed to be washed before use, the counters were quite dirty, and the toilet was especially unclean, including the toilet seat, which we had to clean before using. This was unexpected and detracted from our first impression.We were also concerned about the condition of the shared amenities. The pool change rooms had visible mold, and the gym had multiple beams that appeared rotten, along with very poor air quality. Additionally, the lifeguard did not intervene when another guest entered the hot tub with an open wound, which was unsettling from a health perspective.These issues seem more related to building management and the condo board rather than the individual property manager, who otherwise did a great job. With improvements to cleaning standards and common-area maintenance, this could be a much better overall experience.

That's very confusing us review. The unit especially bathroom was properly cleaned as always, so anyone can check all previous mostly 5-star reviews.

The location is great, there are lots of other options.

The location is great! I felt like the kitchen was missing basic items like a knife, and we had to buy more toilet paper (only a couple of rolls were there). I asked for extra time at check out (which was granted). Then was harassed and charged for another day. I don't feel like there was great communication. I would like to stay in this area again, just not at this unit.

Property is clean and owners are really nice I would recommend this place to family and friends owners communication is good they help u every way they can! I accidentally locked my card inside and I was freaking out and the owners sent help so fast lol I didn’t even get to blink my eye!!Thanks again we enjoyed our stay!! Very happy we got to stay there :)

Cozy suite for two

The condo is perfect for two people. Nicely decorated and all the amenities that you would need are in the unit. Walking distance to the spa, indoor/outdoor pool and access to Horseshoe Valley chairlift (top of mountain). Owner responded pleasantly and quickly to any questions. We would rent again.

Overnight stay

Nice accessible small room. No tv wasn’t ideal and the movie selection was not good. Extra blankets in closet were dirty and hairy but over all good sleep quiet area.

A place where you will feel welcomed

On two separate occasions we were welcomed by Anatoly through the VRBO app. When most adds did not allow for pets they were welcomed here. A nice place to walk your dog, enjoy swimming at the community pool or have a BBQ. A favorite from what I saw was families and friends sitting around a fire after the sun has set. Accommodations are very clean and basic essentials are available in the kitchenette. Would highly recommend. Even my two cats were welcomed last minute and had had an enjoyable stay sitting on the window sill or sleeping under the bed.

Stay close to Vetta spa

We stayed for a weekend (2 nights) and found the location very convenient—great spot if you’re planning to visit Hockley Valley Resort or Vetta Spa. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was prompt and responsive in communication, which we appreciated. It was also a nice touch to have complimentary soap and shampoo, and we were happy that the unit was dog-friendly.However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bedding. There were visible bodily fluid stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases, which made us quite uncomfortable. We ended up using our own blanket to sleep on top of the bed. The hair dryer in the bathroom was also quite dusty. Additionally, noise from the upstairs unit late at night—people walking around and moving things—made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.That said, the unit is located in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, and the main property lobby has some nice shared amenities. With improved cleanliness and better soundproofing, this could be a great place to stay.
