The cabin was very cute & cozy with good space for our family Christmas get away for 5 adults and 4 kids. The beds and accommodation were good, and the hot tub was nice, but we loved the porch and the amble seating for relaxing. The game room was fun for us all. My input would be to say that we could have used a bit more “starter amenities” like garbage bags and dishwasher tablets and towels, for a group of 9 we went through things very quickly and had to restock and do laundry to have enough towels for everyone for our 5 day stay. So my advice would be to bring extra supplies from home. And also - please be very careful going up and down the mountain roads - especially at night - go very slow and use your GPS to see which way the road is curving because it is very very dark going up the mountain at night. The cabin is closer to Gatlinburg than it is to “downtown” Sevierville, so plan your grocery shopping/orders appropriately. The overall area of the cabin is mountainous, but there were also close by neighbors that have rosters and chickens, which I think added to the rustic feeling and made it feel “real”. However, one of their neighbors has quite the collection of “yard accessories” (i.e. junk) that kept it a little too real when you spent a large sum of money on a rental, only to feel like you are maybe not in a great area.

The cabin was fine, comfortable and convenient. We had a few issues mainly with property descriptions that were inaccurate. It was described as private and secluded, dogs allowed. But the day before we found out alot of dog restrictions, had to pay another 75, it is not at all private, the pics are deceptive, there are trailers all around with a dog on a chain and roosers crowing (we have them at home so its not like it was an issue) but we booked to get away from everything and this was NOT the case. We had another dog that was constantly in the yard as well. The bathrooms had nice tubs but they stated for showers only. The walls were so thin that you couldnt sneeze or breath without everyone upstairs or down stairs hearing it. I could have complete conversations through the floor or wall without even having to try, The ice machine in the fridge either didnt work or was not hooked up properly. I just feel a bit deceived from when i booked it bc the information on Vrbo didnt match. keep in mind that this is rental agency and you have to sign a long contract and they wouldnt release the door code bc they didnt get a copy of my ID although i did send it in 3 different ways, but everytime i called it seemed that the call center was outsourced to another country and they would have to take a message and wait for someone to call me back. needless to say we had a good trip, but it was not what we planned, and we wouldnt pick this cabin again for the reasons i listed.

Wasn’t overly happy about the fact that there’s houses/ cabins in every corner of the cabin that clearly the advertisement indicated, secluded!!! must have a different version of seclusion than I have. Beds on first floor not very comfortable, past there years of use, but cabin is nice otherwise.

Expected better

We stayed with 8 people. While the listing sleeps 10, there is not 1 room in the house big enough to sit 8 or dine with 8. There is no counter space and the kitchen was ant infested. Pest control was called but it did not take care of the problem during our stay. We tried putting our food in totes and the ants got in them too. We are now dealing with ants in our cars while driving home. This is a major problem that needs to be taken care of before your next guest stays.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful! Plenty of room for our family. Nice hot tub. Love the porch! We spent a lot of nights out there sitting in the rocking chairs talking and hanging out. Overall, great experience!

Cabin was clean and beautiful. Property was gorgeous but grounds closest to cabin needed a little TLC, specifically the driveway, which was difficult to get in and out of. Neighbors have free range chickens that often come on the property, but were not a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Cabin in the Woods

Our stay here was honestly delightful! The drive up to the cabin was a tiny bit scary at first but, that's just how mountain roads can be. The cabin itself was very quaint and served everything we needed it for. The property managing company was very easy to get a hold of when the washer unfortunately broke. Would definitely stay here again!

early mornings

We chose this cabin due to its proximity to the Rocky Top Sports Complex for a weekend volleyball tournament. Unfortunately due to a scheduling conflict we needed to cancel but the PM would only offer 50% refund even after 24 hours of booking. It’s their terms, lesson learned on our part was just hoping they would be more considerate. Regardless it worked out for us because our other plans ended up being rained out so we made it ! The check in directions were easy to read and straight forward directions. The road into the cabin is very tight it’s a mountain road for sure. The only negative is the neighbors are residents and extreme hoarders. Trash was all over their property which made the outside view pretty unsightly. They also had free range chickens and the Roosters were all over the place crowing all hours of the day and night. Not sure there is anything the PM could do about that so just be aware. When we first arrived the WiFi was out as well and the maintenance guy was able to get us reconnected (teenagers) the next day. There was great cell phone service so that wasn’t an issue. Otherwise the hot tub (short walk outside) was pleasant and the game room was great!

Terrible experience

I am writing to share my concerns about the experience during my recent stay at the cabin. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my family's safety and comfort.Upon arrival, I discovered that the garbage disposal was not functioning, and the side door did not close or lock properly, leaving us feeling insecure. While my grandson was showering, the faucet broke under water pressure, ejecting a piece of the fixture with force. Thankfully, he was not injured. We immediately contacted the office as the water would not stop running. A staff member instructed us on how to locate and close the main water valve, leaving us without water for two hours after a long journey.When maintenance finally arrived, they found that a spoon was stuck in the garbage disposal, causing it to malfunction and clog the drain. Attempting to use the dishwasher then added pressure to the pipes, further complicating the situation. These issues made it incredibly inconvenient to cook for my family and manage daily tasks.Additionally, I was disappointed with the state of the neighborhood, which appeared unkempt and far from the relaxing environment I had anticipated.I contacted the number provided in the welcome letter within the specified 4-hour window, yet I was informed that repairs could not be addressed until the following day. This delay was unsatisfactory, as these problems were critical to the safety and functionality of the cabin.While I understand that u

Misleading Description of Property

We arrived after dark and in the rain. It was advertised that the roads to access the cabin are winding and curvy. It should be noted that the last 2 to 3 miles are literally a one way road with many switchbacks and hairpin turns with a very steep drop off on the side of the mountain with no guardrail. The doorknob on the front door was loose. The handles on the refrigerator were loose and falling off the floors were sticky and the table was sticky and not cleaned from what appeared to be syrup. The dishes and silverware were put away dirty and some of the pots and pans had food on them. The Mr. coffee maker was dirty and the Keurig coffee maker had a terrible smell in the water reservoir and we did not make coffee while there. The fireplace put off a gas like smell and we didn’t use it.The tub on the main floor did not drain while showering and the bed sagged because they had no center supports under the mattress. Floors under the beds were dirty. Legends Ultimate video game did not work. The very sharp hooks hanging on the wall behind the foosball game were dangerous and hanging in a dangerous spot. Serenity and breathtaking views were roosters crowing and hillside littered with trash and debris on surrounding properties. More attention needs to be spent on cleanliness and repairs. The on line pictures and description of the cabin were misleading. We definitely would not recommend or stay here again.
