It was a very nice property. The only thing it is on a hill side and bringing a boat or trailer in due to the angle of the driveway would be difficult to impossible. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay and very clean. There were bugs and spiders inside and out, note this Is in the woods but maybe a little prevention with inside bug control is needed.

Lake House of solitude

Absolutely loved the log-style cabin with up-to-date amenities inside. Thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of the lake and the nature all around. The property manager was great with communicating through the app. The check-in process was very easy and the property was well-maintained. Just what we were looking for to get away and relax.

Wonderful Lake House.

It was a great getaway. They had everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The only downside was the narrow road to the house and the steep driveway. I would still stay there again though. It was so peaceful and the beds were very comfortable.

We absolutely loved everything about this place! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed and had a cozy, homey feel that made us feel instantly comfortable. Although the weather wasn’t on our side—it rained during our entire two-day stay—we still had a great time. We just wish we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space a bit more. Hopefully next time!

Really fun and cute but

Lots of fun things in this cabin, its cute and in a good location but the upstairs had a bit of a ladybug infestation and the tub had a giant spider fly out of one of the jets so that was a fun surprise. Other than that it was a fun stay and we enjoyed it.

Beautiful

My husband and I stayed for a romantic weekend getaway. It was very clean, has everything you need. Very comfortable, felt right at home. We loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake.The view was absolutely stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for couples or a family. We did not have to leave to get anything, Doordash delivered. Highly recommend. We will stay again.

Our fall get away

The house and view is amazing. Total relaxation on the deck was great. My wife spent most of a day just sitting on pier looking at views. We understand your in the mountains so phone me be in and out. The internet didn’t work well so that may of been some of difficulty in communication. The one disappointment was that there is 2 kayaks to use but only 1 adult life jacket and 1 oar. Note to self: no one sells kayak oars within 50 miles 😁😁

Best Little Lake House in Kentucky

This is a wonderful little corner of the world where my wife and I go to leave the world behind for the weekend. We go and hike Van Hook Falls (30 minutes away). We love it. The host was so accommodating when we had to reschedule due to a hurricane shutdown. We can’t wait to go back.

This property exceeded our expectations. The location was clean, well equipped, secluded & quiet, yet only a short drive into town, if needed. The neighbors were welcoming and friendly. Lake views from house were stellar. Fishing and kayaking daily made for a healthy appand great sleep. Enjoy!

Beautiful property!

This house is cozy and cute! It was a perfect place to take our family for a week long getaway. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning with spectacular lake views. Although we had bad luck with fishing, we did see a fisherman pull a massive bass out of it, and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and paddle boating. There is a large town within 15 minutes for everything needed. Plenty of hiking nearby as well as a couple amazing waterfalls! We had minor issues that were addressed by the host immediately and with such care! We very much appreciate their hospitality throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you for having our family.

Great Cabin by the Lake

It was a wonderful get away for us. Just a short 30 minute drive gets you to the Van Hook Falls Trailhead. Make sure to use the spot at the top of the driveway if you have a car. The driveway is very steep ( best for 4 wheel drive vehicles, as noted on the listing). We look forward to going back.

We loved this cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! It's cute, quiet, and right on the lake. The drive way is steep, but it's doable. If you forgot something at home, they had spares readily available. I would change two things about this place. 1. I would move the master bedroom to the bottom floor. This would allow the room to stay cool and have your own private pourch. 2. I would put a full sized futton in place of the "twin" one down stairs. It definitely wasn't a twin size, but it fit my 10 year old perfect. We would definitely stay here again!
