The Hideaway cabin is a newly built, secluded cabin, surrounded by nature. The cabin is a two bedroom, two bathroom, with a full kitchen. The cabin offers the perfect getaway from the noise, and stress of everyday life. Very cozy feel with modern decor and amenities. Enjoy your mornings on the deck, maybe with a warm cup of coffee, and listen to the birds sing. Just a short drive to the town of Mountain View, and everything it has to offer. Shops, restaurants, golf, movie theater, hiking trails, the amazing White River, and don't miss out on the world famous folk music being played around the courthouse square on most weekend nights. Also, who could forget about The Ozark Folk Center, and The Blanchard Springs Caverns, all just a short drive away. Then come back to the cabin and unwind in the hammock, or enjoy your time on the deck with a cozy fire burning in the firepit. If you feel like staying in, the cabin also offers board games, horseshoes and other activities for the whole family to enjoy. Come stay with us, you will love it here!

The cabin was exceptionally beautiful and very cozy! However the last 1.4 miles to the cabin is unpaved so motorcycles be advised car still managed to get there on the bikes also since we are not big drinkers we were unaware of the cabin in a dry county and the closest liquor store is 40 min away in the middle of no where with a small selection so just plan accordingly. Will we stay there again YES! Will we recommend to friends YES! It was exactly what you need to reset and unwind!!

Well equipped with everything you need. They even let us use their lawn chairs when we went to see the blue grass band. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our dream stay. Isolated from everything with two separate hangout areas so we could each have our own space to hang out, nap, and read. It was the perfect weekend getaway for two introverts on our one year wedding anniversary. Bring your own groceries and lots of cozy clothes and cuddle up for a weekend like we did. You won’t regret it!

The Hideaway cabin is very comfortable, impeccably clean and nicely furnished. It’s set back in the woods with a quiet setting. It had a very steep stairway up to a comfortable and nicely furnished upper bedroom which was a surprise as for elderly it may be a hazard. It could use better signage onto the driveway as we arrived at night and had a bit of trouble finding the driveway to the cabin. Other than those few concerns it is a great place to stay.

Hideaway Cabin

Loved it! It definitely was very secluded which was perfect for us. Even though it was very secluded the wifi was great and there was YouTube TV. The decor was adorable and the.cabin was cozy. The GPS did tell us we had arrived even though we need to go a little farther before turning into the drive-just FYI.

Loved the cabin, it was so peaceful, clean, beds comfortable, clean and overall, a great place to stay! We had it rented from Sunday to Wednesday but ended up having to leave Monday due to an emergency!! We will be back!!

Great cabin

This cabin was very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. All of us enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay again. I would note the second bedroom requires a ladder climb, which was fine for us, but if your group wouldn’t be comfortable or able to do it then be aware. We hope to return a stay for more than one night. It is a lovely place and so peaceful.

A great 6 nights stay!

Clean and comfy! Great mattresses! Exactly what we needed! My 20 year old son enjoyed the space from parents in the loft bedroom. I enjoyed using the kitchen table as my sewing station. The men enjoyed fishing nearby. Hubby really enjoyed the live music in the downtown at night. We ate in a couple meals a day so there was plenty of dishes and tableware. Host left lots of snacks so. Really enjoyed those. The Keurig seemed to have bit the dust by there was a drip maker too which is what we prefer anyhow. Thanks to the hosts!

Overall, this is a nice property in a remote location but near to all kinds of outdoor activities, river fun, hiking and Blanchard Springs Cavern. The property was well maintained and clean. There is a ladder leading to an upstairs bedroom so if you have little kids be prepared. The cabin is in a remote location off of a dirt road but fairly easy to find. This is a small quaint cabin in the middle of woods with all kinds of wildlife.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Thank you to the owners that had packages of coffee there and filters for the pot. They had a basket full of snacks that we did not use. Our granddaughters really enjoyed the games and the balcony. They sat in the windows and looked out. We defiantly use this cabin again. So glad we found this location. Cabin was clean and neat. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, cookie sheets. It was everything we expected and more.Only complaints, the signage to the cabin is covered in weeds that have grown up over the sign. We could not turn down the ceiling fan, it was either on high or off, and the a/c unit in the bedroom down stairs, never cooled the room off. But very much enjoyed our stay!!!

Nice clean cabin getaway

Nice clean cabin well maintained. There is a ladder to the second floor, which we brought babies. Made us a little nervous with our two year old, but we managed just fine. The seclusion was nice. Took a dirt road to get there, long driveway, which on the way in is a bit overgrown. Had some branches scrape against my truck. The cabin had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, and kitchen. Overall a good place to stay

Weekend Getaway!

Booked for a quick weekend with the family! Truly is hidden away! Great location for some R&R and unplugging with family!! Very quiet and secluded! Cabin was very clean and check in was seamless. No need to contact host on a short stay but I'm sure they are great. **Only thing keeping it from 5 stars across the board is the horseshoe pit needs tending and is not as pictured. Still useable but upkeep would complete the whole experience and match the attention to detail of the cabin!**

A few improvements needed

The sewer needs to be checked because if upstairs toilet is flushed the whole downstairs smells like sewage and the sink upstairs is very slow to drain, the tv would not work, and the hot water going to down stairs shower would not come through

I am very sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We have been working to correct the issues you brought to our attention. The tv's are new, and from what I can tell are in working condition, however, there is not cable or satellite and they operate with streaming services only. We have since discovered that the handle on the downstairs shower was reversed, and that was most likely the cause of the hot water issue. The other pluming issues you mentioned are being looked at by a professional. We would have no way of knowing these issues without your valuable feedback, so it really is appreciated. Wooded area cabin

Cabin was clean. Description didn’t state one bedroom is a loft with a metal ladder that is almost straight up and very narrow steps. We were all between 66 to 80 years old. This made it very difficult to get to the loft and get our luggage up there. There are 2 window air conditioners with 1 in bedroom down stairs and 1 in loft that blows out over the living room. Neither were on when we got there and it look hours to half way cool down. No air blew into the loft bedroom and it didn’t cool down until in the night.

Good morning, We apologize for any inconvenience. However, the loft is shown in multiple pictures of the property. Also, there is a window unit in the upstairs area, that both heats and cools. The unit downstairs is not a window unit but a new mini split unit. We try to have the cleaners leave the air on a reasonable setting when they leave the property. We have not had any other complaints pertaining to the air. From our experience the cabin does not take very long to cool after air is turned down. If that is an issue, we will certainly address it. Thank you.
