Leann and I are your hosts and our goal is to not only provide you with a safe and clean environment but also the opportunity to create memories with family and friends. Our home is adjacent to Terrace Hills GC and you will find outdoor deck amenities that you will not find at any other Altoona area daily rental; golf course views, hot tub, and fire pit! Our calendar nightly rate is for 2 guests. Additional guest(s), $20.00 per person, per night. Approximately 1,300 square feet, remodeled in 2020. Sleeps 7 - 3 bedrooms, 1 king, 2 queens, and single pull out in sun room. 1 1/2 bathrooms. Guests have access to the entire first floor. Terrace Hills GC begins golf course maintenance operations at daylight. Tee times begin at 7 AM. You may hear golf course maintenance equipment at daylight and golfers on the first tee box at 7 AM. Mini golf summer hours 9 AM to 10 PM. THANKS for viewing.

Absolutely lovely! Left us a bottle of wine. The house was sparkling clean, so cute, and well kept. The grounds were beautiful, the hosts couldnā€™t have been more lovely and pleasant!

Leann left us a nice welcome note with some treats which was very sweet. The home was comfortable and clean and nicely stocked with supplies and towels. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub on the deck overlooking the golf course. Being middle-aged women, we appreciated the fan in each of the bedrooms lol

This house was absolutely perfect. The house itself was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners have thought of every need - they even left snacks for our arrival. The little things the owners have thought of made our stay memorable. We arrived after dark and the front light was on and lights were on in the living area. The temperature inside the house was perfect. The towels are amazing and plentiful. The yard is large and private with golf course views. You can even walk next door to the clubhouse for lunch. The patio was beautiful with a hot tub (which unfortunately we didnā€™t have time to use). The location is close enough to Altoona that everything is a couple minutes away, but it has the peacefulness of being away from the noise and lights of town. This place is a gem. We will definitely return.

Iowa state baseball 2025

We were lucky to go to i state baseball with our grandson. We obtained this beautiful property so we could all stay together. It was perfect and will look to stay here again.

Outstanding property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They paid attention to every detail. The house sits on hole number one of the golf course and when you sit on the deck, itā€™s a peaceful scenic view. The hot tub works well. My wife and my daughter used it and enjoyed it. We watched Fourth of July fireworks from the deck as well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything in it you would need. I would recommend it to anyone headed to Altoona. I almost forgotā€¦the chairs! All of the chairs in the house are comfortable. I stayed at a VRBO once where they were not so I greatly appreciated the chairs! I highly recommend this place.

Nice little getaway for us. Hosts are extremely easy to communicate with. Very efficient and will do anything to accommodate your needs. Hot tub was relaxing as well as sitting by the fire. Being right on the golf course/putt putt - if in house you would never know, but if outside great entertainment! Would book again!!

Wonderful home away from home. Very clean with a wonderful deck to sit and have coffee and watch the golfers. Of course it is close enough to walk to the couse for a couple rounds! Grandkids enjoyed the games and we enjoyed the special greetings. Will stay again on our next trip to Iowa.

Relaxing stay

We love this property and location. Itā€™s peaceful and relaxing with the hot tub and in a quiet location but still close to the city. Comfortable bed and furniture. Plenty of space for us. Easy checkout. We will be back!

Pleasant surprise

Our group could not say enough about how wonderful this house is. It was one of my best VRBO stays. The home is very well appointed and welcoming. Owners left no stone unturned with great directions for use of everything.in the home. Deck was inviting and very relaxing. We loved watching the golfers with our morning coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this house. Don't be surprised if we return and actually golf....not just mini golf!

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here - lots of room for everyone to spread out. The beds were comfortable. The space was very clean. Lots of towels available during our stay. Leann was super friendly and even left our boys a sweet welcoming treat (which they loved!). We brought pets and Leann graciously provided crates, dog food dishes, and poop bags. We loved that the home was on the edge of the golf course but also had a beautiful country view from the front of the home. The home is within driving distance of several restaurants as well a grocery store if you wish to stay in. The black stone was fun for a big breakfast and she provided nice written instructions for use. Leann provided lots of kitchen utensils and other items to allow us to cook in the home. The hot tub was nice and just as described. We would definitely recommend this space to others! Our family put this home in one of our top stays šŸ˜Š

The Altoona Iowa golf course house

This house is a great place to stay. The golf course club house is right next door, by the way an excellent course. The owner is super to deal with everything was perfect. All the beds were very comfortable. This place even has a basement to get away from storms. We would definitely go back and stay again.

I have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes, but this place by far is the cleanest and most welcoming stay I have ever experienced! Leann was so great about communicating and making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. The house was located in a great place to travel about in a short time. My wife and I owned Terrace Hills, the golf course was built and operated by the Riding family for 57 years. We had an opportunity to sell the golf course in December of 2019, but we kept the home. Our original plan was to VRBO the home in 2020 but market conditions didn't lend itself to daily rentals until 2023.
