Harkers Island is a place like no other- full of charm and history, good fishing and great people! Arriving on the island is like venturing into another world, where small-town spirit and unsurpassed natural beauty combine for a serene vibe as peaceful as the salty breeze. The island itself is a throwback to simpler times with humble beginnings. Still, its population has grown quite recently as a popular place for second homes outside of the city and is the ideal retreat for folks looking for a vacation spot in a sweet locale that radiates small-town charm but has lots to do nearby.

Harkers Haven is island-living at its best, with beach vibes and incredible space! The open layout is ideal for vacationers as it brings family and friends together in one large and sunlit home. The kitchen might be the obvious hangout where cooking meals, drinking coffee or planning the day's events can all be done at the countertop bar. The other option might be the living room, where you will find generous seating, a huge TV and a fireplace (for decoration only), for those in your group who need extra comfort as well as cozy homey vibes!

The primary bedroom features a king bed, and en suite bath, and with three additional bedrooms featuring an array of queen, double, and twin beds, this property can accommodate up to 16 guests!

Thoughtful elements include choosing the jetted tub or walk-in shower, a washer and dryer at your disposal and a game room the kids (and adults!) might never want to leave!

When heading outdoors, the swimming pool will beckon to all with its undeniable allure in sparkling aquamarine. Dip toes or dive right in; there is no better way to refresh on a hot summer day!!

Stay outdoors and lounge on the deck or patio and take in the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

If the spirit of adventure kicks in, head to the end of the island and take the ferry to Shackleford Banks to watch for wild horses or to Cape Lookout to marvel at the renowned lighthouse. Visit the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center, a local favorite!

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.
