Pull into the heavily wooded neighborhood with gorgeous 100-year-old trees, and you will be immediately greeted by Fernwood's lush English garden. Take a seat around the fire pit in the hedge garden, bubble about in the hot tub under a vine-covered arbor, relax inside by the fireplace, or try your hand at some ping pong or foosball in the lower level recreation room. The world is your oyster at Fernwood Grove!

Towering trees lining a private road hugging Lake Michigan lead you to believe you are miles from civilization, when in fact you are mere minutes from some of the best culture Michigan has to offer! This area has been developing over the years and has quickly become a hotspot on the travel map, with its cute cafes, delicious restaurants, abundance of wineries and breweries, and plentiful orchards.

Only 5 minutes up the road, you land in the darling towns of Saugatuck & Douglas. These sister towns have a storied history of incredible beauty, divine cuisine, and a killer art scene. From small businesses that have been operating for decades to fresh, new pop-ups, there is something for everyone in this thriving cultural center voted Best Beach Town by Midwest Living Magazine.

The nearby Oval Beach is only 10 minutes away, and Conde Nast Traveler has ranked it in the top 25 best shorelines in the world! That's right, the WORLD! State-known hiking and biking trails fill the area, and gorgeous state parks with majestic forested dunes line the shoreline. There is no shortage of incredible offerings, no matter what you're into. Chill at the house and take in the peaceful surroundings, head into town for shopping and dining, hit the trails and immerse yourself in nature, or bask on one of the many beaches along the shoreline. We'll be right here waiting for you!

At the end of a busy day of fun, you'll appreciate the plush luxury bedding and luxury bath products in the well-appointed sleeping and bath quarters. Don't feel like driving? No problem there! The Saugatuck Township Interurban Transit Authority offers pick-ups and drop-offs for only $1 each way to anywhere in Saugatuck Township. Simply call in the moment or ahead and reserve a time and pick-up/drop-off location and your chariot awaits!

Want to venture out into the rest of Michigan's Art Coast? Downtown South Haven and Holland are only a 10-minute drive away and offer a whole different vibe filled with other activities to explore!

We love our pets! We invite you to bring up to 2 doggies.
Our pet fee is $145 and will include a Pet Basket for you to use during your stay: food and water bowls, waste bags, lavender pet shampoo, pet stain remover, puppy towel, and a little treat :) Woof Woof!
Please reach out at the time of booking so we can approve your doggy guest stay and prep the home for their arrival.

Cancellation Policy: We hope you never need to cancel your time away, but in the event that you do, guests are advised that any cancellation prior to 30 days will result in a $149 processing fee or 3.9% of the total reservation, whichever is greater. Cancellations between 14-30 days prior arrival date will result in a 50% forfeiture of total reservation plus $149 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total reservation. Our Cancellation Policy may vary slightly from policies listed on third party booking platforms and will supersede the cancellation policies listed on those platforms. We recommend securing your trip with a travel insurance company should the need to cancel your reservation occur outside of the allotted window. (this is applicable for VRBO, Bookingdotcom, and Direct Bookings)
