Great Spot! Quiet and peaceful, located on a private drive halfway between Port Austin and Caseville. This charming beachfront cottage offers a spacious living and dining area with amazing views of the lake! The living room has a gas fireplace with a remote control, just push the button. The dining area overlooks the lake for waterfront dining. There is also a Sun Room and a large deck to relax and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the world. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the master has a private bath. The kitchen has been recently updated with new appliances.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful house just steps from the beach! Has everything you could need and easy for families with young kids! Our 2nd time staying here and we were not disappointed! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great spot and cozy beach home base close to Sleeper State Park, Caseville, and Port Austin. The view is gorgeous and the kitchen is well stocked. Not a place you want to stay inside all day though (and why would you it’s the beach!) but no AC or fans means the windows have to stay open to get a good breeze. The beach is super rocky until you get a good ways out so bring water shoes or a floaty. Well water, bring filtered or bottled water!

We enjoyed our stay! The cottage was nice and clean with ample towels and other basics. Recommend bringing a couple of fans - since there is no AC, fans helped keep the air moving during some very humid weather. Also recommend water shoes as there are rocks as you walk into the water. Children will need help because of the rocks (I’m an adult and had to be careful walking over the rocks).

Wonderful Lake Huron stay

We had a wonderful stay. Walk straight out the door wall to nicely sized yard and immediately onto the beach and in Lake Huron. Sunset views were breathtaking. Nicely updated home, and great location close to state parks, towns, and the natural beauty of Lake Huron.

The Ideal Getaway!

The house was 20 yards from a private beach on a quiet street. It was clean, and the property manager was responsive to all our inquiries. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Exactly as pictured! Very clean. Perfect spot for sunsets and walks on the beach. Loved it!

Perfect Getaway

I took my mother and my 2 children 6 months and 2.5 for 4th of july week and it was absolutly perfect. The water was clean and clear and it was shallow for 50ft out. The house was very clean and everything we had hoped and more.

The property was as nice as the pics. my family and friends that came to visit thought it had a spectacular view pf the lake. Which is one reason I rented it. The other was location. I have family and friends nearby. I had a great stay. I do not want anything on social media, please. I only expect the owner to view this stay.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location and general appearance of the cottage were excellent. We found a few issues with amenities and communication. No physical book to guide us or internet info about the house's mechanical amenities. This can be easily fixed however. We were very pleasantly surprised about the area and the lovely beach!

Great location

This house is in a perfect location. Steps away from the beach and a short drive into town. We did not receive any information about check in, check out, necessary information about the property, etc until we reached out to the host a couple days before check in. We frequently use Vrbo and typically the host reaches out to you with necessary information, especially when they’re a premier host. While this host didn’t initiate any communication, they did reply to my messages and inquiries. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. We spent the first 2 hours of our trip cleaning before we could unpack our car. Our trip was worth it for the wonderful beach and location; however we were very disappointed with the house itself.

Beautiful View and great location

Enjoyed the area and view. House had a good staging for renters too. Excellent spot! Owner needs to know his cleaners could do better job. No dusting done for along time. Upon entering you definitely have the feeling of not a very clean house due to neglect. House was decorated great though and a nice warm feel except for being unkept. We had to clean the grill, lawn chairs and around the house (frigetc) dirty greasy pan left in oven in order to use. We even trimmed an overgrown shrub. They did have landscapers mow the lawn during our stay that was great. Loved our stay but probably wouldn’t rent again due to cleaning issues.
