This beautiful new Angel Fire vacation rental is nestled in the trees at roughly 10,000 feet of the Angel Fire resort and makes for the perfect lodging in Angel Fire. The lot is surrounded by green belt on one side and the Heading Home ski run on another. The location will provide you the solitude and space you desire while still keeping very close to the skiing action.

The home features a two-car garage so you don’t have worry about clearing snow off your vehicle any time you want to drive somewhere. The large open windows in the front of the house will make you feel right at home with nature. The floor plan of the home provides a very well laid out 2000 square feet which makes it ideal for the large or extended family and friends. The kitchen, dining room, and living area are configured in a open floor plan that will allow you to make your favorite dish and never miss a moment with your loved ones. The kitchen features concrete counter tops, oak cabinets, and brand new appliances.

This home’s vibrant decor makes it stand apart from other properties in the area. You will find original art work through out the house created by one of the home’s owners. This vacation rental contains one king size bed in the master bedroom, one queen size bed in the second bedroom, and two twin beds in each of the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The home has 2.5 bathrooms. The maximum capacity in our home is 10 people. The very spacious master bathroom includes double sinks, a tub, and a stand alone shower.

The home is equipped with 3 flat screen TVs in 3 rooms of the house for watching your favorite Roku TV programs and movies. You can browse the internet from any room in the house by easily connecting to the WIFI and satellite internet service. Amenities such as hot tub, spacious outdoor deck, propane BBQ Grill and more! Incredible Week!!!!

If we could give 10 stars we would. Very spacious and well stocked. Kids walked right through the back yard on a trail to the runs and had fresh tracks before the first chair. Met them at that same spot to hand off sandwiches and snacks through out the day. Beautiful inside and out!!! This will be the first one we check for any future AF trips

Angel Fire Haven

I want to first thank the owners for sharing their home (not your typical rental house/condo). The house is located in what would seem to be a park. The views from inside the home are wonderful (cannot see other buildings, just nature). The house design and decor are perfect for relaxing after hiking or driving to see local events/towns (Taos less than an hour away). The wildlife was the most incredible bonus of this property. Every morning beautiful animals would feed on the lawn while I watched, drank coffee, and took pictures. The large windows in the living area were clear barriers to a gorgeous landscape. Elk came and feed twice a day. First a few. Latter a HERD (I mean at leat 20 females, many yearlings, 1 large buck with huge antlers, and another very young buck with smaaller spread of horns) came while we were eating supper. They did not mind there pictures being taken, but would just stare at you as they chewed. A small family of Black bears fed. Momma bear and three small cubs (so, so, so cute). Deer (with yearlings), Chipmunks, Squirrels, Eagels, Hawks, Falcons either visited us or flew above. The rock formations, streams, wild flowers, and views on walks and hikes were spectacular. I highly recommend this property and plan to return in the years to come.

Everything we needed for spring break

The property is very, very clean, well stocked, with all we needed for the week. The kitchen had everything we wanted... a prior review said there was no crockpot, but now there is. We tried, but could not ski out. We hiked out in thigh-high snow to what we learned is actually the Texas Flats ski run. Texas Flats is a closed run, ungroomed, icy in March, and not even on the trail map. When we inquired, we were told it was unskiable. My family skiied down the ice to where it merged into the Heading Home ski run, then they refused to do so again the rest of the week. It really was just one icy hill that deterred them. So we simply drive to the base and skied from there. The tvs have roku and you needed the owner's PIN to get into different apps or into guest mode where we belonged. You could not just change the user to your own roku or guest mode. If you're particular about what you'll watch, bring an alternative such as Apple TV or cast from your phone. Other reviews are right. The sofas are shockingly uncomfortable. So are the beds. The linens are soft, but the mattresses are all very hard and the pillows are the worst I've seen. With new sofas, mattresses, and pillows, I'd stay here again and again. It was otherwise perfect.

Beautiful

The house is beautiful. There is plenty of room and it is well stocked. It's a long, windy drive to get to the house. The only complaint is that the couches are not comfortable. We were out and about quite a bit, so it wasn't a huge issue. But, comfortable couches would have made it perfect.

Adventure in the woods

Great, it’s definitely a ski in a short walk to ski out from the back porch where deer come visit you in the evening. Overall perfect stay for my family.

Hike In Hike Out

PROS: Beautiful home with a beautiful sunset, spacious and roomy for a group, well stocked kitchen CONS: Not a true ski in ski out. It is about a 200 yard hike to a ski trail and we just had to figure it out ourselves. Would not be good for younger children as the hike contained some waist deep snow, beds are all hard, pillows are cheap and uncomfortable, living room seating is uncomfortable futons, not good after a day of skiing.

Perfect for family!

Great 4 bedroom home. Just far enough from the slopes that you don't see any skiers through the trees. Click on skis right off your back porch, and ski to slopes. Simple. Highly recommend. Property Manager Sophia was simply amazing! She went over and above to ensure our family had a great stay. I can't stress enough how great she was!! The next time I take my family to Angel Fire, I'm definitely staying in this house. Perfect!

Dealing directly with the owner was a plus

What a beautiful house and view. This home was ideal for our extended family (grown kids, grandkids, cousins too) holiday celebration. The hot tub was a last minute surprise option that was worth the extra charge. Plenty of linens and towels. Brand new appliances as a part of the new renovations. Large open living/dining/kitchen counter eating space meant we could enjoy being together without feeling cramped. Large kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. Bring your own crockpot if needed. Angel Fire has limited dining options and most are extremely busy during peak season. Ski in/ski out was not clear as there had been recent heavy snow but our adventurous party figured it out and loved not having to drive down to the ski lifts. 4x4 or AWD required. Great WiFi as promised. Was able to connect to work remotely which is not fun but necessary. Could stream movies and games. Was glad we brought our own xbox and board games. Use of garage and laundry room was helpful although gas dryer takes longer than usual. The owner was a great communicator. The PM company did their best during peak season check-in.

Gorgeous property!

We were there for a week. The home was well appointed with far more than the usual amenities such as cooking supplies. Hiking and wildlife are all around.

Walking distance to the ski slopes

We chose this rental for a small high school reunion and were very pleased with the house! I have rented in areas from Martha's Vineyard to the Hamptons, to Myrtle Beach and to Destin. This was one of the nicest homes that I have rented - spacious, well appointed and very close to the ski slopes. Our group spent more time preparing our own meals in the house vs eating out and found the kitchen well appointed with appliances and utensils - better than most other rentals I have stayed in. We were entertained by the DirecTv satellite television and were able to post Facebook pictures of our week together quickly via the free wireless internet in the house. Our walk to the ski slope was less than 5 minutes. Ski-in time to the slope would be less than that. Sitting high on the mountain, we enjoyed the privacy of few neighbors and rarely saw others in the area. The whirlpool in the large master bath provided relaxation after our white water rafting, rock climbing, and hiking. I will return to this rental again, hopefully during the snow season. This was definitely a good value for our money and would recommend to family and friends.

Winter Wonderland!

Angel Haven house was everything and more we asked for. House is very spacious, clean, modern and nicely decorated. It is literally in a perfect location and is close to every activity offered in Angel Fire. If you like skiing, snowboarding, tubing or just soaking in the beauty of Angel Fire this is a place to be. We will definitely be back again. Thanks so much!

A native of Texas, I have owned this home in Angel Fire since 2010. I still think the area is still an undiscovered treasure. I love to get out there as often as I can for some snowboarding, skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking, fishing, and just about anything else outdoors. The summers are wonderful even you go just to relax in the cool temperatures.

The location will provide you the solitude you desire but with a short walk you can be right on the ski run. In the summer, you will likely see deer, elk, and even black bears passing right through the front yard. We work hard to keep the home updated so you will have everything you need and very clean so that you will thoroughly enjoy your stay. We have received many positive reviews from guests in our guest book. Try our home; I know you won't be disappointed!
