Experience the beauty of Deep Creek Lake year-round at this secluded Gambrel-style cabin, tucked away in the peaceful woods of Oakland. Whether you're a hiker, skier, or water sports enthusiast, you'll love coming back to unwind in the brand-new hot tub (installed June 2023), relax on the wraparound deck, or gather around the firepit to roast s'mores at the forest’s edge.

This charming two-story cabin is nestled on nearly an acre of land within the Youghiogheny Mountain Resort community, bordered by a spring-fed creek. The area offers endless hiking opportunities, with Swallow Falls State Park just under five miles away. You'll also be perfectly positioned to explore nearby Harrington Manor State Park (five miles), Deep Creek Lake State Park (12 miles), and Wisp Resort (12 miles).

In the warmer months, start and end your days enjoying the cabin’s inviting outdoor spaces. Challenge friends to a game of cornhole or horseshoes, relax in the hammock for an afternoon nap, and fire up the gas grill for delicious barbecue dinners on the deck. During the winter, cozy up indoors for foosball and Nintendo Classic tournaments while snow gently falls outside.

Inside, the cabin features a range of recent updates, including an open, updated kitchen with an island and bar seating. Enjoy meals together in the dining area, and gather in the second living room for relaxed evenings after dinner. Both bedrooms are located upstairs, with one featuring its own smart TV, DVD player, and desk for remote work or study. Central air-conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi ensure your stay is comfortable and convenient.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
