Loved the room - beautifully decorated and airy with an amazing view. Couldn’t ask for better hosts, they thought of everything and helped to make our stay very inviting.

Gracious hosts who welcomed us with a bottle of wine on the large deck. Had to leave early for the airport and host had a gourmet caprese omelette ready for us.

We had the best time staying here! John and his wife are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The view from the deck was gorgeous! We will definitely be going back!

The apartment was clean and beautiful, and the private deck with views of the sea was stunning!! Our hosts were absolutely lovely and thoughtful, and generous with so many surprise amenities throughout our stay. Tea and delicious gourmet breakfast delivered to our room in the morning was a delight! We had plenty of time to walk to the beach and enjoy a swim before checkout. A

Lovely weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time staying with John and Muna. They were so welcoming and accommodating. Truly went above and beyond as hosts. Their home is gorgeous. We stayed in the penthouse apartment atop their home. The jacuzzi was amazing, the bed was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, and the views of the ocean were stunning. We felt so at home and taken care of. Will definitely be back again.

Really beautiful home with expansive deck and ocean views. The flat is on the top floor, so not especially great for those with difficulty walking or lugging suitcases. The host was extremely helpful and walked my suitcase up the stairs. The kitchen is open to guests with plentiful drinks and items for breakfast. Plus there's a stocked frig and microwave near the upstairs flat. King bed quite comfortable and two-person jacuzzi welcome upon arrival. We arrived with a nor'easter threatening but we were able to take a morning walk on the beach before the rain. The host graciously offered for us to stay beyond checkout since no one had booked for that evening. Really appreciated his hospitality and generosity.

Ocean anniversary getaway

John is an incredibly gracious host. He keeps a beautiful and spacious penthouse style nest with an amazing view. John was sure to greet us at the door and give us a wonderful tour of the house and property. The room was perfectly stocked with the most delicious snacks and specialty coffee. i had mentioned in a message it was our anniversary and there was a lovey homemade cake wait for us. John also took the time to wake us down to one of his private beaches and set us up with chairs, paddles, lifejackets and two kayaks! Over all the entire trip was prefect. Thank you John.

Thank you for your kind comments and for being such great and easy going guests. I believe it is a great location in a bucolic beach community and I enjoy sharing it. It is a work in progress and I keep making improvements - often guided by guest comments.

Quiet and serene location. There are a lot of stairs from the entry to the penthouse but the hosts were incredibly kind, kitchen was stocked and the views were breathtaking. I would stay here again.

John and Mursa were great hosts. They were welcoming and provided everything we needed and gave us the space and privacy as well. The jewel of the property is a private balcony/patio that gives you a stunning view of the beaches and the sound. There is a full kitchen and well stocked with all the spirits and libations you could ever need.The beach is a three minute walk from the property and very spacious. Bring your own chairs, but they have a great wagon and other amenities for the beach. There is an airport about 10 minutes away (Tweed) and the area is part of landing/take-off path.If you're lucky, John may provide a fresh omlet, or Mursa will have some cut up watermelon ready in the fridge. This is just indicative of their concern that you are enjoying your experience. If stairs are an issue, this is not the right location for you. But if tremendous views and wonderful breezes throughout the night are priorities, then 117 Morgan in East Haven, is where you need to be.
