Little Cottage with Pavilion and Fire Pit

The Cedar Cottage has everything to offer to guest looking for a peaceful getaway just outside the Newnan city limits. This cozy cottage sits on a large partial fenced acre lot. All the fine details have been considered for your enjoyable stay. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, full kitchen, and living room. There is a large covered front porch with rocking chairs. Also, there is a large covered back porch with an outdoor table and seating to enjoy those outdoor meals. One of the most stunning features of the property is the courtyard with a small vineyard. A flagstone walkway from the cottage leads to a covered pavilion. Also located in the courtyard is a fire pit area with seating, horseshoe pit, cornhole game, grape vineyard, berry bushes, and many other fruit trees. Seating is provided in the pavilion which allows friends and family to sit back and relax in the peaceful vineyard setting. Guest can enjoy any fruit that is in season during their stay and firewood is provided for the fire pit. ***No parties or large gatherings of more than 6 people are allowed at the cottage unless approved.****

We've stayed at this house for the past three years for a cycling event we put on. We really only use it for a place to crash from exhaustion, so we never get to utilize all the amenities, but it's well furnished, equipped and clean.

Perfect cottage in the woods!

This place was fantastic! Clean, everything we needed was provided, the wifi was good and it was very peaceful and quiet. It was close enough to the center of Newnan to make an easy trip in to town, but far enough out of town to feel secluded.We would stay again anytime!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. We slept great! The place was very clean. The drive is close to my sister's house. I am sure we will be back. Thanks for having us.

Cute retreat!!

This little house was perfect for a weekend getaway in the woods. Private and clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Wonderful for when you want to disconnect, but grocery stores and stuff are only 20-30 minutes away. :)

Wonderful cottage. Excellent getaway

A perfect location just outside of newnan. Very quite and peaceful cottage. The owners were very accommodating. Can’t recommend it enough.

Super clean and super cute! Everything seemed new and modern. Lovely back yard with a fire pit, porches with comfortable furniture surrounded by woods. We were in the area for a wedding at The Barn at Big Oaks (beautiful location just about a mile away) and this cottage was perfect. The host, Bryan, was super nice and helpful when I contacted him about the door lock. He helped me fix the problem by phone (this was not an issue, this was my error). I would definitely return to this property.

Cozy Retreat w Thoughtful Details

Wonderful, compact house with generous porches. Peaceful pavillion with chairs beside small vineyard and games (horseshoes and cornhole), great firepit. Nice sunsets in secluded woods. Well-appointed 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen w coffeemaker. Highly recommend for peaceful retreat.

Fantastic Stay!

The owner was very accommodating. The location was very nice, secluded and very quiet. Everything that was needed was provided from coffee, to soap/shampoo to fire starter and firewood. There was also a grill which came in handy. The cottage is very nicely decorated, everything is renovated and well taken care of. The wooded area is so very pretty, the backyard is just wonderful, the fruit trees and vines makes it very unique.

Beautiful home!

We had an amazing stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The best part of our stay was the fire pit and the beautiful backyard! Plenty of seating and the host supplied us with everything we needed. There is a dog that will come to the front door or and the backyard. He is adorable and harmless! The sweetest dog ever! We would love to stay here again!

Great vacation spot

Pictures do not do this place justice! It is so clean and everything is so thought through with spacing! It may seem small but it was perfect!! The roads heading to it were so pretty and made us feel like we were in the mountains. The outdoor area is beautiful and so peaceful! Perfect for building a fire and reading a book. It was nice and quiet with no neighbors around. Owner made communication so easy as well! They always responded in a very timely manner! We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

Overnight Stay

Omg this little place is adorable! We stayed for one night, so we didn’t have to drive home from a wedding. It is small and quaint, but was perfect for three of us. Beds were comfy, bathroom is updated and nice. Actually, the whole place feels updated and new. We wanted to take advantage of the pavilion and fire pit, but we just did not have time. It was a very nice quick getaway from the city, and I definitely would go back for another quick getaway again. Love the front porch rockers too. The place was VERY clean. When you have a kid with two autoimmune diseases, that’s super important to us. Overall the place was a blessing to us this weekend.

Very nice quiet place. On the whole it was a very nice little cottage. I did not care for the lighting as it was white light which I cannot stand like fluorescent. Would have been nice to have an option for table lamps. Also there were very limited resources as far as trying to cook there. There was not one sharp knife in the house which I kind of understand. Would have been nice to have a toaster as well. All in all it was a nice stay however

Thank you for staying at the cottage and we would love to have you stay again in the future. We have added a complete butcher block knife set to the cottage from your recommendation. There were multiple lamps in each bedroom and a corner lamp in the living room that all worked. They are not on switches and have to be turned on manually, so we are sorry if that detail wasn’t explained. There is a 21 piece nonstick cook set, 2 slice toaster, and a blender located in the corner base kitchen cabinet. We are sorry if you couldn’t locate those items during your stay and we will add a note in the Welcome Letter on how to locate those items for future guest. Thank you again for staying at the cottage and please let us know if we can be of any assistance in the future.
