This entire property is perfect for two families; one large family or a special retreat for a couple who wants plenty of space for themselves! The cabin features magnificent views of Moose River with over 145 feet of Riverfront. Great for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and bon fires riverside. The Main Cabin has 3 full bedrooms, full Bath, Large Eat in Kitchen, Large Living-room and a large enclosed entry porch for all your accessories. Features knotty pine throughout and a beautiful open floor plan in the common areas for large gatherings. Bonus!! Large Bunk House for the kids, in laws, second family or additional guests. The Bunk House retreat is truly unique to Moose River Lodge with an open floor plan which includes a large living-room area, bathroom, 2 twin over full bunk beds, large porch with river views and a large entrance foyer for all your accessories. Both buildings have high speed internet included, beautiful knotty pine throughout and rustic furnishings that provide a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences.

This was a return trip to Moose River Landing (we stayed in 2023), and we loved it even more! The owner has made some lovely improvements (central AC in both the cabin and bunkhouse). This made our stay so comfortable! The outdoor areas are so perfect and comfortable, ample seating on the porches, and lean to/Firepit area! Fishing off the dock and kayaking right from the property is so nice! Location is so walkable to local restaurants and shops, and the TOBIE trail is wonderful for walking/biking, we used it every day during our stay! Lori our host was very responsive and helpful! This is the perfect place for families, feels secluded but so close to everything!

Such a great stay with family at this location. Itā€™s so serene but also family friendly and so close to town. Communicate with the owner was great and had accommodations for little ones that lightened our packing list!

Beautiful setting with nature at your doorstep and town just short but easy walk away. Best of both worlds. Fun for kayaking and nice river and wildlife viewing from the porches, main house or sheltered fire pit area.

Wonderful home and guest house on Moose River! Great location and close to everything. Perfect layout for two families of four...kids loved having their own place...adults loved the quiet. Wonderful place with lovely views!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was gorgeous, clean, updated yet cozy. It felt private and secluded and yet was so close to town - the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed getting out on the water and being able to pop into town for restaurants, etc. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating in the house with gorgeous views. Lori was a wonderful helpful host as well. We'll be back!

Clean cozy comfortable!

This property is so clean and well maintained. We loved the separate bunk house for some to sleep in. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The outdoor lean-to was adorable with beautiful views of the river. Beds were comfy! We had a great weekend ! Highly recommend.

Great family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose River Landing! We started our trip with two families and having the separate cabins was great. After one family left early my kids loved the bunk house. This was possibly the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at and there was so much attention to detail. We got lots of use of the kayaks and canoe and enjoyed exploring the Old Forge area. We loved it so much we are considering renting again next year!

Amazing long weekend

We had our daughter's baptism in Old Forge over a long weekend in October and this property was absolutely perfect for us. We had a mix of several generations staying there and there was more than enough room for everyone. The layout is excellent, with several small private porches/balconies, the lean to by the fire pit is great for being outside despite some rain, and the view is serene. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Extended holiday weekend

Beautiful property! Very clean and well maintained. Our family spent nights around the bonfire and our days exploring Old Forge. The cabin has so many windows with beautiful views of the moose river and wild life. The cabin itself is comfortable and the kitchen has everything. The short time we had went by quickly.

Wonderful Property!!

Truly an amazing cabin and bunkhouse, peaceful, serene and just a short walk into downtown Old Forge and the TOBIE trail bridge! We spent our days kayaking and fishing from dock, and nights in the lean-to enjoying the beautiful firepit! The interior of both the cabin and bunkhouse are so comfortable and inviting, and the views are amazing! Kitchen has everything you need, and seating for a large group! Amazing host who was very accommodating! We look forward to returning again!

A real gem

This is a wonderful way to peacefully enjoy Old Forge and be on the water without being in the thick of the tourist action. We stayed for a week. On arrival I was struck with how clean the home was. The kitchen is very well appointed with sharp knives, all of the cooking utensils and even has spices etc. Appliances were all newer and in great condition. Beds are comfortable. Lori the host is very responsive and helpful. Itā€™s an easy 0.8 mile walk to get to downtown Old Forge. We swam and paddle boarded off the dock. Kids had campfires with the wood which is supplied. We would definitely return here.

Beautiful Everything!

We had a wonderful stay! The house has everything you could ask for and more! We saw the sun rise over the river each morning and watched a deer family walk by outside each day while hanging out in the great room. We also spent time sitting on the dock (even though it is technically out of season for water sports) and sitting around the fire pit. The house is a nice distance from the town so that we could walk there (our 2 year old even walked it) and take advantage of the various dining options and shopping. However, it is also far enough away from the town to seem secluded and enjoy the quiet of the woods. Our communications with the host before, after and during our visit were fantastic and she responded in a timely fashion each time. We would not hesitate to rent this house again!

Family Snowmobile Trip

The property is absolutely Beautiful! It is very clean and has all of the things a big family will appreciate. There is plenty of space between the main house and the bunk house for sleeping large groups and just hanging out. Our large (10) family has been going here for years and we love it! Lori the owner is very easy to communicate with and makes sure you have every question answered very quickly. Lori has even put a high chair, pack and play, a few games, nightlight, and toddler kitchenware in the house now which made it so much easier for my Son and DIL with their two babies. The location is perfect as well. So close to everything Old Forge has to offer. The views of the Moose River are wonderful from either houseā€¦ we even saw muskrats playing on the ice this year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Lori and family. Itā€™s a fabulous place and we will definitely be back again someday!

Excellent place for snowmobile weekend.

A group of high school buddies travel to Old Forge every winter to snowmobile, drink, eat, and make fun of each other. We needed a little more sleeping space this year as we had 8 people coming. This place fit the bill perfectly.First, the location was perfect, especially if you are renting sleds (the rental shop was a couple hundred yards away.Second, the cabin has incredible views with VERY friendly wildlife. While in my truck to get something, a large doe literally walked right up on me. She was obviously very hungry with the snow on the ground since she stood there staring at me for over 3 minutes. :-)Third, the bunkhouse was an added treat, since some of us were able to escape the "fun" as we saw fit. It was spacious and easily slept four oversized "old guys".Finally, the main cabin's layout was awesome. The kitchen was modern and amply stocked with anything you could need cooking wise. More importantly for our purposes, was that all of us could sit comfortably at the dining table, two comfortable chairs, and the sectional couch on the other end of the room. All the while, we always felt part of the conversation. Simply put, this place perfectly suited our needs. Lori was fantastic and responsive to our inquiries. I can recommend this property without reservation.

A beautiful house and setting

We loved our stay at this property. The house was perfect. There were so many things to do for a small family group with young children. We absolutely loved the front room with the cozy mission style chairs and the large dining table. Having access to kayaks was great however out children were too young. The fire pit is cozy and the picnic table was great to have for eating and children's projects. The view of the river is breathtaking and peaceful. It's a beautiful location for relaxing.

The main cabin and bunk house provide for ample space that accommodate large groups, perfect for extended family, friend groups, "Grandparents Camp", or just a quiet getaway. Each has amazing riverfront views to enjoy from sunup to sundown. The fully appointed kitchen, large dining area as well as an outdoor eating space with a gas grill allow for preparing meals of all types. Cast a line from our private dock, launch a canoe or kayak (2 kayaks are provided for guests), or just sit and enjoy the peaceful serenity from the covered Lean-to. Enjoy the Breeo firepit and roast hotdogs or marshmallows while star-gazing the Adirondack skies.
