Welcome to “The Mountain Cottage,” a forested charmer. This pristine cabin includes long walks in one of the last old forests. You can take in the views of the valley and Catalina on a clear day during a beautiful 1/4 mile short walk to the edge of the mountains. AND enjoy the local shops and some of the best places to eat on the Mountain while there. The location of the Mountain Cottage is perfect. 2 miles from Lake Arrowhead Village.
It sits on a beautiful, heavily forested lot, so you are in the forest yet just minutes to all that the area offers. At about 5900 feet, the Mountain Cottage enjoys all four seasons. The climate is mild in the summer that turns into Fall colors, and blooming wildflowers in the spring, and enjoys the snow in the winter for romantic getaways, near to skiing, and snowboarding. Offering a large private patio with forest views and visiting deer, quail, chipmunks, and squirrels, oh my!

It is a separate private Cottage with a private deck - a feeling of seclusion and a mountain gem, treat yourself and come for a stay. 'The newer, luxurious, details make it the perfect place for 2 people - couples, honeymoons, mom and daughter, sister, best friends, bird watchers, artists, and writers' escapes. It is one of the more rural areas in the mountains.

A 42-inch TV (with Premium Movie channels - HBO-Max is included at no extra fee) and DVD player provide entertainment. There is a selection of books and DVDs for a lazy afternoon.

Fresh linen is provided… and you have utensils, dishes, cups (a couple of pans for the outside patio Bar-B-Q)… a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker (no stove), Propane Bar-B-Q (for outside cooking).
