Thank you for your review Cynthia. We respect our neighbors’ rights to do what they like on their property the same as we do with our property. It’s unfortunate that your overall rating of the property does not reflect your statement that the property was “fantastic” and you chose to give an inaccurate rating based on circumstances unrelated to the property. Pictures of the pool are provided on the property’s profile, which you were aware of before reserving so it is unclear as to what you were expecting. Thank you and wish you the best.

To give future guests some more color on the points you mentioned: The room with the single bed upstairs is a separate room with a door to the main bedroom. There are very few signs in yards, they should not be off-putting - it’s an owner’s right what they put on their lawn and beyond our control - most neighbors don’t really care. We have a great relationship with our neighbors and they understand that there are some short term rentals in the area. The neighborhood is residential, serene and quiet - and there have never been any issues with any of the neighbors. The skeletons are hilarious and should definitely not be viewed as concerning - they are customary New England-style Halloween decorations that our neighbors put up in seasonally. :)
