A Wave From It All - First Floor Condo

A Wave From It All is just that! It is a getaway on the first floor, with the pool and hot tub just a few feet away out of your back patio door. This condo is in the Summer Winds complex in Indian Beach. With much to do at the beach and the ocean, you even have shuffle board, a café, the Sports Complex with an indoor heated pool, tennis and racquetball courts, basketball and a hot tub and sauna. This resort has it all.

The condo has three bedrooms with one king, one queen, 2 twins and an air mattress available for those last two that want to go. Plenty of room for everyone. We would love to have you visit and wave goodbye to all your worries!

The condo was clean and in a great location. We enjoyed having pool and beach access right out our back door. We were in town for a youth baseball tournament and this location was about 20-25 minutes from the fields we were playing on which wasn’t bad at all!

It was easy to get to the beach. I was able to order groceries and had I had them delivered. We didn’t even have to leave the room. It was so relaxing.

A short vacation

My mother and I booked this condo last minute for a long weekend away in September. The weather was superb. The location was perfect with close beach access. The condo was clean overall but the carpets in the bedrooms need to be replaced.

Would definitly rent it again.Cons: The doors to the bedrooms can be locked from inside, but no keys were given to unlock it.We were locked out of one of the bedrooms because we guess the nob was set on the locked mode when we closed the door from outside. We looked around the house and could not find any keys that may have worked, then eventually we unlocked the door using a butter knife.

With teens that dont want to share a room, this place was perfect. Highly recomend the food truck across the street. Only rained on us once.

Loved location!

This was a first floor unit and was great access to pool and beach! Very clean and well stocked...did have little issue with too many remotes for non tech folks. We had great weather so didnt need tv. Would certainly book again!

Good Time Waves

I rented this condo for my husband's birthday to enjoy and relax at the Crystal Coast. This place is Wonderful! We were right at the pool, steps from the beach, wonderful activities on site and a cafe poolside for drinks and food. The condo/home has all you need with dishes, towels, w/d, TV in every room. It reminded me of an all-inclusive resort where all the amenities you need are right there. I will definitely book this property again! A++

Outdated and Dirty carpet

Wouldn’t choose to stay again. The property was very outdated and the carpet in the bedrooms was gross. The laminate floor need to be taken into the bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

Summer Fun (except for the ants)

We really enjoyed the property in Indian Beach — nice room, pool with a cafe, easy access to the beach, etc. Unfortunately, we had to battle ants in the kitchen from the moment we arrived. We did our best to secure all of our food, but nothing helped. Also, the checkin process was a bit klugey. We never received the checkin email, so that left us scrambling last minute. And the guard gate at the entry seemed to have a different story about how to let family members in every time we talked to somebody new.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a couple of things that were left broken by the previous renters, also the water was shut off when we got there. Each time, Teresa got back to me immediately. This condo isn’t a platinum level place but the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the place was spotless. Word to the wise, don’t leave food in the master bedroom. We had saltwater taffy that drew ants because of the linking patio door. We got rid of the taffy and the ants disappeared

Summer holiday

Overall we were happy but had a few issues. When we arrived the floors were very dirty as we found out by my 1 year old grandson crawling around who needed up with very dirty knees and feet. We had a huge any problem in the kitchen so we were not happy about having to constantly get rid of ants that were getting all over our groceries and dishes in the counter. The ice maker stopped working for a full day so we had no ice. The screen door to the outside patio was broken so we didn’t use it at all. Teresa was awesome when I contacted her and she was very helpful and quick to reply and respond to issues. We would stay there again.

A Wave From It All Condo

Nice location on first floor. Easy access to the pool, beach, and on-site cafe. When we arrived there were ants in the kitchen. I contacted the property manager to let her know and she did say that a few ant baits were placed in the kitchen. My husband went to purchase ant spray but we had to deal with the ants our whole stay. Obviously it was known there was an ant issue with the bait traps placed in the kitchen. Felt like we should have been told about this upfront. Then there was a problem with the air flow in master bedroom. Very warm and uncomfortable at night when sleeping. There was a floor fan in the bedroom so homeowner/ rental agency apparently knew of the problem. This was not disclosed when booking the condo. Also,Recliner was broken so had to be careful when sitting in the recliner. Hope these things will be corrected for the next renter. Overall we enjoyed our time at the complex.

Small and problem with Locks on bedroom and bathroom doors

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the access to the pool and ocean. I would recommend taking a picture of each room when you arrive because you are required to put everything exactly as you found it. They have door knobs that seem for outside doors on all the bedrooms and the two bathrooms. These knobs stay locked on the hall access but you can open from the inside and get out and there is no key available to open them and they require a key. We had no idea that they would work this way and the first day our grandson locked the bedroom he shared so he could change and came out and when the door closed he was locked out all day as was his roommate. We had to change plans as they were in their bathing suits. We were charged for this. It took about 8 minutes when the maintenance man was able to come. We all believe a key should be available for renters. Guest bedroom with one bed needs side table, lamp, and dresser. Mirror would be nice. Twin bedroom needs somewhere to put clothes or hold suitcases. Vents needed in bathrooms. These two rooms especially are very small. We liked the dinners offered at the pool and the weather was great. Difficult to get a table by pool as our gate was opened last most days. 6 was a tight fit; don’t see how 8 could fit anywhere comfortably.
