Such a sweet little place. We loved the firepit, the view from the porch and the comfort of the furniture. The owner was very kind and attentive but gave an overwhelming amount of instructions. The kitchen is pretty small so this is not the house for you if you plan to cook big meals. While there we had two meals with our Son & DIL and cooked out on the grill. Again such a beautiful place. I would stay again!

Visiting family

Super clean. The owner Jerry was very thorough and went over everything about the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. He obviously has pride in taking care of his property. It’s a wonderful setting with the pond directly behind the cabin.

We came here for our honeymoon very beautiful land and the trails and fishing pond was definitely a plus for us we will be coming back with our family!!!! Would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone!!!!!!

Anniversary celebration

Wonderful time getting away here. They had just about everything we needed. We were comfortable, felt at home, ans had privacy. We really enjoyed the area in general. The house, beautiful, stocked, and clean. Bed and couch were extremely comfortable. The pond was nice and peaceful, and walking on trails was delightful! Would definitely go back!

We love this cabin very cozy and relaxing I highly recommend you stay here this was our 2nd time here came first time for honeymoon and this time we brought our teenagers here they loved it my son loved he could fish he bought like 10 or so!!! This is a very beautiful cabin!!! We will definitely be booking again!!!!!

comfy and cozy

My husband and I stayed at the cabin while attending a family wedding and reunion in the London area. It was the perfect place to relax in between all the activities. Very clean and a beautiful setting in the hills of eastern Kentucky. We hope to visit again in the future and would definitely stay at this cabin if it is available!

Fabulous getaway

We traveled cross-country to enjoy Laurel Lake and the beautiful Kentucky farmlands and rolling green hills. The private pond was a huge bonus, sunsets were beautiful, fire pit for smores and family time, and close to Laurel Lake. We had 3 teenagers with us and they loved it as much as we did! Owners were great to work with and the accommodations were very clean and well cared for. LOVED the hiking trails around the property too!

This place is fantastic.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway this place is fantastic. This was our family’s second time staying at the cabin, and both stays were exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of everything. The property is very clean and the grounds have been taken well care of. The kids lived fishing and the trails. Although there are other homes nearby the cabin is very situated in such a way that you feel like you are away from it all. Very relaxing and we will return. A huge thank you to the hosts who go out of their way to make sure their guests have a great experience.

Perfect quiet cabin

We met Jerry, the owner when we arrived who gave us all of the details of the cabin. It is immaculate with all of the amenities you would want. There are two hiking trails on the property which is a nice touch, plus the fishing pond. It was fairly cold during our stay so we didn't enjoy the outdoors much, but took one of the trails. Everything went perfectly with our stay. Nearby is the Daniel Boone National Forest, Cumberland falls, and plenty of restaurants to choose from in London. Overall, we had a great trip.

Nice place but was not quiet or secluded during our stay

It was a very nice place. Very clean. We anticipated a secluded private place for our 5 year anniversary. The traffic was crazy back & forth behind the cabin due to the owners were having a graduation party and the owners live just up a hill behind the cabin. Then one night a group of people went down to the pond area which was included with the stay as it stated in the details when booking. So it wasn’t what we expected at all. We met the female owner as we were leaving, she was very nice.

Great getaway!

The cabin was super clean. It seemed brand new. The trash can was even clean! Very well cared for. Beautiful cabin, beautiful lake and view. The fishing was great and the private trails around the property were great! Only things that could be improved would be to add keyless entry. We had to try to coordinate our arrival to get the key. After a few texts, we were able to arrange us getting in without meeting for the key. Water pressure was a bit low. Overall, I would highly recommend this place! Very comfortable!!

Quiet Oasis in Kentucky

The property is listed exactly accurately. Its immaculately clean. Very clean linens and towels. Washer and Dryer available onsite.The host Jerry is extremely helpful and responsive. It was a perfect set up for me and my adult boys Plenty of beds and room for all. Sunsets are beautiful over the pond off the back deck. Wish we would have had time for some fires in the fire pit. Jerry provided wood as well! This property was centrally located between Red River Gorge and Cumberland falls. We hiked Red River Gorge one day and rafted Cumberland falls area the other. This property is very reasonably priced and a great quiet spot. Just thought i would mention how great Jerry was when my battery died on my truck. Cam right down to give us a jump. Lastly the two trails are nice for a walk. Grey trail is less hilly. Red trail has more elevation changes etc. Take a stick as there are some webs you need to go thru. I guess the only thing i could suggest as improvements are a larger coffee pot, extra blankets.

Foxrun should be Comfy cabin

My son and I spent 4 days at Fox run. We're from Florida and needed a country getaway after a long year of heartache and loss. Jerry was very helpful in letting us know how to get to the cabin if the GPS disconnected. The cabin itself is perfectly secluded in a very quiet quaint little area. The view was incredible from the balcony and had perfect sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed the trails on the property when we just needed some time in nature. Only 30 minutes from Cumberland falls and the cabin had anything you would need during your stay as far as cooking utensils, firewood and so on. We are thinking of going back sometime in the summer so that we can enjoy the pond, fishing, and shooting range. It was THE PLACE for some much needed peace and quiet. We can't wait to go back.
