Cozy up in The Smoky Mountain Nest, a charming and chic 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo in the Riverstone Resort & Spa of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. With the comforts of home, easy access to downtown fun, you'll find all you need for a wonderful stay in the Smokies. Book your honeymoon, plan a romantic weekend, pack up the family for a vacation, or spend a few days with friends in the Great Smoky Mountains!

In the mornings, easily prepare breakfast and brew some coffee in the fully equipped kitchen. It offers stainless steel appliances, dishes and utensils, cooking tools, and drinkware. Have your meals in the eat-in kitchen or take your plate to the small table on the balcony. The living room is perfect for laid-back days, with a sofa and armchair with a matching ottoman, a flatscreen TV, and a beautiful stone fireplace.

At night, retreat to the welcoming bedroom that has a king-size bed, bedside lamps, windows with mountain views, and a TV. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and nice stone countertop. When you want some fresh air, step onto the balcony and enjoy the breeze – with coffee or tea in the morning and a drink at the end of the day!

*The Smoky Mountain Nest does not have access to amenities within the Riverstone Resort & Spa, except for the spa (open to the public as well).

This resort is great for both kids and adults! The heated outdoor lazy River is a hit with the kids and they also enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub.

There was a few issues . We've stayed with riverstone several times but not through a private owner . We only had one washcloth for 4 days, there was slime in the tub and moving bacteria or some sort of growth in the tub as well. I had to clean it before we could use it. When sending messages r calling for help we never got help or and answer from anyone. When paying over 840 dollars you should have a little better service .

We’re really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced, especially with cleanliness, limited linens, and the lack of response during your stay. That is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating that must have been, particularly given the cost of the reservation. Having to clean the tub yourself and feeling unsupported when reaching out is unacceptable. We are addressing housekeeping standards and linen inventory to prevent this from happening again. Annual Ladies Trip

We visited the area for the Women of Joy Conference. Everything was as expected during our visit. The condo was clean and tidy with all the needed amenities. Surprisingly, the sofa bed was quite comfortable. The location was prefect with easy access to all the local attractions. We would definitely stay again!

Great and will stay again!

The Riverstone Resort and Spa was exactly what we needed. The amenities were great and the Spa package we bought was amazing. The only thing I would mention is simply have better instructions on how to access the pool and hot tub. No complaints. Great and will stay again!

The condo we stayed in was nice, clean, and in a good location. There was a small problem with the door locking mechanism which was promptly fixed day 2 by the maintenance guy. No other issues, definitely recommend and will using them again

The condo was fine it was Cabins for You that was the issue. After charging my card and sending in the verification information three times they still left us outside of our room for 2 hours waiting for them to send us a key code. It was only when I pushed for a refund that they provided the code. Then continued to send text daily during our stay threatening to deactivate the key code unless we sent in the verification information again. We stay at the Riverstone twice per year and have always used VRBO for our stay. After this we will go directly through Riverstone.

We’re truly sorry for the stressful experience you had at check-in, Chastity. Waiting outside your condo for hours is absolutely unacceptable, and we completely understand how upsetting that must have been. We value the security of our guests and unfortunately never received the proper verification on our end, which led to the repeated requests. That said, the way this was handled clearly caused more frustration than reassurance, and we regret deeply that it affected your stay. The ongoing texts and threats of deactivation should have been managed far more thoughtfully. We’ll be reviewing this process closely so future guests don’t have to go through the same situation. It’s especially disappointing to hear this experience has changed how you plan to book in the future. We’re sincerely sorry for the trouble this caused and truly regret that this was your impression of us.

Overall a great centralized location to stay based off of what we wanted to do. Location was clean, bed was comfortable, washer/dryer and standard bathroom amenities provided(towel, washcloth, etc…). Amenities from staying at Riverstone such as the lazy river, pool, fitness room, etc… were not provided but details were clear at time of booking. If you enjoy sitting on a balcony, this unit might not be for you since it’s very narrow. Do watch out for fruit flies or gnats in the unit but the only issue we had with that is some made their way into our coffee in the morning and a new cup had to be brewed, otherwise we ate out. Be careful on the decorative knob on the door accessing the washer/dryer, there’s a protruding metal piece that my girlfriend cut herself on twice. We had to go to a nearby Publix for band aids and neosporin.

We’re really sorry parts of your stay turned out to be frustrating, Piers. It’s upsetting to hear about the fruit flies in the unit and especially concerning that the decorative knob caused an injury—that’s absolutely not acceptable. We truly regret that you and your girlfriend had to deal with that during what should have been a relaxing trip. The narrow balcony is a fair point, and we’ll work on making that detail clearer for future guests. We’re also taking steps to treat the issue with gnats so they don’t become a nuisance again. The knob on the laundry door will be fixed right away to prevent anyone else from being hurt. We’re glad to hear the location, cleanliness, and comfort of the bed were positives, but that doesn’t make up for the negatives you experienced. Thank you for being so detailed in your feedback—it genuinely helps us improve. We’re sincerely sorry this was your experience.

Dirty bedding and used washcloths in shower

At first glance the property was clean. After further inspection, there was smeared spots of dried white crusty substance on the comforter as well as dirty marks on the sheets and short wiry pubic like hair on the sheets. The blankets in the closets had snot like smears on them. Also, there was a dirty dry washcloth from a previous renter hanging on the shower curtain rod. I stayed up until 2am washing the bedding with my laundry pods (none were provided). When I complained I was only offered a $50 visa gift card.

Nice Place, Poor Service

The property itself was fine...perfect location, nice resort. But communication was poor. No instructions regarding pool pass or parking pass, batteries in TV remote were corroded and new batteries didn't work, dishwasher dirty inside etc. Biggest issue was that the keypad lock to the door didn't work after we first entered. We went for a walk around the resort property and were locked out of the unit. We tried multiple times and then called and left a message with the after hours service. No response. Everything was in the unit - car keys, money, ID, everything except our phone. Sent an email - still no response. It was Sunday night and we were stuck. Called again after close to an hour and got someone finally. It took multiple tries but she finally gave us a code that would work. She didn't seem too bothered by our situation and didn't really act with much urgency. I had to tell her multiple times where we were located. It was stressful and not something that should have happened. I would come to the property again, but not only directly with the resort.
