Onyx - Near Hocking Hills

Looking for a couples getaway, check out our Onyx cabin! This tiny house features large windows throughout to enjoy the views, a covered hot tub perfect for use in any weather. Inside you will find a kitchen and dining area perfect for two, a full bath and a bedroom with a queen bed. Just around the corner enjoy the community lake with a dock, beach and picnic area available to guests.

Guests have access to the whole cabin and areas surrounding the cabin. There is another cabin above the Onyx that is currently not occupied at this time.

When you walk into the Onyx you will find a living space with a kitchen, dining table for two, and a couch and 50" TV. Through the large sliding door we have a covered porch with Adirondack chairs and a wood burning fire pit. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and two burner cook top. We also have a Keurig K cup coffee maker. In the bedroom you will find large windows, a queen bed, TV with DVD player and a closet. We have a stackable washer/dryer in the hall closet. In the full bath there is a walk in shower with glass sliding door. Outside there is a paved sidewalk leading to the covered hot tub area.

**Cell service is very limited in the area. Internet is provided, but can be slow and spotty at times. Streaming is not guaranteed. Due to the location, we do experience occasional outages out of our control.

**For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we will have an external security camera located by the front door facing the parking area.

Kidless Get Away!

We enjoyed our get away! LOVED our hikes in Hocking Hills & Onyx was a beautiful cabin for peace & quiet. The cabin was modern & very well thought out. Someone really put some thoughts into things you would need for your stay. It was comfortable & cozy!

Overall the cabin was great. Only issue was the faucet in the bathroom needs some attention. Water sprays everywhere when you turn it on. Was unusable.

Lovely time!

We loved this place! It was so beautiful with the big windows to see the snow. Everything was clean and comfortable. We brought food to cook there and the kitchen space had what we needed. We even enjoyed the toasty hot tub in the middle of winter too! Would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay at the Onyx! We really appreciate the plug in stove top and other appliances, as well as the utensils. The bathroom was very clean. We love the large windows and comfortable couch. We would have really liked a couple of extra throw blankets. The one small one was really not enough. The chlorine dispenser was empty in the hot tub and could have used some more water. We understand the security light for safety purposes, but it was way too bright for the window treatments provided.

1st Wedding Anniversary

From the time we rolled up the driveway we were impressed. The home looks great online but even better in person! I am very particular and I had no complaints. If you like to cook you have all the kitchen utensils you need. I will note that plug in burner on the drawer works much better than the two-burner electric stove the home has. They make up for no oven with a large toaster over. The details put into the home made the stay very comfortable. The bedroom gets high reviews as well. The mattress was suitable for us both and that was impressive because one of us prefers firm and the other soft. We woke with no stiffness nor discomfort. This property was easy to find and in a great location. The SOLO stove was a great touch. We brought our own wood and enjoyed a fire every morning and night. PLEASE NOTE: Once we sighned into their wi-fi, our phones worked just fine. This property allowed us to relax and just enjoy one another because we were comfortable and nothing was left out regarding the amenities. Please give this property a try!
