Amazing Visit

Absolutely wonderful

Heavenly cabin in a most perfect setting! Jackie and Gib were fabulous hosts and were very prompt and informative with information. The cabin had so many fun things to see and do. We were so happy with it we made a point of coming back early from our outings when possible just so we could hang out here and relax. Listening to the loons in the mornings with coffee on the deck, taking the canoe out for sunset paddles and looking at all the interesting decor made it extra special!!

Found a favorite yard game to play!
Star gazing was spectacular!

The Cabin on Spoon Lake greatly surpasses a 5 star rating. The cabin n surrounding view made our trip a Hallmark memory. Without hesitation I highly recommend this cabin with its magical ambiance and plan on returning.

Beautiful cabin on the lake

We had the best week staying at the beautiful cabin on the lake. Jackie and Gib were so nice and helpful. Gave lots of recommendations. The cabin is beautiful and very relaxing. Definitely would stay there again!

A piece of Montana paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin nestled on a quiet lake just outside Glacier National Park. We were looked after by the kindest, most attentive hosts you could imagine and will enjoy the memories our family made there forever. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

It was absolutely wonderful. The property is magical, so peaceful and beautiful. My only regret is that I didn’t have another week to stay! Would recommend highly. Owners so friendly and helpful. I hope to return…….

Incredible Stay!

What an amazing place! The hosts are amazing people who were definitely very helpful throughout our stay. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very well kept. We enjoyed using the canoe to explore Spoon Lake:) 15min to Glacier park and about the same distance to the nearby town of Columbia Falls. If you book a stay here say hi to Monkey the squirrel for us:) There were 8 of us and plenty of room for everyone.

Relaxing Trip Away From It All

Jackie and Gib have thought of everything! Their lake house is quaint with many unique touches. Comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting. Listening to the loons and watching bald eagles and osprey from the deck was a highlight of the trip. This was such a relaxing and convenient home base to explore glacier from.

Wonderful

The pictures don’t do this house properly. Absolute jem! The lake is beautiful and warm enough to swim. Loft area great for the kids. Owners are very helpful. If you are looking to get away from your busy life- book this place.

Montana Vacation

The cabin was such a great place as base for our Montana vacation. The view of the lake is special. It’s a great cabin that’s decorated perfectly. Very comfortable, everything we needed to cook and grill there. The hosts are there on site in another cabin close by. They will help you with anything you need. A perfect place for a family that wants to visit Glacier National, fly fish , ride ATV’s , and boat on the Hungry Horse Reservoir.

Perfect spot for West Glacier

My family and I stayed a week at this beautiful cabin located on Spoon Lake. The hosts, Jackie and Gib were great. They communicated well before and during the stay. The cabin was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. Jackie’s art work decorates the walls and her watercolors are impressive. It is only 18 minutes from the West Glacier entrance. The cabin is amazing and sits on a lake with a dock and canoe. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and canoe, swimming off the dock and enjoyed the view of the lake from the porch. We had amazing weather in the 70s most of the week. At the cabin we saw a bald eagle (every day) and one day a moose! A black bear was spotted a few cabins down. Can’t recommend this enough! Would stay again!

My husband and I began, hosting summer guests visiting Glacier National Park back in 1994, prior to retiring. We loved the one on one connection with have had with our guests who kept us in touch with Montana & the home we love.

Our cabin sits on a beautiful Spoon Lake, with spectacular mountain views surrounding the Lake. Although we have neighbors, each property around the lake offers 1 to 5 acres of privacy with the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife that live here.

Our cabin is unique in that our guests feel as though they have stepped back in time to another era from the old west, yet with most modern conveniences that we are accustomed to. One guest even asked..."Is it on the historic registry?".
