Fall hiking

Our family spent the weekend and had an absolute great time. The kids were sad to leave. Our place was cozy and made for great family time!

The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. The house was clean and cozy. We have already discussed returning. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend to others to stay here. It was just lovely.

Weekend Birthday Getaway

We spent a weekend at this beautiful property with our kids, some family, and friends. It is located close to the trails and was a great property to spend our mornings and evenings in! Very room for a group of us with plenty of gathering space inside and outside. Property was clean and had great amenities!

family getaway

The cabin was spacious and clean! The 2 decks were large, and it felt like we were in a tree house. More important to us is that it gave a space for the kids to play and the adults to relax! Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Great Place for Escape Weekend

The cabin was a perfect spot for four couples and two dogs to spend a long weekend. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby followed by cool drinks in the hot tub. The well-stocked kitchen was terrific as we cooked all of our meals at the cabin. I'm just glad I didn't have to walk up that driveway!

Father's Day Family Weekend

We enjoyed grilling, playing games, visiting the local caves, the deck - sitting and listening to the birds, the hot tub, just about everything! The cabin was comfortable and roomy for 7 adults and one 18-month old. Thank You! The Houk Family

Really nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. However. It was “recommended” that we have 4 wheel drive. But you absolutely have to have it. It’s not an option summer or winter. That hill is straight up and gravel. Just keep that in mind if you plan to stay here. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful retreat!

Property was spacious and well appointed. We had a family group of 10. First floor master bedroom was perfect for my 80-year old parents. Basement bedroom and extra family room were great for young adults who stayed up late and played pool. House was immaculately clean. We spent a great deal of time on the covered porch which had two large picnic tables making for a convenient spot for dinners and games. We also made use of the fire pit for s'mores and music. We would definitely stay here again! Had communication with the host regarding recylcling and question was answered promptly.

I guess I just expected more for what it cost to stay there. There were nice showers and the beds were comfortable but the tv was confusing and the internet was slow. Also the pool table had bent sticks, no chalk and was too tight for the area where it was sitting. I'm not really complaining though because overall it was nice to stay there. I just thought you could get a review that would help improve the experience for the next group

Our trip at the Ash Cave cabin was amazing! There was more than enough room for our group on multiple levels, two decks, a spacious living room area and tons of places to sit together and eat. We especially loved the upper loft area with the single beds. As a group over 30 years old, no one is trying to climb into a bunk bed anymore so it was great to have all the sleeping areas. Also the fact that it was 3 full bathrooms and an additional half bath was incredible for all of us getting ready.The hill the cabin sits on is NO JOKE. They are not lying when they say an all wheel vehicle is necessary to get up. We loved the hot tub, picnic tables, double deck, tall ceilings, cozy cabin feel, the proximity to hiking trails, the layout of the cabin, and the direct and speedy communication with the host. They reached out several times to make sure we had everything we needed and more. It felt like staying at a family’s cabin, with a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms with anything you could need and wifi (definitely necessary with no service in southern ohio). We LOVED this property! They really go above and beyond.
