Lake front 4 season rustic log cabin located in the foothills of the White mountains.

The 3 bedroom plus 1 bathroom 4 season log cabin fully furnished which sleeps 7 comfortably. The perfect cabin for leaving your cell phone and stress home and relaxing with all the beauty the lake regions has to offer. Escape from the city to sunny lake front cabin with its cool country nights filled with lake breezes sleeping under a cozy quilt.

The cabin is nestled in a wooded lot abutting the White National Forest, NH on a pristine non-motorized quiet lake 5 feet from the front porch. It's a convenient 2 hour drive from Boston.

The cabin sits on 4.75 acre with the lake as the front yard and forest as its border. The property and area abounds with hiking trails for wildlife watching that includes deer, bear, partridge, moose, geese, mallards, loons, bald eagles, hawks, owls and much more. If you feel like a drive, 45 minutes to Conway, Mt Washington and many other local attractions.


The cabin includes the following:
3 Bedrooms and 1 full bathroom all done and decorated in rustic style with maximum comfort in mind. The environment provides all the rugged rustic lifestyle of the wild with the convenience and pleasure of living in a home with every need accounted for.

Couldnā€™t have asked for a better location for a couples getaway to bring in the New Year. A perfect location if youā€™re looking for a nice secluded cabin. Not a far drive from the highway either so it was perfect place to stay while exploring around the white mountains. After exploring around, the best part of our stay was the beautiful fireplace that gave the perfect cozy vibes each night.

We spent Christmas in the cabin. It was a fantastic experience. The area is beautiful and can be a wonderland in the snow. The cabin is pleasant, warm, and well maintained, and the location next to the lake was very nice. The host was extremely helpful and responded immediately to our questions. Several cross country and downhill skiing options are just a short distance away. I would highly recommend this site. (If you are coming in the winter months, though, you will really need an AWD vehicle. There is a long gravel driveway that can be difficult in the snow. That said, the driveway is plowed and sanded very promptly, so if you come prepared, you should not have a problem).

Just what we were looking for- a peaceful cabin on a beautiful, quiet lake that had everything we needed to have a great mother/daughter vacation! All the essentials were provided for our stay, and I especially enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake, pick wild blueberries, and cool off in the water. There was so much wildlife to watch- loons, heron, hummingbirds, a bald eagle, you name it! The fire pit was also a great feature. Alexander, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Wonderful experience, would absolutely stay again, we miss it already.

North Woodstock lake house

Great log cabin steps away from the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Host Alexander was very prompt on icing issue we experienced on driveway due to spring snow melt and overnight refreezing. He sent his crew right out to salt the driveway. We had a great weekend at the house and look forward to returning.

Wonderful Winter Vacation

The cabin was sooo warm and cozy! The setting was beautiful! We had fun snoeshowing on the property and the frozen lake and skiing nearby at Waterville Valley! Awesome winter vacation!

Comfortable and cozy ski get-away

We had a very memorable stay at this beautiful home for our ski trip! Wonderful location on the lake with stunning morning and evening light in the skies. Warm fires in a remarkably well designed fireplace made for a welcome return from the slopes of Loon Mountain. Three snug bedrooms and open kitchen-living area all made for an excellent stay! Highly recommend.

Lakeside Retreat

This lakeside home was the perfect combination of seclusion, easy access, cabin charm and modern amenities. It was minutes from 93 but once you pull in the driveway you're enveloped by the rugged terrain and canopy. AWD/4WD required in the winter when snow is a part of the equation. The lake was a 10 second walk from the porch which had amazing views and we enjoyed the chatter from the resident bald eagles. The kitchen had all the little things you'd expect in a home that is lived in. The bedrooms are versatile and clean. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Location

The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the large fireplace, canoeing on the lake and relaxing in the solitude. I would have appreciated a warning about the water as it is brown and we would have brought water for drinking and making coffee. There is no coin operated laundry on site as the listing states so I would have brought more clothes. Other than a heads up on those details, it was a beautiful place to stay.

Breath taking property

The pictures do not do the property and setting justice. Itā€™s breath taking. Alexander was extremely responsive to any question or concerns we had at any given time. My only reason for not giving our experience a 5 star is because the property def could have used a deep cleaning as well as a handful of the furniture and items could have used some TLC/ attention. Other than that We had a great stay

Perfect cabin in the Woods

This cabin is perfectly located on the edge of mirror lake. Everything lived up to our expectations, the facilities were great, we enjoyed canoeing on the lake, sitting on the veranda and round the fire pit in the evening, family time in the the cabin, spotting the wildlife when we were outdoors. A really good life experience.
