I do want to clarify a few points: • The kitchen overhead lights are controlled by multiple switches, which may have been difficult to locate. I apologize for the confusion. • The home was originally built in the 1930s, when railings were not required for narrow stairways. We have preserved that historic layout, though I understand it may have felt unfamiliar. The portable AC unit in the living room had filled with water, which is a common maintenance need. I sent a short video showing how to drain it so it could continue working during your stay. • The $100 refund was processed on August 9th, prior to checkout, to acknowledge the inconvenience you experienced. We take guest concerns seriously and continue to make improvements to the property while also balancing its historic charm.
