We came in for a family wedding and had an unfortunate emergency with a family member. The hosts were absolutely amazing and did everything they could to help us out. We needed to stay a few days longer due to this and Susanna and Marlon were so generous and accommodating with this. We are so appreciative. Marlon even dropped off chocolates and a get well card. Extremely thoughtful and kind people. Would definitely book again in the future.

Peaceful spot close to the Q Center

I had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfectā€”just a short drive to the Q Center, where I had to be every day. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful extras like a yoga mat and an ironing board, which came in handy. The bed was also really comfortable, which made all the difference after long days. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing a peaceful and convenient spot in the area.

Our home away from home

We loved the property and location - beautifully furnished and designed - owners were very responsive when the battery in the thermostat ran low. 3 friends and colleagues stayed her during a training and it was our little sanctuary after a busy day.

We needed a place to stay for a few days while our house was being shown. What a comfy little spot close to all the fun of downtown St Charles and Geneva. Hosts were great!

Perfect Stay!

Our family of 4 (2 adults/ 2 teens-tweens) recently stayed here and the house was perfect. It's located near restaurants and stores. It's not far from downtown St Charles & Geneva, and only 10 minutes to the Metra to head into Chicago. We found the house to be the perfect size for our family. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable and we slept well during our stay. I couldn't have asked for a better location and place to stay. The owners were great and I hope we can stay here again in the future. I would highly recommend.

Cute and comfortable

The house is very comfortable and has everything you will need. The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. We took the commuter train into Chicago from nearby Geneva train station. We walked to the Fox River which is nearby and was lovely. I have to cook my own food and the kitchen was well supplied. We appreciated the helpful notes posted. We didn't watch TV but they had one in both bedrooms and a large one in the living room.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental. It was clean, in a great location for why we were visiting and had everything we need. My two girls (6&8) loved their twin bed room. 10/10 would definitely recommend and stay again!

Host could not be reached when I checked in and had a major problem. I informed the host the approximate time I would arrive, so you would expect he would make himself available in the event I had any issues. My daughter arrived a few hours earlier than I did (I informed the host she would probably arrive early) and she informed me there was no heat in the house and that she was confident that she had set the thermostat correctly (note that the outside temps were in the teens, so inside it was around 45 degrees). I immediately tried contacting the host, but he did not respond. When we (me, my wife, and my son) arrived a few hours later (within an hour of the ETA I gave the host), there was still no heat and by this time, my daughter was freezing. Again, I tried texting and calling the host as well as his wife (as they provided both numbers), but got no response from either. I then called the Vrbo help line and after answering their long list of questions, was on hold for about an hour. My son (who is an architect) and I (an engineer) started checking the house to see where the furnace was located to see if we could figure out why it wasn't working. There was a locked closet which I was able to open (again, we were rather desperate by this time) where the furnace was located, we noticed that the pilot light was not lit. Through my son's ingenuity, he was able to figure out how to open the panel on the furnace and get the pilot to light - we finally had heat!

Charming home in a scenic location

Quick drive to Q Center (take S 5th Ave off hwy 25) and the lovely Fox River trail along the river is within walking distance. Home tastefully decorated with all the extra amenities. Some quirks with older plumbing and electrical but all usable. Highly recommend

I recently stayed at this charming place. It exceeded all expectations. The property itself was incredibly quaint, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable, nestled right in the heart of an area perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, dining, and a bit of shopping. One of the highlights was the proximity to several beautiful walking trails. Every morning, I was able to enjoy a peaceful walk, surrounded by nature, before starting my day. For those who enjoy exploring local shops and restaurants, the area was brimming with delightful options. I found everything from unique boutiques to cozy cafes, all within walking distance or a quick drive. It was also perfect for our needs as a working couple. My partner was able to telework seamlessly from the property, thanks to the reliable Wi-Fi and comfortable workspace. While I attended my training at the Q Center, which was conveniently close by, my partner had everything they needed to be productive. The peaceful environment was ideal for focus, and the location allowed for quick breaks exploring the nearby amenities. This gem was the perfect blend of convenience, charm, and functionality. Whether you're in town for business, like we were, or just looking for a relaxing getaway, this place is a gem. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay while visiting elderly parents in the area

My husband, adult son, and I stayed here. The quarters were pretty tight (not much clearance between the shower and bathroom sink, between the dining room table and the wall, in the master bedroom, etc.), but it got the job done just fine. The property was clean, decently appointed, and in good condition. The location was very convenient for our needs.
