Very enjoyable two nights spent in Newport. The room was right in the heart of downtown Newport within walking distance to major restaurants and shops. Would most definitely stay again!

Beautiful suite, great location

We highly recommend staying here. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a minute walk to Thames Street, and from there, we could walk to all the wharf attractions, restaurants and shops. The room was incredibly clean. We will definitely look at staying here or another Windward Suites location the next time we are in the area.

Great stay!

This was our second stay in a Windward Suites space and we loved it just as much as the first time. Extremely clean (always my top priority), and the perfect location right off Thames St. Lots of walkable options for food, drinks, and fun. We will continue to choose Windward Suites for our Newport stays!

Great location. Off street parking is a plus. The only sink was in the bathroom, wish there would’ve been a sink in the kitchenette area. I would have no hesitation using this place again.

Best location heart of Newport

Phenomenal location, wonderful room, comfortable bedding, beautiful bathroom. Carpet desperately needs to be replaced. Garbage pail needed.

Great location and room

This is our fourth year in a row staying at a property in Newport, RI. Every year has been at a different location. The location of this year's rental was terrific. Very clean and well detailed unit. Parking was a breeze as well. The only negative (and can't blame the owner for this) is there was a lot of loud street noise on the first night. Revelers singing at the top of their lungs around 1:30am. It did wake us all up. But will chaulk it up to being in such a great location.

The Fair Street location was ideal for our Newport vacation. It was within walking distance of nearly everything we had planned, and the designated off-street parking was a huge convenience. The accommodations were spacious, clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Matt and Keith were excellent hosts, providing detailed instructions and a helpful list of restaurant recommendations.The only drawback was the noise level at times. During our stay, a nearby restaurant’s dumpster was emptied by the trash company at approximately 4:45 a.m. on two occasions. The sound of bottles clanging and the dumpster being dropped was extremely loud and woke us up both times.Additionally, we were staying on the second floor, and a group of four guests arrived a few days into our trip. Noise from doors closing, electronic keypad beeps, footsteps, and conversations carried throughout the house more than we expected. To be fair, this may simply be a characteristic of the building, and other guests may have experienced similar noise from us.That said, the outstanding location, comfort, and overall quality of the property far outweighed these inconveniences. The noise was ultimately easy to overlook given everything else the property offered. However, light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or consider whether the setting is the right fit for them.

Great location

You really can’t find a better location, we were able to walk to dinner and shops. The parking was great on site. The neighborhood has many nice streets to walk around. The coffee for the Keurig was very good and there was plenty.We were surprised that the bed was a full, we had expected a queen. The bathroom door was warped so it could not be completely shut. Overall cleanliness was ok, but there was a large stain on the carpet, hair on bathroom floor and hair on the extra pillows. The room was also lacking a trash can with the exception of a very small bathroom trash can.We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed by the items mentioned above.
