The Lodge at North Star Properties: where rustic meets luxury. Completely renovated in 2022, this one-of-a-kind cabin was transformed from a lakeside bar and restaurant (Tomahawk Lodge Bar & Grill) into a northwoods dream cabin. Your first steps inside will reveal a large entry and game room with pool table and poker/game table. To the right, a hallway with three bedrooms (a master king suite with 3/4 bath, and two queen bedrooms) and a full bath with tub. Straight ahead beyond the game room you will be greeted with panoramic views of Somo Lake in the open kitchen and living area. Access to the second master king suite with 3/4 bath is off the living room.

The kitchen was designed around the original bar, featuring a live edge bar top, built-in ice machine, original bar cooler, and seating for 9. The great room showcases the original stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings with the original beams, a 72" smart tv, and leather furniture. A custom dining table with seating for 12 brings the space together. A sliding glass door next to to the fireplace lets in spectacular sunset lake views, and provides access to a new composite deck that overlooks the patio, fire pit, private beach & dock. Adjacent to the kitchen is the half bath, and short hallway that leads to the lower level stairs. As you descend you'll notice an original mural of Somo Lake that was done in 1999 - we have kept this and other relics from the original Tomahawk Lodge Bar to preserve some of the building's history. The lower level includes a queen bedroom, a bedroom with queen over queen bunks, a full bathroom with tub, and another living area with leather couches, smart tv, and gas fireplace.

We have a large parking lot to accommodate your trailers, so bring your boat, ATV's, or snowmobiles! The Lodge is located directly on the Northwoods Passage trails (Zone 1) and next door to the boat landing. Less driving, more adventures!

Perfect for kids, the sandy, walk-out beach is steps away and includes a private boat dock, patio and fire pit. Somo Lake is a 400 acre, full recreational lake with clean water. We provide many amenities to make travel with kids easier - pack n play, kid dishes, baby monitor, sand toys and more.

The Lodge at North Star Properties has completed the Lincoln County Department of Health inspection, and is in compliance with all Lincoln County Zoning short term rental requirements, holding the appropriate permits.
