Summary:
Welcome to our fully renovated log cabin home nestled in Indian Lake, located in the heart of the Adirondack State Park. This charming mountain getaway boasts a rustic ambiance with modern amenities and stunning views of the surrounding peaks, for a comfortable and unforgettable stay. The cabin is on 2 acres of land within walking distance to town. Snowmobile/cross country ski access from driveway. 20 minutes from Gore/Oak MT. Close proximity to town offers easy access to all outdoor activities

The Space:
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom log cabin was fully renovated in 2023. Inside you will be greeted by a cozy living room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace, memory foam leather sectional, and 55'' TV. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Gated front deck offers a weber gas grill and stunning mountain views. Each bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress, double nightstands, 6 drawer dresser, humidifier, and ceiling fan. Linens and towels are included. Basement offers a Samsung washer and dryer as well as a custom built bar with seating for 6, 55'' TV, extra fridge, large speaker, ring toss and dart board. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor electric sauna or hot tub! House is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet, and central air with AC. Outdoor firepit with mountain views.

Guest Access:
Everything but a locked storage area in the basement.

The Neighborhood:
Located on a quiet cozy road within walking distance to town. Snowmobile and cross country ski access right out of the driveway.

Getting Around:
There is a lower and upper parking lot in the driveway, the upper lot is a little steep but makes it convenient for unloading luggage as the front door is in the rear of the house. Town is a 30 second drive away where you have access to the local bars and restaurants, as well as Stewarts.

Other Things to Note:
Driveway to upper parking lot is steep, the trade off of a gorgeous mountain view. In winter months all wheel drive is recommended. However there is parking at the lower section of the driveway.

This was our third stay at this property. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We like that it’s quiet and in a scenic location. The amenities are excellent and in great working order. The home is very clean and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable cabin

We really enjoyed this well equipped, clean and comfortable cabin. It had everything you could possibly need and more. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful cabin, so peaceful

Jake is a wonderful host. The cabin has everything, well stocked with herbs and spices, olive oil, coffee. Great BBQ and space to sit out and eat on the veranda. Loved the sauna and hot tub. We will be back! Loved the

Perfect, Peaceful Getaway

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at The Crow's Nest! It was a combination of beautiful and cozy, and was the perfect location to see the sights or to just enjoy the tranquility and breathtaking views from the front porch! There's plenty to do with lots of choices of games and movies, or relaxing in the hot tub. Jake was an exceptional host and one of the best ever! I hope we get the chance to return! It was just what we needed to relax and recharge! Definitely highly recommend! Thanks for an amazing stay, Jake!

Short stay at Jake's cabin

We had a great time. The weather was not so good, but we spent a lot of time by the fireplace reading and watching some movies. The cabin is very cozy and well maintained. Would highly recommend it!

R&R at the Cabin

A wonderful girls’ getaway! The cabin provided the perfect opportunity to just sit back and decompress. Everything is exactly as listed/pictured, if not better. I’ve never stayed in a rental that was so well stocked with cooking equipment, linens, entertainment, etc. Jake was very responsive and check-in/out was super smooth. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful cabin in a peaceful setting

Travelled with our son. Great location for day trips. Very clean and comfortable. Updated amenities were nice touch. Would return in future. Enjoyed hikes nearby to Panther Mt., Clear Pond, and Rock Lake Would highly recommend.

Mountain Getaway

This cabin is a perfect touch of cozy. The views from this cabin are beautiful. The property has all the amenities for relaxation both inside and outside. The place is very clean and has been updated nicely to compliment the cabin ambiance. The property owner is very responsive and thorough. We had a wonderful time during our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Excellent Experience

This was our second stay. Jake does an excellent job preparing for his guest's stay. The amenities are good, everything is in nice shape, and there is little that one needs that's not already there in order to enjoy your stay. We were return guests, and Jake has made some nice improvements over the last year. He's very responsive and very helpful which makes your stay all the more pleasant!

Great place to stay

Overall the property was great. The view of the mountains every morning was breathtaking. The house was perfect for me and my three friends. The sauna was great to use every night as well as a campfire afterwords. The only thing that sorta a let down was the town it was in. You had to drive 20+ minutes for the closest grocery store and an hour to get to Lake George. Other than that this place was definitely worth it!

Thoughtfulness and Details were amazing

The Crows Nest was absolutely fantastic. I came prepared with cooking oil, spices, tupperware, soaps, and paper products. I needed absolutely none of it, as Crows Nest was incredibly well stocked with all of the necessities to cook meals and prepare food to-go for hiking and boating adventures. I haven't stayed at a place with such amenities or attention to detail in a very long time. Cannot recommend the Crows Nest enough. Would love to come back!

Nice getaway

Excellent property in a beautiful location. My wife and I were on a 4-week road trip and were looking forward to having a place to do laundry, cook and just relax. The home's amenities are great especially the appliances and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, and the wi-fi was excellent. The home was clean and everything was in good working order. It's a nice location to do many things in the Adirondacks without investing hours to get from point A to B. Jake the owner was easy to communicate with, was responsive and helpful. We are highly likely to stay at this location again!

We had such an amazing week at this cabin in Indian Lake! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention to detail the host has put into this space. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked rental kitchens I’ve ever stayed in — I was able to make a full Thanksgiving dinner for four without needing a single extra item. The spice selection was fantastic, and every utensil, pan, and piece of serve ware I could possibly need was already there.The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly set up for an extended stay. The spa room and hot tub were such a treat and clearly well cared for — we used them multiple times throughout the week. Inside the cabin, we also got such a kick out of the millennial-dream DVD collection. It made for some great nostalgic movie nights!We really appreciated having access to both spa towels and bath towels, and the washer and dryer were a huge bonus for a long trip with kids. Everything was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully arranged.Communication with Jake was easy and responsive, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. The location is peaceful and exactly what you hope for in the Adirondacks — quiet, wooded, and close to trails, lakes, and all the natural beauty of the area.Overall, we truly loved our stay and would 100% return. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, and wonderfully cared-for home base in Indian Lake!

My favorite part of the property is hands down the stunning mountain views! The location of the property is withing walking distance to town. This makes it extremely convenient to access local restaurants and convenance stores as well as the nearby lakes and hiking trails.

What makes this property unique is that it has been fully renovated in the beginning of 2023. Everything in the house is practically new, from the furniture appliances and vinyl plank flooring all the way down to the HVAC system.
