The space
Welcome to Wildwood Haus! This exquisite architectural cabin, situated on the prestigious North Shore near Tavern Bay in Lake Arrowhead, is the epitome of a design-minded retreat. Accommodating up to six guests, our chalet boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, expansive decks with stunning views, and wood-beamed vaulted ceilings. Enjoy evenings by the firepit or indulge in the luxury of our high-end linens and furnishings.

Entertainment is at your fingertips with our Sonos surround system, an eclectic collection of over 60 vinyl records, and a sumptuous Restoration Hardware Cloud couch. Our kitchen is ready for any culinary adventure, stocked with every spice and tool you might need, alongside provisions for those traveling with children.

The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, spices and utensils, and we provide a list of local dining favorites.

Utility Room:
Find a high-efficiency washer and dryer complete with detergent pods for convenience.

Bedrooms:
Each of our three bedrooms offers unique comforts, from direct deck access with french doors and West Elm bedding to mountain views and privacy.

The main loft bedroom upstairs includes a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi and balcony, perfect for work or relaxation. Additionally, the upstairs bedroom has double doors that close off the bedroom entirely giving you total privacy from activity taking place downstairs.

Bathrooms:
Two bathrooms feature dual sinks, showers and tubs, with one offering a jet spa tub. You'll find a step stool for the little ones as well as Honest Co baby products under the sink for your convenience.

Backyard:
The backyard offers a large gently sloped yard with oak trees and pines, great for sledding in the winter or enjoying Spring/Summer evenings! This area includes a private deck with a propane fire pit and rustic seating - perfect for campfire stories, s'mores and hot cocoa or a relaxing evening drinking wine or cocktails. (We have plenty of glassware and tools for cocktail making!)

Guest access
Driveway Parking:
Kindly be aware that our driveway is notably steep, and we advise caution when entering and exiting, especially for those unaccustomed to utilizing their parking brake or driving in adverse weather conditions.

During Snowy Conditions:
We recommend parking in the driveway or you may opt for garage access during snow stays for a nominal additional fee. This ensures that snow plows can efficiently clear the street and the area around our home. Please exercise extreme caution during icy conditions. We advise the use of 4x4 vehicles or tire chains to prevent sliding and recommend engaging your vehicle's emergency brake when parked.

For your convenience, we offer additional snow plowing and shoveling services upon request during your stay for additional fees. Please feel free to inquire about these services or check them in our guide after booking.

Other things to note

Safety Features:
Wildwood Haus prioritizes your safety. We ensure all smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are regularly tested and functional, with fire extinguishers accessible on every floor. For minor mishaps, a first aid kit is available, and for more significant emergencies, you'll find an emergency Judy evacuation backpack, equipped to support four people for five days, in the hall closet. Additionally, flashlights and headlamps are conveniently located in the kitchen's utility drawer.

Security:
Your peace of mind is paramount. Our residence is outfitted with an ADT alarm system that monitors doors and windows, audibly alerting you whenever they're opened. Should you desire, a security code for the alarm system is available upon request.

Please note that for security verification, we have external cameras installed; however, these are not actively monitored but may be reviewed for snow conditions or in the event of an incident. Rest assured, only homeowners have access to the camera feeds and alarm system, as your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.

Neighbor Courtesy:
Our full-time neighbors are valued friends of Wildwood Haus. We kindly ask you to maintain considerate noise levels, particularly outdoors, to avoid disturbances, especially after 10 pm when quiet hours commence.

House Rules:

- Cleanliness: While we strive to offer an impeccable stay, an additional cleaning fee will be charged if the property is left in a state that exceeds normal usage.

- Capacity: Our home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

- Respect for Property: The items within our home have been selected with care. If you admire anything, we're happy to share purchase details—please do not remove items from the property. Treat our belongings with the same respect as you would your own. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
