Darling, single story, one bedroom home is great for a small family or couple. With its darling heated and fully enclosed casita you'll be able to work - or nap - in a quiet space outside the home.

The bedroom has a king sized bed, TV as well as its own sink, plenty of storage for longer trips, along with access to the side yard and bubbly hot tub.

The living room looks onto the garden, has a fire place, TV and comfy couch good for four. The window seat in the living room is a great place to read, have coffee and gaze out at the garden or creates additional seating for living room chats.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink as well as linen storage and hair dryer. An additional shower is located outdoors creating a beachy, private space for getting ready.

We really enjoyed the house and amenities, its superb location, and the quick and helpful responses from the hosts! The hot tub was a welcomed treat after a day of walking and exploring S.B. and the area. We would definitely rent the house again and highly recommend it to others.

Hey Cassidy, thanks for staying with us. We leave bar soaps but are ready to respond if you need anything else. 🏖️ While we don’t provide body wash standard, we would have been happy to bring some by.

Wonderful week away

Wonderful stay in Santa Barbara. Our stay was close to everything we needed. The house was just perfect for two adults wanting a week away from it all.

This is a charming little place with a gracious patio area and a good location. It is well-equipped for a comfortable stay and we found it very clean and welcoming.

Amazing little property!!!

We were in town to visit UCSB with our son. This was the perfect home base. Very comfortable, well designed house. Beautiful grounds, quiet neighborhood. So thankful we could travel with our dogs!

Fabulous Mesa Location

This was our second stay at this property. Proximity to shops, cafes, parks, beaches, and a very quiet neighborhood are reasons we returned to this VRBO. It is clean and comfortable with a charming backyard.

Great location and just perfect for our family and pups!

Lynn is a fantastic host. Always quick to reply to any question we had. The location is perfect for walking, coffee shops, groceries and the ocean. The house was quaint, nicely decorated with a nice backyard and plenty of room. We will be back!

Perfect wee house

Beautiful house. Loved the outdoor area and the nearby beach access. Everything was exactly as we’d hoped from the pictures. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. Would love to stay there again.

Perfect getaway

This adorable bungalow was perfect for the two of us for a lovely, relaxing week. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable beds, a hot tub (we didn't use it, but it's there), and only four blocks to beach access. It's close to everything we wanted to visit: downtown, presidio district, Funk Zone, the wharf, the mission, and the botanical gardens. Also very close to several wineries. We would stay here again.

Cute place, close to the beach!

Loved our time in Santa Barbara!! Cute house with a great living area and awesome outdoor patio. We only used the main bedroom, but the little casita in the back was cute and would have worked for 1 or 2 more people. We walked to one of the beaches a couple blocks away which is down at the base of cliff—super awesome place. Thank you Lynn!!!

Burning Skirt Renunion

This place was perfect! The location is prime! I had 2 friends stay with me and it suited us beautifully. Loved the hot tub and backyard to relax. I used to play on the UCSB Ultimate frisbee team with some rad women and that was 35 years ago. Many of us were able to get together for a wonderful reunion. I'm hoping to be back and will bring my husband next time as he is a Gaucho as well! Thank you fror a great place! My stay was so memorable.

Wonderful weekend stay

I booked this location for a small get together with a few friends and we had a great time. The location is phenomenal and was really just what I had in mind. There's beach access close by, a little shopping center for any last minute needs and the rest of Santa Barbara is a quick car ride away. The unit was clean and was presented as described. The house is cozy and really utilizes all of the space. We felt like we had more than enough space for all 4 of us throughout our stay. The house is equipped with what you need to be comfortable: extra blankets, fans, plenty of utensils, etc and check in/check out is all very reasonable. The backyard is lovely, we spent most of our time in the home enjoying the backyard and hot tub We had a lovely time and I would absolutely book this home again. Thanks Lynn & Martin for having us!

Small, but cute house in a nice neighborhood! Very nice location! Wasn't fun of the management. Check- in and check- out it to the dot !To the level that cleaning people didn't have time to empty garbage bags in the kitchen or finish drying towels/rugs. Additionally management didn't believe me that our trash wasn't emptied- not cool. This property is very much in and out to make profit and not to care about people staying. They don't offer toilet paper (we got 2 rolls, for 5 people staying for a week!) or a hand soap - I asked for refill, and the manager stated they never provide that, it must have been previous guest leaving it behind. Get ready to run to target to get all the necessities ! And pay attention to check-out list!!! We, as a family travel a lot, but never had this "cold" stay.

Pros and cons

Stayed here w/ my young daughter while she went to camp nearby. Nice house and property, great bed, easy check-in, and a great location. The host was very responsive and accommodating. In fact they let me work in the back house until noon on the day of departure when I had an unexpected meeting. There were some cons, however. The hot tub, which we paid an extra fee for, was dirty and didn't heated up beyond lukewarm. Additionally, there was a long list of cleaning responsibilities on the guest, with the threat of an additional charge if it was not followed exactly. This was bothersome because there was a hefty cleaning fee and i learned was more than twice what they paid the housecleaning staff, which I find to be quite unethical. Good to know, esp if travelling with children: the 2nd bedroom is the back casita, which is physically separate from the house.

Hey Sara, thanks again for staying with us. Sad to see all your comments and the less than five-star rating based on some incorrect info. Not sure why the hot tub was dirty. Was the cover off when you arrived? It is serviced weekly and checked during cleaning - I checked it myself the day before you arrived and no one was in it before you arrived. I'm not sure what to think here. The heat was the toggle-up-temp switch we discussed. Shoot...I thought we were on the same page. We pay our maid staff a living wage. The fee covers interior cleaning, hot tub, garden and monthly carpet and window cleaning. The maid you spoke to is a small portion of what makes the house ready for guests. Wish you the best in your future travels!

A few items shy of a perfect visit

Lovely place in a great location, value was there. Pictures were an accurate overlay of what you get. I was a bit surprised the "Air Conditioning" was a secondary box unit that they were going to set up outside and pipe into the bedroom...seems they were a bit disingenuous in the description of the property. it was super coola t nights so the fans served our needs. Also we ran out of the two rolls of toilet paper and asked for some more and was told, basically, "Sorry we only give you two rolls, figure it out yourself." So dad ran to the store to get TP for all the girls. Amazing at this expense for 5 days this is all they owners were willing to do for us. Sometimes it is the little things that matter. The grounds were nice, amenities were good (but bring your own coffee for day one,) and it was an easy, easy walk to the beach steps. Lovely Santa Barbara beaches! Super short drive to the the pier and downtown shops. Easy 30+ minute commute to the wineries. in Santa Ynez valley wine region. We would stay here again.

James, thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your business! The AC is noted as a portable unit and we were indeed happy to set it up for you. It does not sit outside and pipe cool air in, but is inside the bedroom and creates a nice cool feel. We don't provide unlimited paper goods - similar to many furnished homes - and note that in our listing. I see you haven't had any other VRBO bookings so perhaps you assumed this was like a hotel? We would never have a "go figure it out yourself" attitude. ;--( Sad to see your comment there. We were honored to welcome you.
